Preakness Stakes Travel Agent Specialist

The Preakness Stakes is known as "The People's Race" and it's easy to see why. This annual event brings together a diverse crowd of racing enthusiasts, fashionistas, and party-goers for an unforgettable day at the races.  If you're planning on attending this year's Preakness Stakes, there are a few things you need to know before you go. From picking out the perfect outfit to navigating transportation options, I can help you arrange your tip. As your travel agent advisor, I’ve got the skills and experience you need to make the most of your time. So saddle up and get ready to attend the races. I’m here to guide you through all the essentials for attending the Preakness Stakes!  The Preakness Stakes is an annual American thoroughbred horse race held on the third Saturday in May at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland. It is a Grade I stakes race for three-year-old horses and is the second leg of the Triple Crown, following the Kentucky Derby and preceding the Belmont Stakes.  First run in 1873, the Preakness Stakes was named by a former Maryland governor after his colt Preakness, who won the first running of the race.  If you're attending the Preakness Stakes, you'll need to make sure you have a plan for transportation. The event is held at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, and there are a variety of ways to get there. If you're driving, you'll need to purchase a parking pass in advance. You can do this through the Pimlico website or through Ticketmaster. Parking passes range in price from $10-$40, depending on where you want to park. There are also a limited number of handicap-accessible parking spaces available. To make things simple, I can assist you with your rental car and parking. If you're taking public transportation, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) operates buses and trains that will take you to the Pimlico Race Course. You can view schedules and fares on the MTA website. Again, to simplify the process, I can check all the details and make recommendations. There are also a number of private shuttle services that operate from various locations around Baltimore. These shuttles typically charge per person, and you can find more information on their websites or by calling them directly. Once more, you don’t have to take time out of your busy schedule to check and recheck shuttle dates. I can manage all the details so you can focus on your regular everyday activities. When attending the Preakness Stakes, it is important to dress for the occasion. Many people choose to wear formal or semi-formal attire, as this is a big event. However, it is also important to be comfortable and dress for the weather.  The race takes place in May, so the weather can be warm or cool. If it is warm out, consider wearing a sundress or light jacket. If it is cooler, jeans and a sweater may be a better option. Regardless of the temperature, remember to wear comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking. Assuming you're coming from out of town, there are a few things you should bring with you to make your Preakness experience the best! First and foremost, be sure to pack your camera - you'll want to document all the fun you're having!  Secondly, while the dress code is not too strict at the Preakness, remember that this is a formal event - so don't forget to pack your nicest clothes! It’s best to dress to impress. Third, depending on how you're getting to the Preakness (more on that later), you may want to bring some cash for parking or other incidentals.  And finally, don't forget to bring your sense of adventure and excitement - this is going to be a great time! If you're driving, be sure to arrive early and park in one of the official lots. If you're taking public transportation, be sure to check the schedules in advance and allow plenty of time to get to and from the event.  Also, take advantage of all the food and drink options at the event. There are dozens of restaurants and bars within walking distance of Pimlico Race Course, so be sure to explore them and visit them  Finally, don't forget to place your bets! The Preakness is one of the biggest horse racing events of the year, so be sure to get in on the action. Attending the Preakness Stakes is a unique experience that requires some effort. From picking the perfect clothes to wear to finding reliable transportation, it's important to plan ahead and make sure you have everything you require.  That’s why you need to call me. As a travel agent professional, I can make your trip to the Preakness a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Call me today so we can start planning your May getaway!

Belmont Stakes Travel Agent Professional

Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to put on your best fascinators and derby hats because the Belmont Stakes is just around the corner! This highly anticipated event not only promises an exciting day of horse racing but also a chance to indulge in some delectable brunch treats.  But with so many options available, where do you even begin? Look no further because I’m a travel agent specialist for the Belmont Stakes. So, I have compiled some comprehensive information - information that will take you from betting on the races to sipping mimosas during brunch.  So take a sip of a mint julep (or two) and let's begin planning your adventure now. The Belmont Stakes is a horse race that is held annually in Belmont, New York. It is the third and final leg of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing, and is considered to be one of the most prestigious races in the world. The Belmont Stakes was first run in 1867, and has been held at Belmont Park since 1905. The race is open to three-year-old thoroughbreds who have already won either the Kentucky Derby or the Preakness Stakes.  A win at the Belmont Stakes secures the Triple Crown for a horse, and this has only been achieved 11 times in history. The Grade 1 stakes horse race is normally held on June 10 annually. It represents the longest and oldest of the three classic Triple Crown series. The Belmont Stakes is run over a distance of 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers), again, making it the longest of the three Triple Crown races. The race attracts large crowds each year, and is often referred to as "The Test of the Champion".  Due to its length, the Belmont Stakes can be a challenging race for horses. In recent years, however, there have been some exciting finishes, with several horses winning by narrow margins. The race predates the running of the Kentucky Derby by nine years and the Preakness by seven years. It is named for the financier, August Belmont, who funded the event. In 1867, the race spanned 1 5/8 miles, with the established 1.5-mile distance set in 1927.  The sinner of the first rate was a filly named Ruthless. She is only one of three fillies, in history, to have won the race. Also the race was originally run clockwise until 1921. At that time, race officials changed the direction to counter-clockwise, or the direction that most American races are run. Whether you’re a seasoned horse racing fan or you want to experience a different way to spend your time, keep on reading. You can go to a brick-and-mortar casino or racetrack, or place a bet online through an online sportsbook. If you opt to visit a brick-and-mortar establishment, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First, you'll need to bring identification with you in order to prove that you're of legal gambling age.  Second, make sure you familiarize yourself with the betting process before placing any wagers - otherwise, you may end up making some costly mistakes. Online sportsbooks are a great option for those who want to place bets on the Belmont Stakes from the comfort of their own home. There are many reputable sportsbooks out there that offer competitive odds and lines on horse racing events.  Plus, signing up for an account is usually quick and easy. Just be sure to do your research when making a choice, as not all sportsbooks are created equal. What to Wear to the Races For ladies, a summer dress or skirt is always a winner. If it’s a particularly hot day, go for something light and airy. A pair of sunglasses and a cute hat will protect you from the elements and add a touch of glamor. Wedges are a good choice of footwear as they won’t sink into the grass.  For men, chinos or linen trousers are a good option. They’re comfortable and smart without being too formal. A polo shirt or button-down shirt will keep you cool and fresh throughout the day. Add a blazer if you want to dress things up a bit. Finish the look with loafers or boat shoes – no one wants to ruin their pristine shoes. When it comes to brunch, there are plenty of great options near The Belmont Stakes. For a classic American brunch, head to Jackson Hole Burgers. This restaurant is a local favorite and serves up memorable burgers. For at-the-track dining, the New York Racing Association has partnered with Levy to provide world-class food and drink options at the park. Whether you’re seeking concession food or wish to eat in private club spaces like the Garden Terrace Dining Room, you’ll truly enjoy the beverages and cuisine.  If you're looking for something a little more upscale nearby, you might check out The River Café. This restaurant offers stunning views of Manhattan and serves up creative dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.  Or, if you're in the mood for something lighter, grab a bagel from Absolute Bagels - bare-bones eatery on Broadway in New York. From learning about betting to finding the best place for brunch, I’ll make sure your trip is a “lucky” journey.

Professional Bull Riding Travel Agent Expert

Hold on to your cowboy hat and get ready to experience the heart-pumping experience of riding a bull. I have the unique opportunity to plan your adventure as I am a professional bull riding travel agent vacation planner.  So, if you’re looking for a unique vacation, I’m the go-to person you need to call. This is a great spectator sport, as there is nothing that quite matches the rush of seeing these fearless athletes and magnificent bulls “spar’ in a bullring.  To learn more about this adventure, we should define professional bull riding first. What is Professional Bull Riding? Professional bull riding is a dangerous sport that has been gaining popularity in recent years. It is a rodeo event where cowboys attempt to ride a bucking bull for eight seconds. The cowboy must stay on the bull with one hand behind his back and the other holding onto a rope attached to the bull. The rope wraps around the animal’s chest, just behind the bull’s front legs. One end of the rope, or the tail, is directed through a loop on the other end before the rope is tightened. The bull rider, in turn, wraps the tail around his hand. He may also weave the tail through his fingers to increase the grip. If the cowboy stays on for the full eight seconds, he is scored on his performance. The higher the score, the more money he can win. Many of the events involve multiple rounds, also called go-rounds. The events may stretch over two or three nights overall. The cowboy and bull are given eight seconds, as the bucking bill begins to tire after this time. Professional bull riding events are held all over the world, but most notably in North America. The top riders in the world compete in a series of events called the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Championship Series. The PBR series of events has become one of the most popular rodeo activities to watch on television or to view in person. If you're thinking about attending a professional bull riding event, there are a few things you should know. First, it's important to dress appropriately. You'll want to wear comfortable clothes that can send up to the environment. Second, be prepared for loud noises and large crowds. Bull riding events are typically very noisy and crowded, so it's important to be aware of your surroundings at all times.  Lastly, don't forget to bring cash! Many bull riding venues do not accept credit cards, so it's always best to come prepared with cash on hand. What to Expect at a Professional Bull Riding Event When you attend a professional bull riding event, you can expect to see some of the best riders in the world compete against some of the most intrepid bulls. The sport is incredibly exciting, which is why it draws such a large crowd.  Here are a few things you can typically expect to see at a professional bull riding event:  -Riders will be judged on their ability to stay mounted on the bull for eight seconds. -The bulls will be randomly selected before each ride. -Each rider will have three rides during the competition. -The rider with the highest score at the end of the competition will be crowned the champion. -There will be plenty of food and drink available for purchase at the event. -You will be able to meet and get autographs from some of your favorite riders. Tips for Safe Travel and Enjoyment of the Event As with any travel adventure, there are some things to keep in mind to make sure your professional bull riding experience is as safe and enjoyable. Here are a few tips: - Do your research before you go. Learn about the area you'll be visiting and what safety precautions you should take. - When packing for your trip, include items that will keep you safe and comfortable, such as sunscreen, a hat, and, preferably, sturdy cowboy boots. - Be aware of your surroundings at all times. This means being aware of the bulls and other riders, as well as the crowd and the arena itself. If you're ever in doubt or feel unsafe, speak up or ask for help from a staff member. - Pay attention to the rules and regulations set by the event organizers. These are in place for everyone's safety, so following them is crucial. - Have fun! Professional bull riding can be an exhilarating experience, so enjoy every minute of this escapade! Think about the story you wish to tell with the pictures. Do you wish to capture the bull’s grace and power? Or, do you want to focus on the athlete? When you're actually out at the event, take advantage of any lulls in the action to scout out good locations for shooting. If possible, for instance, to find an elevated spot so you can look down on the arena and get a different perspective on the action?  Professional bull riding is an amazing, if not intensive experience, that should not be missed. To ensure that your bill riding trip is streamlined and easy, contact me now so you can start planning your journey. As your travel agent advisor and planner, I can’t wait to help you organize your travel plans.

Kentucky Derby Travel Agent Expert

I love being a travel agent specialist for the Kentucky Derby - the most famous thoroughbred horse race event in the world. If you want to attend the Derby, you’ll need to go through a travel agent specialist, as you’ll need to plan in advance and follow a race day itinerary. This is difficult to do if you don’t have someone who is familiar with this once-in-a-lifetime event. You’ll want to schedule your vacation at the end of April or in early May, depending on what festivities you wish to attend. The annual horse race, held at Churchill Downs in Louisville. is classified as a Grade I stakes race for thoroughbreds that are 3 years old. The distance of this super short two-minute sporting event is one and a quarter miles around the track.  In fact, the race is considered the most exciting short sporting event in the world. Nothing can compare to this high stakes horse race. Naturally, it’s always fun to know some fun trivia about the Derby, all which adds to the excitement and interest of the festivities. Typically, horse races feature about 8 horses. However, the Derby is different, as it has a far broader field. Up to 20 horses are entered at Derby time each year.  The first official Kentucky Derby took place in 1875 with the first winner being Aristides - crossing the finish line by two lengths. Attendees, at the time, numbered around 10,000. The first race, which was run on a 1.5-mile dirt track, featured 15 horses. Oliver Lewis was the first winning jockey. The grand event, normally scheduled for the first Saturday in May, is part of the Triple Crown Series. The other two races are the Preakness Stakes, which takes place in the middle part of May, and the Belmont Stakes, which is held in early June. Therefore, the Kentucky Derby is part of America’s horse racing Triple Crown. You’ll never know how the race will turn out at the Kentucky Derby. Some horses can surprise thoroughbred horse racing fans. For example, this was surely the case in 1913. At that time a horse, Donerail, was considered a longshot bet - with the odds placed against him at 91-1. However, the horse blazed across the finish line in 2 minutes, with a fraction of a second to spare.  Trained and owned by Tom P. Hayes, the colt paid out well for anyone who placed a bet on him that year. Gamblers realized a $182.90 return on a $2.00 bet. The total Derby purse that year was $6,600. Naturally, you’ll want to imbibe at the Derby, or enjoy a mint julep, which is the horse race’s traditional drink. Derby-goers drink about 120,000 mint juleps each year. During Derby Day, you can watch horse races throughout the day. However, the real Derby is presented in the evening. Before the event, “My Old Kentucky Home” is sung and the champagne spray in the winner’s circle happens about 7:15 pm. You’ll watch the most exciting 2 minutes in sports just before 7:00 pm. Again, you cannot take part in the event and get advanced tickets easily without working with a travel agent professional. Call me today. As yourKentucky Derby travel agent expert, I’ll make sure your trip to the Kentucky Derby is everything you hope it can be. You can contact me anytime by email or phone. I look forward to speaking with you about your upcoming racing plans.

Kentucky Derby, Guest Ranch Agent Specialist

Do you love horses? Are you attracted to the west, especially states like Wyoming? If so, I can arrange a vacation where you can live the cowboy or cowgirl life. As your travel agent for guest ranches, you’re sure to have a fun and a bronco-busting good time. Let me introduce you to some great Wyoming Dude Ranches and arrange an exciting travel itinerary. If you want a true escape to cowboy country, I can make it happen for you, you and a friend or partner, or for you and your family. For instance, you might think of visiting a ranch like the Lazy L&B Ranch in Dubois, Wyoming. You can arrange travel to the site from May to September. All ranches, you will find, will give you a personalized experience, as they typically limit guests to up to 30 to 35 people. In Saratoga, Wyoming, the Medicine Bow Lodge and Adventure Guest Ranch has an even smaller-than-average guest capacity. The ranch accepts visitors May through October, allowing up to 15 guests for bookings. Jackson, Wyoming is home to the Spotted Horse Ranch, with a guest capacity of 34 people. I can arrange an exciting dude ranch vacation for you from May through October. There’s also the Goosewing Ranch in Jackson. Plan a visit to the dude ranch anywhere between June and September. The above ranches are only a few of the many ranches you can stay at when you visit dude-ranch-friendly states such as Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and California. While most people relate California with its sunny beaches and water sports, it has the largest number of dude ranches in the U.S. Luxury dude ranch vacations include activities such as gold panning, river rafting, and fly fishing. However, if you’re looking for a Rocky Mountain experience, I’d suggest you select a dude ranch excursion to Wyoming - a place where the Rocky Mountains and High Plains converge. With its small population and large, open areas, the state is a cowboy or cowgirl paradise. Wyoming inspires dreams of riding on horseback while Yellowstone National Park in the northwest allows you to explore some spectacular landmarks and scenery. Steaming geysers, stunning waterfalls, and vast canyons are all visible from Grand Loop Road, which also offers a great panorama of the park. Hundreds of paths traverse the park and offer access to secluded lakes, deep backcountry areas, and beautiful vistas. Vacations at Wyoming Dude Ranches sometimes include trips to Yellowstone. Grand Teton National Park sits in northwest Wyoming. Your breath might be taken away when you catch your first glimpse of the grand ranges that rise abruptly from the Jackson Hole Valley. The valley floor is covered in lush grasslands and sits in the shadows of peaks and glaciers that originate at elevations higher than 12,000 feet. This breathtaking region is home to moose, elk, and bear, all of which are commonly seen on supervised dude ranch trips. You can ride and herd cattle, relax in a hot pool, river raft, hike, or sit on a veranda reading a book. Let’s plan a dude ranch vacation now. As your travel agent specialist for Wyoming, I’m sure you’ll find this type of vacation one you’ll remember fondly the rest of your life. Contact me for all the details today.
