The driest, sunniest season is typically December through April. May through October can be wetter and windier, but often comes with better value and great conditions for surfers.

Most travelers receive a free tourist visa on arrival for a short stay, as long as they meet entry requirements (passport validity, onward ticket, etc.). Your advisor can confirm the latest requirements based on your passport.

After landing in Malé, resorts arrange transfers by speedboat, domestic flight + speedboat, or seaplane depending on distance. We’ll confirm timings, baggage limits (especially for seaplanes), and coordinate everything so it’s seamless.

Overwater villas are iconic for views, direct lagoon access, and privacy. Beach villas offer easier beach access, often more space, and can be better for families. We’ll match you to the right villa type based on snorkeling, privacy, budget, and mobility needs.

Light resort wear, reef-safe sunscreen, a rash guard, sandals, and a light layer for breezy evenings are key. If you plan to snorkel a lot, bringing your own mask can be a game-changer, though most resorts provide gear. Make sure to inquire about the dress code for restaurants on property. Your advisor can help you with that.
