River Cruise Travel Agent Expert

A river cruise has a very different vibe than an ocean cruise — it’s more about slow travel, intimate settings, and scenic immersion. Here are the main benefits: Constant Scenery - You are almost always within sight of land, so there’s something to see from your cabin or the sun deck — vineyards, castles, quaint villages, wildlife.  Dock in the Heart of Cities - River ships are small enough to moor right in the center of towns (Paris, Budapest, Vienna, Amsterdam, etc.), meaning you can step off and start exploring immediately — no tender boats or long bus rides. Smaller Ships = More Intimate Experience  - Fewer passengers (often under 200) means no long lines, easier mingling, and more personalized service from crew. Culturally Rich Itineraries - Ports are closer together, so you get more destination time and less “at sea” time. Shore excursions tend to focus on history, architecture, local food, and authentic cultural experiences. Smooth Sailing - Rivers are calm, so seasickness is almost never an issue. Inclusive Pricing - Many river cruises bundle excursions, Wi-Fi, wine/beer with meals, and sometimes gratuities into the fare — fewer surprise charges compared to ocean cruises. Relaxed Pace - No rushing between ports or days without land — you can enjoy leisurely mornings, long lunches, and unhurried sightseeing. Unique Access - Some itineraries reach places ocean liners can’t — like the Douro Valley in Portugal, the Mekong in Vietnam, or the Rhine Gorge in Germany. Seasonal Specialties - Certain river cruises coincide with special events — European Christmas markets, tulip season in the Netherlands, fall wine harvests, etc.. Easy Packing - Since you’re never far from shore, dress codes are generally more relaxed, and you won’t need multiple formal outfits. As you disembark, you carry with you the memories of a tranquil journey along Europe's waterways, where each bend in the river unveiled a new story and each port of call offered a glimpse into the continent's rich tapestry of history and culture.

Dude Ranches Travel Agent Specialist

There are many benefits when vacationing at a dude ranch. Breathe fresh air and enjoy the wide open spaces. One of the best things about dude ranch vacations is that it offers a chance to remove yourself from city and suburban life and spend your days exploring or getting in touch with nature.  Great family get together vacation. The exercise is good for you both physically and mentally. Take a break from your electronic devices and social media accounts, some good old-fashioned face-to-face activities with friends and family. Horseback riding is a popular activity at dude ranches. Visitors can explore the scenic trails on horseback, and even go for a swim in some of the ranch's ponds or streams. As mentioned, hiking is another great way to take in the scenery at a dude ranch. There are often miles of trails to explore, and visitors can even go backpacking overnight if they want to really commune with the stars and nature. Fishing is another popular activity at dude ranches. Many of the sites have their own private lakes or ponds stocked with fish. Many ranches feature fly fishing as a primary activity. Camping is also available at some dude ranches. Visitors can set up their own tents or rent RV sites. Best Locations for a Dude Ranch Adventure Below are some of the best locations for a dude ranch adventure: 1. The Rockies – A dude ranch in the Rockies is the perfect place to enjoy stunning scenery, hike, and horseback ride. Some of the ranches include the Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, the Drowsy Water Ranch, and the Elk Mountain Ranch - all which are located in Rocky Mountain National Park. 2. Yellowstone National Park – A dude ranch near Yellowstone National Park is a great way to experience all that this iconic destination has to offer, from geothermal activities to area wildlife viewing. I can arrange a vacation at Rimrock Ranch, Parade Rest Guest Ranch, or Elkhorn Ranch. 3. The Desert Southwest – A dude ranch in the desert southwest is the perfect place to enjoy sunny skies, dramatic landscapes, and cowboy culture. You’ll love the sagebrush and desert terrain. It’s best to take a hiatus during October when the temperature is more moderate. One of the idyllic places for a family to stay is the Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch in Yucca, Arizona - complete with saguaro cactus. The site comes with its own stagecoach as well. Enjoy the nightly outdoor singalongs and hearty family meals as well with the petting zoo that has a miniature horse.  4. California Dude Ranches. You’ll also find a lot of due ranches in California. You can see the beautiful California scenery at places like the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort, the Marble Mountain Ranch, Rankin Ranch, and Hunewill Circle “H” Guest Ranch. I can even schedule dude ranch vacations for you in Anchorage, Alaska or the Silver Oaks Ranch in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Hawi, Hawaii is also home to the Puakea Ranch - a prime location that features bungalows with ocean views. When most people think of a dude ranch vacation, they imagine riding horses and enjoying the great outdoors. However, there is a lot more to consider when planning your trip. Below are some tips to help you plan the perfect dude ranch vacation: 1. Choose the right location: There are dude ranches all across the US, so it's important to choose one that is convenient for you to get to. You'll also want to consider the climate and terrain of the area when making your decision. 2. Determine what activities you want to do: Most dude ranches offer a variety of activities, from horseback riding and hiking to fishing and swimming. Be sure to research the activities offered at each ranch before making your final decision. 3. Consider your budget: Dude ranch vacations can be pricey, so it's important to consider your budget before booking anything. Many ranches offer discounts for groups or longer stays, so be sure to ask about these options. 4. Choose the right time of year: The best time to visit a dude ranch varies, depending on the location. For example, if you're looking to go horseback riding, you'll want to visit during the summer months when the weather is warmer. However, if you're interested in winter activities like skiing or snowboarding, you'll need to plan your trip for early spring or late fall instead. 5. Maldives is located in Southern Asia and is an archipelago located in the Indian Ocean.  The weather varies between 74 to 88 degrees year round.  The best time to go is between November and April as there is very little rainfall.  It is a snorkeling paradise with over 2000 species of fish.  With over 2500 reefs it is a great destination for underwater adventures.  One of my favorite resorts is Royal Davui which is a boutique adult only private island resort with white sand beaches and turquoise water.  There are a lot of water sports offered as well as a spa and the staff is amazing!

Built and settled by the ancient Mayans, the town’s Mayan ruins and inviting beaches provide both interest and adventure. One of the interesting sites in Tulum is Castillo (castle) – an imposing stone structure that overlooks the area’s white sand shore and aquamarine blue sea. Also, close to the Mayan ruins sits Parque Nactional Tulum, known for its mangroves and natural scenery. If you wish to seriously relax and commune with nature, Tulum is the ideal destination.Tulum is located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo – one of the reasons why I love this location. Quintana Roo is also home to Cancun, and Nichupte Lagoon, revered for its coral reefs, long stretches of beaches, indigenous plants and wildlife.  Mexico is a great option for honeymoons or destination weddings.  You can also venture off the coast a bit to the reefed isle of Isla Mujeres, known for its nature paths and seafront eateries and great local people, rent a golf cart for the day and explore the island, swim with whale sharks, explore the turtle sanctuary. ROME, FLORENCE, AMALFI CUSTOM TRAVEL

Rome is an ancient city that stands out for its archeology, history, religious cultures, art exhibits, and a great destination for foodies. I work closely with a specialized company that provides authentic food tours, traditional tasting classes and other tailor made activities.  Guided day trips from Rome that are popular are to Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Positano to name a few. For attractions it can be a bit crowded at peak times and the Skip-the-line tours when possible, really help expedite entry into sites like Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Tour, St. Peter’s Basilica, Tuscany day trips, Catacomb tours.  Around the city many different cooking classes and food tours are a must when visiting Rome.  Another way to see Italy if you want to venture out is to travel the country by train.  Italy is very easy to get around without a car.  Some itineraries might include Rome, Venice, Florence or even Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, with a few days in each city which we can customize to activities you want to do.

Croatia Travel Agent Advisor

Many travelers do not know that Croatia, once known as Yugoslavia, is very safe to travel. The country's Byzantine art, delicious foods, and picturesque towns makes for a compelling European escape and holiday. That is why I love to share information, as a travel agent, for this crescent-shaped country in Eastern Europe. Sitting in the northwest portion of the Balkan Peninsula, Croatia is geographically diverse. The capital of Zagreb spans the north while the popular city of Dubrovnik overlooks the Adriatic Sea in southern Croatia. I like to suggest a trip to Dubrovnik, as the city is both picturesque and interesting historically and architecturally. Dubrovnik, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, regularly receives vast numbers of visitors, many of whom are day-trippers or cruise-goers. If you go during the summer, it can be difficult to find accommodations. That is why, as a travel agent advisor, I recommend travel times, such as the spring or fall, when the city is less congested. Durbrovnik's history, just like Croatia's, has been defined by a struggle - one where the people have perpetually worked toward remaining independent. The former name of the city was Ragusa, which translates, in English, to "rock." The name still appears on museums and flags in the walled city. Another good city to visit in Split, the ideal hub for exploring the Dalmatian Islands. If you head toward this destination, you will want to direct your travels to the islands' beaches, including their rustic restaurants that you will find further inland. Both sun worshippers and windsurfers love this part of Croatia, known for its Golden Cape - a well-known shingle beach. Shingle beaches are rare and are made up of pebbles, stones, and other small rocks instead of sand. A trip to the capital of Zagreb will lead you to some interesting Austro-Hungarian buildings, including the city's Gothic Cathedral and St. Mark's Church, built in the 1200s. The pedestrian-friendly Tkalciceva Street is home to outdoor cafes while you will find the central square in Lower Town. Would you like to learn more about a trip to Croatia? If so, I am your go-to travel agent for this fascinating country. Give me a call or email me anytime for planning your ideal holiday.

Turks & Caicos Islands are open for travel!  This wonderful destination is made up of 40 differEnt islands and cays.  Scuba divers love this destination as it has the third largest barrier reef in the world, spanning 14 miles. Beaches, The Palms and Windsong are a few of my favorites. Enjoy a sunset champagne cruises, snorkeling and Iguana Island, clear kayaking  mangrove tours or visit the La Famille Express shipwreck.
