Puerto Rico Travel Agent Expert

Puerto Rico is an amazing destination & these are some of the highlights that have made me fall in love with Puerto Rico. Bring a camera along too!

Las Paylas Waterfall is a place you have to visit, it's a beautiful waterfall that you can slide down like a natural water slide. It's in the rain-forest. There is a trail to get to the waterfall it's only a 5 minuet walk to get to the waterfall, there is a main pool there that is smooth to slide down, as well as a rope for swinging & jumping into the water. There's other spots where you can slide down as well. There's a dog that lives at the waterfall & he's a friendly little guy.

Vieques Island is a cool small island off the coast of Puerto Rico to get there, you can take a ferry of the Ceiba terminal off the coast of San Wa. Purchase tickets for the Ferry ride in advance. The Ferry ride takes about an hour, when you get there you can rent a golf cart & explore the island. There are majestic wild horses everywhere that you can stop and see.The beaches around the island are incredible. One of my favorite things to do is kayak in Bio Bay, it's the brightest and bio-luminescent Bay. You get in a glowing bus with a guide that takes you to the bay, and they give you your kayak. It's an amazing experience to do once it begins to get dark. You can see the plankton glowing beneath you on the kayak.

Food: Try Duffy's on Vieques Island, they have delicious Fish Tacos & you can get a table outside to see the sunset . Christie's has fluffy pancakes you must try!

Go to Culebra and hang out at Flamenco Beach, where you can snorkle & have a blast!

Rio Camuy Caves the third largest cave system in the entire world. It's definetely a unique experience. You can only enter the caves through a guided tour. Again, always make sure tickets are purchased in advance during your trip. Once you arrive for your tour, you are provided with everything you need for it. A helmet for safety, a badge that notes you belong to the tour group & an MP3 player that self guides you through the tour. You see al ot of animals & arachnids. There is stairs and it gets dark once in the cave, you can go with the group or off on your own. Please bring a flashlight as a phone light will not be enough to see in the cave. There is a spectacular that runs through the cave that is magical to see.

Monkey Island is home to thousands of Monkeys and Iguanas. The baby monkeys are so adorable! The island is used for studying primate behavior so you are not able to actually go onto the island but you can Kayak or boat there.

Old San Juan ia a small town out on the Penninsula, it's a place surrounded by water & the energy of the city is electric. There's tons of old castles to walk through that are stunning. That feels like you stepped into a novel. There is also a large field where people hang around and fly kites.

Food Trucks in Old San Juan are an option as well. You can get some delicious authentic tacos, there's & plenty of places to eat & shop. I love getting tacos from a food truck. The food is made with love.

Food : Spiga has amazing guava rolls & pastries. Cafe Cumunion is a nice hip spot with excellent food. Deaverdura has rave reviews & has a variety of Puerto Rican dishes to try. El Jibarito has big portions, their rice & meat is cooked perfectly.

Canando Lagoon is a small bay that is lagoon in San Juan that s home to a family of endangered manatees. You can rent a kayak at the bay & head out to look for manatees. They are huge, amazing sea cows!

El Yunque National Rain-forest is the only rain-forest in America that is amazing almost like the movie Avatar where you see the beautiful unknown, trees & vast growing plant life. There is one main road that leads into the Rain-forest & it gets a little dense with leaves as you go but, on the way down this road there's plenty of places to stop & enjoy the scenery. You can even enjoy the views off of a castle rooftop. There are some amazing trails that lead you to some hidden spots that are simply wonderful.

Casa Bacardi is a massive Bacardi Factory where you can see where the rum is made on a tour after the tour you can participate in a mixology class where the teach you how to make different drinks with Bacardi Rum. They even provide you with a special rum that's especially made for those who come to the factory. You'll have a fun time learning how to mix drinks!

Distro T mobile is a great place to check out at night there's lights & a huge screen that makes the sky come to life, as well as many other screens around you. Around this there's places to eat, & a arcade, & zip lining. It's an awesome place to check out at night & the kids would love it just as much as the adults!

Aracibo Observatory is the worlds largest radio telescope and its where humans sent the first message to space. Its a fantastic historical site to see. The observatory isn't functional anymore after a platform collapsed on to the dish. The drive to get there is open and very relaxing.

Maine Travel Agent Specialist

Portland Maine is a city where oysters and lobster rolls are practically a birthright, it's a beautiful coastal area, with craft beers and amazing food. Portland is Maine's largest city.

The Old Port District & Waterfront is an old part of Portland, some of the buildings date back to the late 16-1700's, so the buildings are quite charming for their old age. The architecture is amazing! There's cobblestones roads & it's just a picturesque landscape.

You can go on boat tours, whale watch and take historical tours on the old fire-trucks.

Food : Dimillos  On The Water- Wonderful seafood restaurant on the Portland Ferry. Also, try Duck Fat get their crispy duck fat soaked fries, they are tasty! Eventide is an amazing seafood restaurant. Get their Oysters. They are so fresh & delicious. The Holy Donut: It's an iconic Donut shop that's expanded to other locations but, if you travel to Maine, you must have a donut. They are phenominal. I am obsessed. They use fresh ingredients. Chocolate Sea Salt is my favorite!

Hardshore Distillary offers tasty has excellent whiskey.

If you happen to be in the area on a Wednesday or Saturday mornings head over to Deering Oaks Park to visit Portland's Farmers Market. It's a good spot to enjoy nature as well and enjoy a walk.

Fort Williams Park & Portland Head Light - Has a calm vibe, it's more low key, relaxed area. You can see the historic Portland Headlight, which is the light-house built in 1791. It was commissioned by George Washington himself. It does cost $2 for 2 hour parking. It's a scenic area that is so calming. At Fort Williams Park there are tons of trails  to explore & there is a playground there for the kids & locals to enjoy. There are nearby abandoned forts that were used to defend the harbor from potential naval attacks in the 18th and 19th century's.

Take a history walking tour, or go out on Lobster Cruises, where they take you to  go lobster catching! You can even purchase a lobster right off the boat where you can take it across the street to get it cooked for you. It was 2 lobsters for $25 and only $11.99 for them to cook it with all the fixings, which was pretty reasonable.

West End Neighborhood has some impressive architecture to check out! Victorian Era homes that need to be seen, there's even the Victorian Mansion that's a true gem. There are guided tours that teach you about it's history. It's ornate & amazing.

Also, check out the Portland Museum of Art, there's works of wonder an amazement at every turn, that's tasteful & well done.

Next, see Congress Street, it's filled with cafes & places to shop. Check out Maincraft Portland has a wide range of items from apparel, jewlry to items for the home. The artist really put care and quality into their work.

Monument Square  is home to the statue" Our Lady of Victories" and is built to commemorate the soldiers who lost their lives during the Civil War.

Old Orchard Beach- It has a famous pier and a waterfront amusement park the pier opened in 1898. There's food, dessert & fun around other corner.

Damariscotta- You can enjoy Oysters and learn all about the Oyster Industry while sipping good wine.  Capacity has a farm to table experience or try a Kabutcha Bar in town.

For a great camping experience try Lake Pemaquid, and visit the Pemaquid Light-house.

Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, has the tallest Mountain on the east coast with the Porcupine Islands off in the distance. It's a unique nature filled landscape that's accessible to all. Jordan Pond is a special spot. You have an amazing view, it's such a calm atmosphere. You can see a lot of seals around this area. Bass Harbor Headlight is another beautiful light-house to see. It has a red light so it can be seen by boaters across the water. The area is also dog friendly, so bring your dogs along for the walk too!

Cancun Travel Agent Advisor

Cancun is a place of beauty, architecture, beaches & relaxation. There's tons of water activities to do, and is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. Stunning surroundings, and is an excellent area for the food lover. Fresh seafood and amazing authentic tacos. Cancun is the ultimate place to relax & let go.  One place that I loved seeing was the Chichen Itza,  it's a beautiful archaeological site, a Meso-American like pyramid created by the Mayans in 600-900 AD. It's a stunning site & piece of History that's fascinating to see. I loved seeing this. I'd recommend bringing a camera you'll want photos of this adventure.

One of the things I enjoyed was Swimming with Whale Sharks is something amazing to do, if your looking to mix adventure with some marine life thrill. You can find them all around the area, and the season for these sharks is May-late September. It's the largest fish in the sea and only feeds on plankton, so it's a beautiful gentle giant. I am not the best swimmer but, I was lucky enough to see a Whale Shark. Another fun activity, you can do is go on a Catamaran.  When you are in Cancun you can get a boat tour around the area, even down to the gulf of Mexico, and you can explore the area or even take a sunset cruise, or even go Parasailing & see the panoramic views from up high of the surrounding area. It's quite the thrill. You can Kayak in the area as well. I enjoyed a bit of kayaking, where it was just me and the water. It was quite peaceful. There is the island Isla Mujeres also known as the island of the women, they have the best beach area in all of Mexico. You can get a golf cart to ride it around the beach area, I'd recommend doing that. If you go to the southern part of the island there is the Garrfon Natural Reef Park is where you can shop and they have that swimming with whale sharks activity if you'd like to do that. It's all quite wonderful. I also loved taking a local cooking class where I learned how to make authentic Mexican shrimp tacos. They were delicious, I go to try out my handiwork & enjoy a taste of Cancun. I found Ssuba Diving a fun activity, although I didn't get to try it here, it's always an option for those who love it & want to try it. Scuba Diving  is typically in season from November - April and is the best time to dive. You can get your PADI there, which is a scuba diving certification, & you can also take guided underwater tours. Cancun is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world. You can snorkle, swim & surf, and even take surf lessons.  Cozumel is another island you & you can arrive by airport or take a ferry boat & check out the reefs in this area. There's bars and beach restaurants here.

The Hotel Zone - Beaches, shopping, & Nightlife is all in the hotel zone.

Xcaret- is a water-park.I love this part of Mexico.  It takes an hour to get here from Cancun. You can see manatee's & dolphins & even zip line into the water if you're feeling brave. Now, I watched people do this, I haven't been brave enough to try this yet. Maybe one day. There's a tall slide which you can slide right into the water you can do as well, this I found fun. There's resorts in this area as well. Cenotes: this is a beautiful like water park that requires an admission park where you can swim get snacks & drinks, & is an alternative to try if your not in a resort area. Historical sites are amazing to see there's the Tulum Archelogical Site . It's one of the most impressive & well preserved Myan ruins. It was an observation area for Astronomy.Coba is another impressive archaeological site created by the Mayans. largest connection of stone roads. This is like their own little network. Tulum Beach is beautiful to see & experience to see with the family, there's resorts here as well. You can have your own pool if staying at a resort. You can rent bikes, mopeds & motorbikes to ride around the area.

The food in the area is like no other. Tasty & cheesy. You can get fresh coconut juice, shrimp tacos, they have tons of Mexican food to try. Peter's Restaurant in downtown Cancun is a family owned restaurant offers an intimate dining experience The Seafood Fettuccine & Key Lime Pie are amazing! Reservations are a must, since they only have 8 tables. They treat you like family there. The Cenacolo offers wonderful Italian Cuisine, located on the Boulevard Kukulcan in the LA Eurpea Building Zona Hotelera, they have succulent fresh catch seafood and is a worth while indulgence, please make reservations in advance for the best seating. El Oasis Mariscos in Cancun specializes in seafood dishes & has a wonderful family friendly atmosphere with indoor & outdoor dining. Their Margerita's are amazing.

Then there's Mercado 28 where you can find authentic street food. It's a local hub & market from everything grocery, & keepsakes you can find it all here. Don't be afraid to negotiate here on prices. Street vendors can work with you.

I loved Cancun, it's amazing & I hope you love it too!

Bora Bora Travel Agent Specialist

Bora Bora is a luxury destination, and is a small island &  a 12-square-mile volcanic island that's extinct and it's surrounded by a vibrant turquoise lagoon & barrier reef, and is a beautiful travel destination that will leave you feeling happy, refreshed & relaxed.

Vaitape Town- Bora Bora's largest town and is located on the western side of the island & is the arrival place for most of Bora Bora's visitors. There's a free shuttle ferry that takes you there from the airport. There are local market stands and many locals live around & shop here. You can buy keepsakes from your adventures at Bora Bora here too! There's Anoea and Thitian pearls shops. I attended the annual free Heieva festival that blends culture and dance. Viatape Harbor is a beautiful area to explore as well.

Matira Beach the islands only public beach & it's simply stunning. Around the the beach there are rentals & accomadations for people to choose from, & there is food on the boarder. Bloody Mary's Restaurant This restaurant is known for it's seafood. The fish is fresh & flakey. I loved it!

Fare Manuia is near Matria Beach Road, they offer Pizza's and family friendly dishes.

Also try taking a Sunset cruise. It allows you to take in the beauty around you.

Hiking - There is the TV Towers Hike and can take approximately 45 minuets to complete. It starts from tusami Refuge #17 and leads to the lagoon's turquoise waters. The views around this hike are breath taking. For a more adventurous hike, try Mt. Mata Pupu it can take up to 2 hours to complete & It begins near tusnami refuge #16. The trail has a steep rope section that leads you to a summit where the views up there are fantastic.

Do not go on this hike after it has rained, it would make traveling up the rope to get to the summit a bit difficult & is unsafe.

Drive or Bike around the Island you can explore the island by motorbike or electric bike and once you leave the vaitape area's the roads become very quite. There are rentals for you to use. You get to soak in all the scenery around Bora Bora. I found this relaxing for me, it lets me think & allows me to forget all of my worries.

WWII Cannons : I sought out the WWII that were left behind. It's a slice of history that we still have today, and it's on the eastern side ofthe main island in, Annau. You will find a small stand where you pay to take the trail to see these impressive cannons.

Over-Water Bungalow's are amazing, theyare located on the motives and The Westin Resort & Spa is the epitomie of luxury. There's fancy dining, beautiful beaches. The Westin Resort is all about luxury & pampering yourself. The Bungalow's are beautiful in and out. There's seating & an infinity pool for you to sit in. It has a spectacular view of the mountain.

There's an Eco-Center Turtle Center, they take in hurt or harmed turtles, that help the ecosystem.

There's a beautiful boutique center to see as well.

The Westin has Water Bikes to rent if you want to try that unique activity, they also have kayaks as well.

There are Daily Handicrafts you can learn as well which include Coconut Palm Weaving, Shell Craft & Flower Crown Weaving.

Marine Activities : You can board boats for tours & snorkel & see marine life. You can snorkel with Manta Rays. Bora bora is home to many Manta Ray cleaning stations where fish remove parasites from the Manta Rays body, wear flippers & goggles underwater. It would make moving underwater easy for you.

Jet Ski The Lagoon this is my favorite thing to do, you can take a tour to do this. The water feels great & it's so much fun. You can take quick photos along the way. After this you can stop at a motive for a Coconut Husking demonstration where you can enjoy tasty coconut juice.

Bahamas Cruise Travel Agent Specialist

The Bahamas is a popular cruise destination because if how close it is to the United states and is simply beautiful to see. Many cruise lines offer short and long cruises to the islands.  Some cruises are are romantic, family oriented, Las Vegas styled with intense entertainment and casinos.

The magic begins with World Carribean Cruise( Nassau & Cococay) The cruise duration is for 3 days and 2 nights on the ship. Opting for a longer cruise is possible. It all depends on what you want.

On the ship, I ate at the Windjammer which is the main buffet on the ship then I waited until the rooms opened up so I could take my luggage to the cabin. The buffet was spectacular. The buffet had a variety of pastries and delicious seafood.

I had an ocean view room. You have Sea pass cards that are linked to the credit card you put on file. You can use these cards to purchase things on the ship and at cococay. It's also how the ship keeps track of it's passengers by scanning these cards when people go on & off the ship. You can pick up drink packages and wifi Packages and they provide you with cups with your drink package. There's an amazing Tex Mex place on board, the tacos is something I'd recommend you try! A pool to enjoy, there's an Adventure Ocean Escape Room, Music Halls, Sprinkles Ice Cream, a Whirlpool Spa, Zip lining, a Playscape, Wipe-out Bar, Giovanni's Italian Kitchen they have amazing pastas, I recommend you give them a try. There's a Sea Spa & Fitness Center, Photo Gallery  & much more. There's even water slides to explore.

If you want to see some of their entertainment you can reserve your seats of the show times on the Royal Carribean Wonders of The Sea App. The Milkshakes at Johnny Rockets are a must try. The Intense Maximum Performance was something I really enjoyed seeing.

There's a night club on board for people to try as well. Eat before you leave the ship this cruise decided to do Cococay first and then Nassau last when it's typically the other way around on most ships.

Cococay has different Beaches & games to play Volleyball, board games, ping pong, diving, Zip lining, wave pool, you can go up in the big balloon etc. Some of these activities are free while others may cost depending on your packages.

There's lockers that are free to use first come first serve around the island & mainly near the attractions, and there's a tram that takes people around the island if they don't want to walk. There's a wave pool & an adult only section called Tideway beach & it costs to enter.

There's the Snack Shack & Chill Grill which are options on the island for food while you are there. The Fries are amazing!

You can continue to explore the ship. Enjoy the hot tub & see some adult comedy & other activities the ship offers.

Then Nassu is on the island of New Providence & it's the Capitol of Bahamas.  I ate breakfast & went down the new port area. Nassu cruise port is one of the busiest cruise ports in the world.

Around the port there is Atlantis Paradise Island that's a massive water park & Baha Mar has more of the resort like feel and there's the beach. Most people like to stay close to the port where there's food, hair braiding & keepsake shopping. If you want to venture out & have the time to do so there's places on the west side of the Island to see like the Clifton National Heritage Park & the Islands Caves. Yet, again some stay near the port.

U.S dollars is accepted in Nassu. There's shuttles that you can take to help you get what you need. Taxis accept cash only.

You can venture out if you have the time, take a tour from a vetted tour guide.

Queens Staircase is simply beautiful historical landmark. There are 66 steps from solid limestone that create a direct path to Fort Fincastle, named in honor of Queen Victoria for her role in abolishing slavery, and it offers a short cut to Bennets Hill. The Queens Staircase also provides panoramic views of the land.

Bennets Hill is  the city's highest natural point and is close to the 126 foot water tower.

You can go to the straw market buy items and negotiate prices of the items that you'd want to purchase.

Then head to Junkanoo Beach and they have a free section of the beach which you can enjoy if you choose & then head back on the ship. Junakanoo has a museum. There's an ampitheater, a tiny boardwalk, & rest room areas.

There is tons of things to do on the ship & on the islands. There is a whole lot of fun weather it's solo, as a family, or as a party. Cruises are fun & amazing, and there's cruises for every budget. I had a blast on this cruise, and I know that you will have a blast on your next cruise.

California Travel Agent Expert

California has a soul, a laid back, classy & friendly soul. Where you can feel at peace & and find the notes of luxury hidden around every corner. It's an amazing destination.

Monterey County on the central l coast of California bordering the Pacific Ocean and the southern part of Monterey Bay and just two hours south of San Francisco.

Highyway 1 is a significant road for road-tripping around California, with long stretches and a peaceful freedom that comes with driving and the open road it's amazing to see the surrounding vast land & waters. It's along the coast where you can take in the views & get some amazing snapshots. Big Sur, along the coast, is a rugged mountainous stretch that meets the water and the ocean, and is simply stunning to see. The ocean is beautifully blue like a painting.

Then you cans see the Bixby Creek Bridge it's the most amazing photo spot around Big Sur. It's simply stunning, and then there is McWay Falls, a beautiful waterfall that drops on to the beach, they have a trail there but, it's been closed for a few years, McWay Falls is a breathtaking hot spot that you just need to see on a trip to California. It's a magical place. Nearby there is a lot to do from hikes, shopping & restaurants. You can find what you need or want on this journey. If time is a constraint, I'd recommend driving and seeing the sites.

There is a gorgeous patio restaurant on Big Sur, called Nepenthe. The view is unreal. They serve amazing drinks. Their Basket of French Fries is amazing, they make excellent Margaritta's and have great Wine. Their Grilled Chicken Sand-which is amazing yet, healthy option.

Carmel is an upscale beach town and it's a famous destination for the celebrities. It has a beautiful laid back vibe & there are art galleries everywhere.

Dur Ling Lane Art Gallery is one of my favorites and has once served as an studio to artist Thomas Kinkade. You can see a lot of his artwork displayed here. It's beautiful.

You can, surf, bike, play some volleyball, take walks with your furry family member, & I cant stress this enough surfing here is popular among locals & tourists alike. I enjoyed watching the surfers catch their waves. The views of this place is pure magic.

Carmel & Monterey are right next to each other & you can feel the vibes of each place. Carmel is upscale & has beautiful cottages whereas, Monterey is all about the legacy of the fishing industry & a humble town.

Fisherman's Wharf, in San Francisco is known for it's seafood stands and bustling atmosphere and marine-time history. There's cotton candy & popcorn stands and it's a family friendly place. Whale watching is a fun activity and it's something I enjoy when I am in the area. Discovery Whale Watch is right there along the pier like area, they take you out on the water to see the whales. You even see the dolphins in the water. It's amazing. You can possibly see Gray Whales & Humpback Whales. I usually get food before I take the tour.

Fishing is fun to do here, there are people that fish off of the pier. Pier 39 is famous for its vocal sea lions and street performers, and there's the Aquarium of the Bay which is a nice Aquarium for families to check out, and I would recommend going because it's fun to see for people of all ages, I thought it was quite charming.

Another Eatery to check out is The Sardine Factory, they are a bar, The Lounge area it's good for drinks and happy hour, & they have a garden like conservatory where you can dine & enjoy an amazing meal. They are very seafood friendly here. The Calamari is so soft and decadent & their sardines are cooked perfectly, It's garlic, tangy & acidic. They even have a berry sorbet delivered to you in an ice swan sculpture for dessert. Their Dungeoness crab is delicious, and their oysters, jumbo prawns and Ahi Ahi tarter is spectacular. This is a place where celebrities have dined like Clint Eastwood, where he has wine stored in his own locked box in the Wine Cellar.

Carmel Mission Basilica is stunning, the elements of Spanish architecture is simply stunning. The missions system was a chain of religious and colonial settlements along the coast & were founded by the Spanish to spread religion to indigenous peoples. It was built by a Catholic priest and missionary who is laid to rest on the church land. In settlement there are different living quarters, admin, & just unique structures to see. St. Junipero Serra is buried under the sanctuary floor here alongside fellow missionaries.

Not far from the church there is Mission Ranch, a local hotel & seafood restaurant that's in & outdoors set against a beautiful coastal backdrop. You can see meadows & sheep grazing to the beach. I'd recommend getting the ribs, it's one of my favorites.

Black Bear Diner is All American chain restaurant, with American comfort food. Their portions are amazing & their chicken fried steak is the ultimate comfort food.

California is a beautiful unforgettable destination that I love and hold close to my heart.

Northern Ireland Travel Agent Specialist

Northern Ireland is a place for everyone. Whether you’re a history buff, a nature lover, or a solo explorer, this corner of the UK offers a grand adventure at every turn. From the rugged basalt columns of the coast to the warm, flour-dusted "Baps" of a Belfast market, here is how to experience the heart of the North.

The North Coast: The Giant’s Causeway is a geological marvel of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. It’s a humbling experience that earned its World Heritage status in 1986. Expert Tip: Arrive early to beat the crowds; there is convenient parking at the Visitor’s Center and the Causeway Hotel.

If you have a head for heights, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is essential. Suspended 100 feet above the Atlantic, the crossing is a thrill that rewards you with breathtaking scenery. Nearby, Dunluce Castle clings to the cliffs as a haunting medieval stronghold, while the Old Bushmills Distillery offers a journey through the history of the world's oldest licensed whiskey producer.

The Belfast Culinary Experience: Belfast is a city that speaks through its food. To start your day like a local, head to The Mad Hatter. This hospitable café is famous for the Ulster Fry, a hearty plate of sausages, bacon, tomato, and pancakes, finished with a "dippy egg" and soda bread to mop up every last bit.

Little Italy, is a local pizzeria you must try. Delicious slices of heaven for the pizza lover.

Kamakura, is the place to try for their own authentic Ramen dishes.

The Market & Local Staples: If you’re visiting on a weekend or weekday it doesn't matter, St. George’s Market is an absolute must. They have everything. The Belfast Bap: For a massive appetite, this is the ultimate breakfast. It’s a huge, flour-dusted roll packed with sausage, bacon, eggs, and black pudding.

Dulse: For the adventurous, try this salted seaweed snack. It’s healthy, full of nutrients, and a true local favorite. You haven't truly visited until you've tried Tayto Potato Crips, they are local potato chips. Cheese and Onion is the iconic flavor that locals swear by. For a sweet fix, stop by Sawers, They have a 4.7 star rating,. Their sandwiches are delicious, but you must try a Fifteen. This local treat, named for using 15 of each ingredient like marshmallows, cherries, and digestive biscuits, tastes like a cherry-infused rice crispy treat and usually costs around $4.00. If you prefer old-school candy, The Old Time Famous Sweet Shop offers an array of nostalgic treats, some even iconic to Northern Ireland. For dinner, Darcy’s, in Belfast, is legendary for traditional Irish dishes with a modern twist. Their Lamb Stew is the definition of comfort food. It;s wholesome and hearty. If it’s Fish & Chips you crave, head to The Supreme for a Belfast Pastie,a local delicacy of minced meat and potato, battered and fried to crispy perfection.

The Rite of Passage: For the brew lovers, ordering a Guinness in Northern Ireland is a mandatory ritual. It’s an art form here, watch the "two-part pour" and wait the required 119 seconds for it to settle. It’s a smooth, creamy right of passage for any traveler. Maddens Bar and Kelly Cellars. Kelly Cellars offers music and seating indoors and outdoors to enjoy a good brew.

History and City Life: In the city center, The Titanic Belfast offers a powerful look at the lives of those who built the "Ship of Dreams."Logistics Tip: The Titanic Quarter gets quiet after 6:00 PM. For a livelier experience, stay near the city center or Belfast Castle. You’ll be within walking distance of the best "craic" at spots like Madden’s Bar, Brittles, or Kelly’s Cellars.

Hidden Gems :Beyond the city, the Dark Hedges (the "Kings Road" to Game of Thrones fans) is an enchanting tunnel of ancient beech trees. Legend says the Grey Lady still haunts the road, so keep your eyes peeled!

Further along the coast, Ballintoy Harbour and Caves offers spectacular wildlife and limestone views.

Lesson Learned: I truly regretted not having a professional camera at Ballintoy, the light hitting the caves is a photographer’s dream. Don’t forget yours!

A Legacy of Resilience In Londonderry (Derry), walking the 400-year-old city walls provides a panoramic view of a city defined by its history and its sustainable future. The murals of the Bogside remain a poignant reminder of the city's heartbreaking past.

Italy is a sensory masterpiece, whether you are exploring solo, traveling with a partner, or bringing the whole family. In Rome, the cobblestone streets lead you toward flavors you simply cannot find anywhere else. For a quick, "insane" bite, Pizza Florida is a must; they serve pizza al taglio (by the slice, sold by weight) with a crust that is impossibly crispy & airy. Their toppings are inventive—ranging from a decadent potato & truffle sauce to spicy salami that packs a perfect punch. For a sit-down experience, Osteria da Fortunata is legendary for a reason: you can watch the sfogline hand-roll your fettuccine right in front of you. It is the gold standard for authentic pasta. Equally popular is Tonnarello, where the Spaghetti alla Carbonara is served perfectly al dente and steaming hot. If you are hunting for the ultimate homemade lasagna, head to Vol. 17 Gusteria Pizza & Fritti, it's absolute perfection for any dedicated foodie. No Roman journey is complete without standing before the Trevi Fountain. To truly experience the magic without the crowds, visit at sunrise when the white marble and the roar of the Aqua Virgo aqueduct belong only to you & toss a coin over your left shoulder, to ensure your return to Rome, & if you’re looking for love. Just steps away, Mr. 100 Tiramisu offers a modern twist on tradition with 100 variations of the dessert. Their iconic pistachio version, paired with a glass of sweet Passito wine, is a treat even the kids will adore. While electric scooters are available, the best way to soak in Rome is on foot. Walking allows you to stumble upon the Nasoni (the city’s iconic "big nose" public fountains) to refill your water bottle with fresh, cool spring water. You can admire the Basilica di Santa Maria in its quiet majesty or wander the high-end boutiques near the Spanish Steps, marked by an ancient Egyptian Obelisk. For a touch of intrigue, visit Largo di Torre Argentina, the historic site of Julius Caesar’s assassination. In Rome beauty is at every corner.

Verona is far more than a backdrop for Shakespeare. While emulating the famous balcony scene at Casa di Giulietta is a rite of passage, the city’s true character emerges at its gateways. Entering through the ancient Porta Borsari, the limestone streets lead you into a culinary heartland where risotto is the undisputed king.To truly understand the local flavors, you have to look just outside the city walls to the Valpolicella wine region. This lush valley is the soul of Veronese gastronomy; it’s where the grapes for the rich, velvety Amarone are grown. Back in the city, the market hum of Piazza delle Erbe gives way to the more somber Piazza dei Signori, where Dante’s marble statue keeps watch over Italian history. For those seeking a perspective from above, the Torre dei Lamberti offers a panoramic look at the city’s terracotta rooftops. My favorite view, however, requires crossing the bridge to the Castel San Pietro. Take the funicular to the summit for a sunset drink as the city unfolds beneath you. Down in the valley, the Arena di Verona remains a living relic, hosting world-class operas under the stars. When it comes to dining, San Matteo Church Ristorante offers the unique experience of eating Amarone Risotto, a deep purple, savory dish infused with Valpolicella’s finest wine within a historic nave. For a quicker bite, La Bottega della Gina XXL serves incredible fresh pasta & close at 9pm.

Sicily: In Palermo, history is a sensory overload; street food markets sit around every corner, offering a gritty, delicious contrast to the Palermo Cathedral’s soaring views. Nearby, the Norman Palace houses breathtaking mosaics & intricate carvings that reflect the island's melting-pot heritage.Moving south to Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples stands as a hauntingly beautiful window into the Greek era. The Temple of Concordia, one of the best-preserved Doric temples in the world, is framed by spectacular views of the sea & rolling countryside. To truly grasp the scale of these ruins, the Pietro Griffo Archaeological Museum nearby is an essential stop to see the artifacts recovered from the site. The volcanic slopes of Mt. Etna offer a more rugged adventure. As Europe’s most active volcano, you can hike the craters or take a cable car for views that stretch across the coast. Afterward, cooling off at a local Etna winery is a must, the volcanic soil produces a distinct, mineral rich wine that is unique to this landscape. On the eastern coast, Taormina remains the island's crown jewel. Its ancient Greek theater is still used today, framing the stage against the backdrop of the sea and Etna. Below the cliffs, the nature reserve of Isola Bella is the perfect spot for a swim, while further west, San Vito Lo Capo offers turquoise waters tucked between dramatic mountains. Whether you are exploring sea coves or lounging on the sand, it’s easy to see why this coastline is a favorite of mine.

Italy is a place for everyone. Don't forget the camera!

Orlando is the undisputed theme park capital of the world, home to Sea World, Walt Disney World, EPCOT, and Universal Studios. But beyond the famous skylines, there is a city of incredible intelligence, both in its majestic wildlife and its world-class culinary scene. There is a specific kind of wonder that only Orlando can provide. At Sea World Orlando, the experience is truly spectacular. Watching the Orca whales perform is a reminder of just how brilliant these marine mammals are. Their strength and intelligence are a sight to behold, making it a standout highlight for anyone who appreciates the natural world.Of course, Walt Disney World remains the ultimate destination for families. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of walking toward the castle, wearing your own pair of Mickey ears, and meeting the characters that defined your childhood. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is one of my favorite rides. Getting a hug from Mickey and Minnie and capturing those photos are the kind of memories that stay with you forever, it's stayed with me. It’s a place where every conversation with a character feels like stepping directly into a storybook.

While the parks offer plenty of treats, the "real" Orlando food scene is where the city truly shines. If you want to eat like a local (or a critic), these are the spots you cannot miss:The Ultimate Brunch: Swine & Sons is my top recommendation for breakfast or brunch. You have to try the Chicken Biscuit. The way the sweetness of the honey pairs with a subtle spicy kick completes the biscuit perfectly. It’s the ultimate Southern comfort dish.

Michelin-Starred Excellence: For a more refined experience, head to Zaru. Having acquired a Michelin star in 2024, they specialize in Udon noodles that are simply to die for. The noodles have that perfect, authentic chew, and the dumplings are packed with a depth of flavor that is hard to find elsewhere. Don’t skip the Shrimp Tempura,it’s delicate, crisp, and delicious.

The Yakitori Experience: Right across the street from Zaru is Tori Tori, a vibrant Yakitori Pub and Grill. The atmosphere is fantastic, they even serve pork rinds and cheese at every table to get you started.Must-Tries: The Pork Belly is grilled to absolute perfection, but the star for me was the Grilled Chicken Wing skewers. They are juicy, smoky, and hit that perfect balance of sweet and savory, for the Brew Lovers, it is a great spot to grab a drink, pull up a chair, and enjoy the high-energy "pub and grill" vibe. There’s an unmistakable buzz in the air, whether people are cruising right along the sand or gathering for the legendary biker fests.

In Daytona, watching the race cars fly by at over 200 mph is a sensory overload.  The energy is electric, though I highly recommend bringing earplugs! To get the full experience, grab a corn-dog & a cold brew,it’s the unofficial meal of the track. I've stayed at a local hotel with a balcony facing the beach & the views are spectacular and scenic during the sunrise & sets at Daytona Beach, beautiful clear waters & views.

If you're hungry, head to Our Deck Down Under for their famous crab platter is a local favorite for a reason.Their dishes are mouth watering. For a meal with a view, Crabby Joe’s Deck & Grill sits right on the pier, letting you enjoy fresh seafood while watching the waves roll in.

Ginnie Springs: This is the spot for a high-energy "cannonball" into the water. It’s a favorite for holiday weekends like Memorial Day when the party vibe is in full swing.

Weeki Wachee Springs: Just 45 minutes north of Tampa, this is home to the spectacular underwater Mermaid Theater. Seeing the live mermaid shows is a nostalgic, magical experience for the whole family,a true Florida classic.

Crystal River: This is an absolute must for any adventurer. Even if you aren't a "fancy" swimmer, being in the water at Three Sisters Springs is unforgettable. Whether you kayak or take a guided tour, swimming alongside the "majestic sea potatoes",the Florida Manatees,it's a peaceful& life changing experience. For the best manatee sightings at Crystal River, visit between November & March when they seek the warmth of the springs. For a party at Ginnie, summer holidays are your best bet.

The Gulf Coast: White Sands and Sunsets,if you’re looking for the ultimate beach town, Clearwater Beach consistently tops the charts. With miles of sugar-white sand, it’s a paradise for everyone. I remember being that kid on the shore, collecting seashells & investing hours into building the perfect sandcastle. Today, you can still see families doing the same while enjoying volleyball or dolphin-watching tours.

The Everglades: No Florida journey is complete without the Everglades. This massive ecosystem of sea grass prairies and mangroves is a vital home to endangered species like the West Indian manatee and the elusive Florida panther.  It’s a reminder of the raw, untouched beauty that existed long before the theme parks, a place where the wild still rules.

Ohau Destination Specialist

While most travelers flock to the energy of Honolulu, I’ve found that the soul of Oahu truly reveals itself on the North Shore. It’s a place where the pace slows down, the lifestyle is laid-back, and the scenery is framed by the stunning Ko’olau Mountains. Whether you are looking for a daring adventure or a serene botanical escape, here is how I recommend experiencing the island.

The North Shore Experience: If you’re looking for world-class surfing, the winter months (December to March) are the time to be at Banzai Pipeline to watch the championship contests. For those who prefer calmer waters and a quieter atmosphere, I suggest visiting from mid-April to early June or September to mid-December.Stay: The North Shore offers a more intimate connection to the coast. You’ll find iconic stays like Turtle Bay Resort, the Marriott, or even the Four Seasons nearby. You must at least get in the water at least once, and relax on the beach, sun bathe, and watch the kids build sandcastles. Enjoy the beauty around you.

Getting Around: I recommend renting a vehicle (book well in advance!) to cruise the Kamehameha Highway. The ocean views are breathtaking and perfect for a quick photo op. I love this area, stunning and scenic, something you'd see on a postcard. If you prefer public transit, grab a Holo card for the bus, or use Uber and Lyft which are active in the area.

A Pro Tip on Funds: To avoid high exchange fees, grab cash from an ATM right when you land at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. While  in Waikiki cards are widely accepted, having cash is essential for the roadside fruit stands you'll encounter.

Unforgettable Adventures

Cage-Free Shark Dive: For something bold and daring, head to Haleiwa Harbor. Floating near sharks with expert watermen is a perspective-shifting experience you won’t soon forget.

Snorkeling: Sharks Cove is a local favorite for its shallow, clear water. If you didn't pack gear, there are shops nearby to buy goggles. For a more structured experience, Hanauma Bay is spectacular, but remember to make your online reservations exactly two days in advance.

Waimea Valley: Just across from the beach park, this former religious site is now a lush botanical garden. I love walking the cultural path toward the waterfall for a swim—just be sure to bring water shoes! Along the way you can see the beauty and you can watch a Hawaiian Hula Performance. The movements of the Hawaiians are beautiful and graceful. A spectacular performance.

Local Flavors & Island Bites: Oahu’s food scene is a highlight of any trip. Here are a few of my personal staples:

The Sunrise Shack: A bright yellow spot near Sunset Beach. Their coffee and banana bread are the perfect morning fuel.

Kono’s Haleiwa: You have to try their tender pork sliders and a milkshake for ultimate comfort food, that are a must try.

Matsumoto’s Shave Ice: No trip to Haleiwa Town is complete without a customizable shave ice to cool down while browsing the local art galleries, and the art galleries are simply beautiful, you can come home with the perfect keepsakes for yourself and others. The photographs I've taken with picture frames artfully made in Hawaii was the perfect keepsake for my trip.

Foodland Kaneohe: Don’t overlook the local grocery store! Their Poke is some of the freshest you’ll find, and it pairs perfectly with fresh coconut water. There's fresh local ingredients to make your own delicious dishes.

Kahuku Food Trucks: Visit the Kahuku Sugar Mill for a Terry Somoah Burger at Seven Brothers or the famous garlic shrimp at Da Bald Guy. You can take your plate next door to the Kahuku Beer Garden for a shaded spot to sit, and you can purchase a brew or a cold beverage from Kahuku Beer Gardens to cool down.

Scenic Hikes & Serene Spaces

Lanikai Pillbox: This is a short but steep 30-minute hike. I highly recommend going at sunrise; the uneven trail is worth every bit of the view.

Byodo-In Temple: A stunning Buddhist temple that offers a calm, serene space with beautiful koi ponds. Note: They are "card only" for the admission fee This place is beautiful, the whole family must see it.

Ho’omaluhia Botanical Garden: If you want to get off the beaten path, this is a photogenic, peaceful escape. It’s free to enter and open until 4:00 PM. It's a great open space for kids to play and for people to see.

Kualoa Ranch: Famous as a filming location for many movies, you can explore this landscape via zipline, horseback, or shuttle. There are tours and these tours tend to last 1-3 hours depending on the type of tour you reserved. The Horseback tour is one of my favorites, its slow, and connects you with nature in such a peaceful way.

Oahu is a beautiful balance of adventure and relaxation. Whether you're watching the green sea turtles at Laniakea Beach (from a respectful distance!) or hiking the Koko Tramway steps, there is a rhythm here that stays with you long after you leave.

Ocean City Maryland Family Fun Destination Expert

My recent trip to Ocean City, Maryland reminded me why it’s the ultimate East Coast beach escape. There is a nostalgic charm to the salt air and wooden planks of the boardwalk that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a classic summer postcard.

The Boardwalk & Beyond: I spent my mornings walking the 2.5-mile boardwalk, which is the true heart of the town. There is nothing like the smell of Thrasher’s French Fries in the air, and yes, the local rule is strictly vinegar and salt, no ketchup! These Boardwalk fries are my favorite. You must try these! I made sure to grab a tub of Fisher’s Popcorn for later which is a tasty treat! Then I stopped by Dumser’s Dairyland for a sundae that tasted exactly like a seaside summer should.Along the boardwalk there are arcades that are fun for the whole family. There's also many places to shop and purchase keepsakes.

Along the beach you can see elaborate sandcastle like design structures that are beautiful and kept up with. They are truly a work of art.

Ripley's Believe It or Not: This museum is on the boardwalk and like the book series, it has many optical illusions and oddities for people to see. It's a fun and unique museum to view.

For a bit of a thrill, I headed down to the Inlet at the south end:

Trimper Rides: This historic landmark is a must-see, especially the century-old carousel , and riding the rides is a wonderful way to have some fun.

Jolly Roger at the Pier: I rode the Giant Wheel just as the sun was setting, and the views of the Atlantic were absolutely breathtaking. Take a few good photos while on the Ferris Wheel, I recommend that you take photos while you're here. I've been here many times for family vacations and I adore Ocean City.

Adventure & Nature:One of the best parts of Ocean City is how easy it is to switch from high-energy amusements to quiet nature. I took a short drive to Assateague Island, where I was lucky enough to see the famous wild ponies roaming the dunes. It’s a stunningly beautiful, rugged contrast to the neon lights of the city. You can go into the lighthouse on Assateague Island and see the views from the top of it. I have been up here many times as a kid. I even have a picture with my cousin and sister- we got super sunburned on this trip, so bring suntan lotion.

Frontier Town: Located in Berlin, Maryland not far from Ocean City is a small little town that looks like you've stepped into the wild west. There's actors and staged shoot outs between folks dressed as cowboys and Native Americans. There's camping nearby where you can stay in, if you want more of the western type of vacation. There's cabins and hotels around as well. I've been here as a kid and loved it!

Sports Enthusiasts: People can body board and surf, fly kites, they can go fishing there are nearby boating services that can take you on the water.

Back in town, I explored Northside Park at 125th Street. It’s a massive 58-acre space that’s perfect for a long walk, and if you're there during the holidays, their Winterfest of Lights is a magical walk-through experience.

A Foodie’s Bayside Paradise: While the boardwalk snacks are iconic, the bayside dining is where I found some of my favorite meals.

The Ritual: You can't visit Maryland without a crab feast. I headed to Higgins for some classic steamed blue crabs—it’s a messy, delicious tradition that I look forward to every time. There's also Hoopers which has a buffet all you can eat seafood boil, it's a little pricy but delicious and good to do at least once.

Bayside Vibes: I caught a sunset at Macky’s Bayside Bar & Grill. Sitting with my feet in the sand while enjoying a meal was the perfect way to wind down.

Local Specialty: I also made a stop at Harborside in West OC to try the original Orange Crush,it’s refreshing, citrusy, and a total local staple.

Traveling with My Furry Family members is important and when you can bring pets it makes caring for them easier. Pets are such an integral part of the family, I love how inclusive Ocean City can be. While the beach and boardwalk are reserved for people during the peak summer months, I found that visiting in the off-season (October through April) is a dream for dog owners. I seen some people walk the shoreline with their pups and enjoy the crisp ocean breeze together. Also during the off season activities and things around are much cheaper than during the busy spring and summer months.

During the summer, the 94th Street Dog Playground was a lifesaver for those who have a furry family member, offering a safe, fenced space for some off-leash fun.

Practical Bits:I found that getting around is a breeze. I used the "Coastal Highway Beach Bus" which runs the length of the town, so I didn't have to worry about parking. Whether I was playing a round of dinosaur-themed mini-golf at Old Pro or browsing the Tanger Outlets for some deals, Ocean City delivered a trip that was both relaxing and packed with fun. It’s a place that truly welcomes everyone, and I already have my next visit penciled in.

New York Destination Specialist

New York City is truly the city that never sleeps, and my recent trip there was a whirlwind of neon lights, incredible food, and views that took my breath away. From the moment I stepped into the bustle of Times Square, I knew I was in for an unforgettable journey.

Cty Views & Urban Escapes: I spent a lot of my time exploring the city’s incredible parks and heights. Walking through Central Park was a highlight,I made sure to find the Bethesda Fountain and the iconic Belvedere Castle. For a completely different vibe, I headed over to the High Line, an elevated park on an old railway line that offers amazing city views and unique greenery. When it came to seeing the skyline, I tried a few different perspectives:Summit One Vanderbilt: This was a total adventure! It’s a multi-sensory experience with glass mirrors and art installations that felt like stepping into the future.Top of the Rock: I loved the three-level platform at Rockefeller Center; it’s a dream for photography.

The Classics: I couldn’t miss the Empire State Building or the One World Observatory for those sweeping, "top of the world" feelings. The Empire State building was my stepping stone to tackling my fear of heights. I was so afraid going up that elevator but, the view is magnificent, and frightful for people like me. But it's a must try. I checked that off my bucket list of places to explore. It's just an iconic place that people need to see. The One World Observatory gives you feelings like you are standing on the top of the world. It's an unforgettable experience.

History & Cultural Landmarks: I started one of my mornings at The Battery, where the waterfront views are stunning. I took the ferry out to see Lady Liberty and visited Ellis Island. It was a deeply personal experience exploring the National Museum of Immigration, where I actually got to look into family immigration records.Back on Manhattan, I visited the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, a moving tribute that really puts the city's history into perspective. I also made sure to stop by Grand Central Terminal to admire the historic architecture and the New York Public Library to see the original Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals,a must for anyone who grew up with the stories!

Museums : The American Museum of Natural History is a must see. Fun for adults and kids. There are amazing exhibits, dinosaur structures, and various animal displays. This is a an event the whole family can enjoy! I loved it!

A True New York Food Tour: You can't go to New York and not eat your way through the boroughs! I found that the food is amazing, and it doesn't always have to be expensive.

The Staples: I grabbed a thin, fold-able slice at Joe’s Pizza on Carmine St., the pizza is amazing. After Pizza I  braved the lines at Katz’s Delicatessen. The pastrami sandwich is a bit pricey, but it’s huge and well worth it. Now, I must inform you that since they are a bit pricey, that they do give you a lot of meat and it forms a decent sized sandwich that you can split with someone or have leftovers for later, so the sandwich's are very filling.

Market Eats: In the Chelsea Market, I had the best tacos of my life at Los Tacos No. 1. Now, I love Tacos. This place knows how to make an authentic taco. You've got to try it. It's mouth-watery goodness.

Sweet Treats: My personal favorite was the Salted Caramel cheesecake at Eileen’s. It's simple, sweet and decadent. For something lighter, the banana pudding at Magnolia Bakery is amazing, the locals love it.

The Classics: I even made it out to Coney Island for a Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog on the boardwalk.

Exploring the Neighborhoods: I loved the contrast between the different areas. I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge for the pictures and explored DUMBO, (Down Under The Manhattan Bridge) where I got that perfect shot of the Manhattan Bridge with the Empire State Building framed in the background.

At Coney Island: People can explore the boardwalk & ride the Carnvial like rides and ride the Cyclone roller-coaster, there's tons of Carnival like activities for the whole family.

There's 5th Avenue where you can stroll around and shop around at the shops and boutiques that sell an array of things from toys to apparel and even electronics.

Parks: In Brooklyn, I found Prospect Park to be a hidden gem; it has endless paths for walking and a great splash pad for kids to cool down.I even took the Staten Island Ferry, which is free and runs 24/7—to get out on the water, and rode the Roosevelt Island Tram for a cable car view of the city. I was browsed the Harry Potter Store. You must see the Harry Potter store if you are a fan. You can have  a glass of  butter beer, shop for wands and  merchandise. Harry Potter Fans must see it! You can take beautiful photographs near the Flatiron Building, I did. I even watched the street performers at Washington Square Park, there was never a dull moment. New York really is a melting pot of everything, and I can't wait to go back! It's an amazing expierence.

Singapore Destination Specialist

Welcome to Singapore! a place where futuristic efficiency meets a vibrant melting pot of cultures. Often called the "Garden City," this destination is world-renowned for its cleanliness, safety, and incredible hospitality. Whether you're here for a quick layover or a deep dive into Southeast Asia, here is my personal guide to navigating this urban paradise. The Journey Begins at Jewel Changi. My adventure always starts at the airport, which is a destination in itself. Jewel Changi is home to the breathtaking Rain Vortex, the world's largest indoor waterfall set within a lush rainforest.

Pro Tip: Terminal 1 has a swimming pool, Terminal 2 offers a music listening area, and Terminal 3 features a butterfly garden. There is also a caopy bridge that you can walk across- there is a fee for that. There is also sky nets there that you can walk across.

Logistics: Skip the lines by using the Automated Clearance Initiative (ACI) app for your paperwork. If your country is eligible, the e-gates make entry a breeze, just tap, scan, and you’re through in about 30 minutes!Getting Around Like a local. Singapore is incredibly easy to navigate without a rental car.The MRT & LRT: Fast, clean, and efficient. The MRT and LRT is their subway. It’s the cheapest way to get from the airport (Terminal 2) into the heart of the city.

Grab: The go-to ride-share app (similar to Uber). Just download it, and you can have a ride in mere minutes just at your fingertips.

Walking & Exploring: Orchard Road is a shopper’s dream with 20 malls in a row, while Haji Lane offers unique artwork and market vibes.

Island Hopping: You can even catch a ferry to nearby Malaysia or Indonesia for a day trip.

A Foodie’s Paradise: The Hawker Culture-you haven’t experienced Singapore until you’ve eaten at a Hawker Center. These organized hubs are where the street food magic happens. They call each little vendor area stalls. Which comes from having these vendors that have once been on the street, selling their food. In an effort to clean up the city, Hawker Centers were created.

My Favorites: I can never resist the Chilli Crab at Gluttons by the Bay or the legendary Tian Tian Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Center. For something unique, try the "Carrot Cake" (a savory radish stir-fry) at Food Opera.

Hawker Etiquette: It’s first-come, first-served. Look for a table, note the number, and be sure to clear your tray when you're finished to avoid a fine!

Must-Try: Satay (meat on a stick) at Lau Pa Sat in the Central Business District.

Gardens, History, and Wildlife Gardens by the Bay: You must see the Supertree light show at night. The Cloud Forest dome mists every two hours, creating a magical atmosphere.

In the Mood for a Hike? The Southern Ridges: If you enjoy hiking, this 2.5–4 hour trail connects several parks and offers stunning views from Mount Faber.

Sentosa Island: For thrill-seekers and sun-soakers, this is home to Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, and Siloso Beach. There's fun around for the whole family. On Siloso beach, there's a little food bar like area and a music entertainment area for those that enjoy the night life. I loved it! You can get to Sentosa Island by cable car, there is a cable car that goes over Mount Faber, the views are breathtaking from inside the cable car. I recommend bringing a camera. You can also take a Taxi.

History: Visit the Battle Box at Fort Canning to explore an underground WWII bunker and learn about Singapore's resilient past.

Top Travel Tips for Your Stay Climate: It’s hot and humid year-round. Carry an umbrella for sudden tropical downpours and do your outdoor activities in the morning & have a towel handy for drying wet hands.

Money & Power: Most places take cards, but keep some cash for smaller hawker stalls. Don't forget a British-style plug adapter and a voltage converter.

Casinos: There are two Casinos in Singapore. Marina Bay Sans is one of the casinos and inside there is also excellent food and shopping to be done inside, and the other casino is in Resorts World on Santosa Island. You can get into the Casino’s for free, but you must show the Casinos your passport and your immigration email that you get upon every time you enter and exit the casino. The locals get charged $150 upon entering the Casino’s to discourage locals from gambling. It’s not loud like LA or Vegas. It's a very quiet and serious setting.

Laws: Singapore is very strict with their laws. Littering & smoking can result in fines. doing drugs prior and even smuggling drugs there is punishable by death so, follow their laws please.

Cultural Respect: When visiting the beautiful Mosques, remember to remove your shoes & dress modestly (covers are often provided if needed). The Casinos: Entry is free for tourists with a passport and immigration email, but expect a very quiet, serious environment compared to Vegas!Singapore is a city that moves fast but stays rooted in its heritage. Pack your walking shoes, your appetite, and get ready for an unforgettable journey!

Carins Austrailia Beach and Rainforest Expert

Touching down at the international airport, the humid, sweet air of Cairns hit me instantly, a welcome change of pace. I found that this city is a perfect blend of contrasts; whether you’re looking for high-end luxury hotels or the social buzz of a backpacker hostel, there’s a corner here for everyone. I timed my visit for the "dry season" between May and October, which was a brilliant move. The tropical heat mellows out into a mild, golden warmth that’s just perfect for exploring. Life in the City Cairns itself has such a laid-back soul. I spent my first few afternoons wandering the boardwalk and taking in the views from the Ferris wheel. You quickly learn the local rules, though: the ocean here belongs to the crocodiles and stingers, so I headed straight for the Saltwater Lagoon whenever I needed a cool swim. For a closer (and safer!) look at the locals, the Cairns Aquarium was a highlight, showcasing everything from the vibrant Great Barrier Reef to the dense mysteries of the Rain-forest.

Eateries : The food scene here is a total sensory overload: Rusty’s Market (Fri–Sun): I lost myself among stalls of vibrant tropical fruits, local coffee, and fresh bread.

Cairns Night Markets: My go-to spot for browsing trinkets and souvenirs under the neon lights. You can also get fresh fruits and coffee here. There's much to explore.

The Flavors: I had some incredible meals, from the fragrant rice dishes at Bayleaf Balinese Restaurant to the fresh rolls at Sushi Paradise. My most unique find? Curry & Pizza, where I actually had Indian-Italian fusion tacos,it sounds wild, but it was savory and delicious, and you can enjoy pizza there as well.

Coastal Gems and Island Dreams: While the city center doesn’t have its own beach, a short drive north feels like entering a postcard. I spent a day at Palm Cove, watching the wave chasers surf, and another at Trinity Beach, which is much calmer and offers stunning mountain views. For total peace, I escaped to Ellis Beach; it’s only 20 minutes from town but feels like a private paradise of palm trees and silence. Of course, you can't come here and skip the water.

The Great Barrier Reef: I hopped on a reef cruise from the harbor for a day I’ll never forget. Fitzroy Island: A 45-minute ferry ride dropped me at Nudey Beach. Don't let the name fool you,it’s just a stunning, white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. Snorkeling there felt like swimming in a giant, blue aquarium.  Into the Wild: Port Douglas and the Tablelands Heading an hour north, I reached Port Douglas. It’s a bit more upscale, filled with boutiques and the sprawling Four Mile Beach. If you’re there on a Sunday, the Port Douglas Markets are a must for local arts and crafts. To see the "Green" side of Australia, I headed inland: Moss-man Gorge: I hiked through the ancient rainforest and took a dip in the cool, clear river. Atherton Tablelands: This lush plateau west of Cairns is waterfall heaven. I did the circuit of Zillie, Ellinjaa, and Millaa Millaa Falls, feeling like I was in a movie. The Curtain Fig Tree: Seeing this massive tree draped in a "curtain" of vines was a humbling reminder of just how powerful nature is in this part of the world. From the vibrant street food to the hidden rain-forest pools, my time in Far North Queensland was more than just a vacation,it was a total immersion into a slower, more beautiful way of life.

Nature & Activities: The nature in Carins Austrailia is simply beautiful. There are many good sites for a photo op. Take a photo by a waterfall, or lounging by the Great Barrier Reef, or on the Ferry ride there. There's even wildlife to be seen. It's simply a beautiful place to see. You can even get crafts from local artists from the markets on the weekends. Music Festivals and cultural celebrations happen here. From July - September they have the Carin's Show which is in July. There's fireworks, rides and wood-chopping, and animals to see! There's also their Indigenious Art Fair that's held at the Cruse Liner Terminal, and there's the Carin's Festival with fireworks, parades and concerts. They have a Father's Day BBQ to and plenty of Markets to visit and live music. They have tons of activities to do during anytime of the year.  Through October - December there's their Halloween at Edgehill Newsagency with spooky themed displays, and Taste Port Douglas with their food festival that showcases famous chefs and beach front feasting, and Christmas Carols and Santa visits on Esplandade, and New Years Festivities all night long. There's lots to do in Carins Austrailia. There's River Rafting and Whale watching, and Rain-forest Tours, and fights that go over the Great Barrier Reef. There are many activities for the solo adventurer or for family fun. There's a lot to enjoy here that'll keep you coming back year round. I know I love this part of the world, and I hope you get the chance to explore it too.

Exploring Pennsylvania feels like walking through a living gallery of American history, where the cobblestone streets of our nation’s birthplace give way to the rolling hills of the endless countryside. As a traveler, I’m drawn to the way this state balances its deep, colonial roots with a vibrant, modern energy.Where History Meets the Horizon My journey often begins in the heart of the Historic District in Philadelphia. Standing before Independence Hall, I’m struck by the weight of the stories held within its red-brick walls. I love wandering through Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the country, imagining the generations of artisans and trades people who walked these same stones.Artisan Markets and Local Traditions I believe the best way to know Pennsylvania is through its local makers and its soil. The Public Market Experience: No trip is complete without a morning spent at the Reading Terminal Market. I’m always on the hunt for authentic regional flavors—from hand-stretched Pennsylvania Dutch pretzels to the perfect slice of shoofly pie.Countryside Charm: Moving west into Lancaster County, the pace slows. I find so much beauty in the local artisan markets and roadside stands where the craftsmanship of the Heritage communities is on full display, from intricate quilts to hand-hewn furniture.Natural Escapes and Architectural Wonders Pennsylvania’s landscape offers a quiet power that’s hard to find elsewhere.Mountain Retreats: Exploring the Pocono Mountains or the Allegheny National Forest allows me to reconnect with nature, whether I'm chasing waterfalls at Ricketts Glen or finding a scenic nature reserve for a quiet family picnic.Design in the Wild: One of my favorite intersections of architecture and nature is Fallingwater in the Laurel Highlands. Seeing how the structure integrates with the waterfall is a master class in organic design. For me, Pennsylvania is a place of discovery—where a morning can be spent in a world-class museum and an afternoon can be lost in a forest or a centuries-old market. It’s a destination that invites you to slow down and appreciate the details.

Nashville, Tennessee Travel Agent Advisor

They say Nashville is a city built on stories, and every time I pull into town, I feel like I’m adding a new chapter to my own. My relationship with travel has always been a blend of professional curiosity and personal wonder. With a background in the hotel industry, I can’t help but notice the perfect weight of a lobby door or the way a concierge anticipates a need before it’s spoken, but in Nashville, I’ve learned to let the music take the lead.Finding Harmony in the Streets For me, a morning in Nashville starts in 12 South.

I love the contrast of the crisp Tennessee air against a warm cup of coffee as I wander past the local artisan shops. There is a specific kind of craftsmanship here, from the hand-poured candles to the bespoke denim, that reminds me of the artisan markets I’ve explored across the globe.I’m drawn to the architecture that bridges the gap between "Old South" and "New South." I’ve stood in the shadow of the Parthenon in Centennial Park, marveling at its classical symmetry, and then found myself an hour later in The Gulch, surrounded by the glass and steel of a city that is racing toward the future. It’s that duality, the reverence for the past and the hunger for the next big thing, that keeps me coming back.

The Culinary Composition: If you want to find me, look for the local specialty markets or the small, family-owned bistro tucked away in East Nashville. While my palate was shaped by a love for Italian traditions, the slow-simmered sauces and the art of a perfect tiramisu, find that same soul in Nashville’s kitchens.I’ve spent afternoons mapping out the city’s best "hidden" tables. There is a deep, smoky complexity to Tennessee barbecue that rivals any regional dish I’ve tasted, but I also love the modern, ingredient-driven menus that are popping up in Germantown. Whether it’s a perfectly executed plate of local trout or a creative twist on a southern staple, I’m always looking for the chef who treats their ingredients like a songwriter treats their lyrics.Travel That Includes EveryoneMy adventures are rarely solo. I’ve always believed that the best memories are multi-generational, and Nashville is my favorite playground for that.

I’ve navigated the halls of the Country Music Hall of Fame with family in tow, watching as the neon lights and glittering costumes spark the same wonder in a child as they do in a grandparent. And, of course, no trip is complete without my four-legged companions. I’ve scouted the best pet-friendly trails in the Warner Parks, where the hardwood forests offer a quiet sanctuary from the Broadway bustle. Seeing my dog’s excitement on a trail in Radnor Lake is just as important to me as a front-row seat at a songwriters’ round. To me, "family travel" isn't a category, It’s a requirement.

Thailand Travel Agent Specialist

Airports: There are two airport systems if you arrive into Bangkok. There is Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK )it's the main airport. It's modern and huge and well connected, their second known airport is Don Mueang Airport (DMK) Don Mueang uses lower budget airlines. The two airports are not nearby each other at all. There is also an airport in Phuket (HKT) called Phuket International Airport and is a much simpler airport hub. Phuket is in southern Thailand. So, you might want to be aware of the airports in Thailand. It seemed confusing at first for me but, by the time I left it made perfect sense. Entry is straight forward and Thailand uses  Thailand Digital arrival card when entering. There's a code to scan and you are on your way. Please complete their arrival card form on their offical website before going. It's free to complete. Your passport must have 6 months of validity, if not you won't be let in to Thailand. If you overstay your visa, you will be forced to pay about 15 dollars per day but, it can cause problems and understanding these elements can make your expierence go smoothly. I reccomend using Yessim for access to your phone, it' an esim that requires no make shifting your phone. It's just a download and can make technology a breeze.

Transport: Use Grab for getting around, Taxi and Bike and it's used for food delivery. Bolt and InDrive are also good apps to use and you can negotiate fares with the drivers. Google Maps, and get an app called air visual if you arrival and smoky season. Lazada and Shope are apps where you can order things to your hotel door. These apps are helpful to to navigate a stay in Thailand.

Kao Sok National Park: To get there you have to fly in and stop at Chow Lan Lake which is a man made lake that reaches into the park. You can also get to the lake by bus, or train depending on where you are. The park area offers stunning scenery & turquoise waters. You are surrounded by intense and beautiful landscapes that sweep the area. After boating for a bit, you will see a tall rock formation called the three sisters. There is also Pra Kai Petch Cave which you can walk in and check it out and see the bats inside. There are also several floating hotels of sorts on the water where you can stay at too, that offers a unique experience. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife. You might even see elephants along the ocean shore.

Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island : Its an iconic island and it's simply amazing. Getting to James Bond Island you'll need to have someone get you there by boat. After a little bit of boating Reaching the island its nice, and a bit busy. There you can get drinks and a quick bite to eat, on the way back I viewd Payne a 200 year old fishing village.

Samet Nangshe Viewpoint :It's a lookout, to get there you pay for a shuttle up a steep road and at the top you are rewarded to a truly memorable panoramic view of the island below. I'd recommend bringing a camera.

Bangkok: Chao Phrya River and the W-at River are beautiful to see. The city life in Bankok is explosive. Skyscrapers and busy city energy flow through Bangkok.

The Grand Palace: Is the most popular attraction in Bangkok, it was the royal residence for generations and is still used for royal assemblies today. It's simply exquisite. The highlight is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It's colorful and it closes early in the day. I would recommend going a few hours before it closes because it's less busy at that time.

Reclining Buddha at Wat Po: A few blocks from The Grand Palace and the trip can be combined with the activity of seeing The Grand Palace. It's one of Bangkoks oldest Temples and has a reclining Buddha that is 46 meters in length. It's super tall. You can even see some Buddhist ceremonies.

Lumpini Park :  A lush green oasis away from the hustle of the city of Bangkok but the skyscrapers aren't far off. It offers paths to walk on, playgrounds for the kids and an artificial lake that you can boat on.

Just be aware that around the park you will see Asian Water Monitor Lizards.

Floating Market: Located on a series of canals you can get some keepsakes and food to take with you.

Chang Mai & Doi Inthanon : Another city area and it's famous for it's elephant sanctuaries and it's many temples and has the area called Doi Inthab

Places I recommend: Rongro's in Phra Nakhon, Bangkok has excellent cocktails and food that's reasonably priced. They have 4.7 stars. Their spring rolls, Pad Thai and Fish cakes are delicious. There is outdoor seating.

The Family, they have 4.8 stars, their Shrimp Pad Thai is excellent, and people love the Tom Yum Soup. They are in Bangkok.

There is also Bangkok 56 with 4.5 stars, they give good portions for their prices. They are at 1917 Paxton St. #2962 try their Thai Tea and their Panang Curry Shrimp.

Restaurants accept cash only. Just keep that in mind.

Street Food : You will find street food stalls all around the city center. There is delicious affordable food and desserts to try.

The locals are hospitable and kind, and the food is simply delicious. Texas is a place for family's and it carries it's own charm. Texas is a land of incredible contrasts, and no trip is complete without venturing into the high-altitude ruggedness of the west. Here is an updated version of your vacation bio that weaves in the majestic peaks and desert vistas of the Texas mountains.

Texas is a wonderful place to visit, and Austin is known as the live music capital of the world. They have hot summers and mild winters. August is usually the hottest time of the year to visit. Spring & Fall would be ideal because it's the coolest time of the year for the diverse state of Texas.

Texas Sate Capitol: It's the second largest capital building next to the state capitol in DC. It's visable from all over. The architecture is stunning and it's free to view.

Lady Bird Lake: A scenic resivour in the heart of Austin, Texas. It stretches for 416 acers. Hiking & Biking & even paddle boarding around & along Lady Bird Lake are popular ways to enjoy the stunning surroundings of Austin.

I’m a traveler who believes that the best way to discover Texas is one step at a time, wandering through historic squares and finding the hidden stories tucked away in every corner.

The Heart of My Journey

Mountain Majesty: I find my peace in the high desert of West Texas. Whether it’s watching the sun dip behind the Chisos Mountains or hiking the trails of Guadalupe Mountains National Park, there is something humbling about standing at the "Top of Texas." The crisp mountain air and the ancient rock formations are the ultimate escape

The Great Outdoors: Give me a morning hike through limestone canyons or a sunset walk along a historic riverfront. I prefer to skip the fast-paced transport and take my time exploring the scenery on foot to truly appreciate the landscape.

Inclusive Adventures: I believe a great vacation should be comfortable for everyone, including our four-legged family members. You’ll usually find me scouting out the best pet-friendly patios and scenic trails where the whole family can relax together.

Culinary Experience : I’m always on the hunt for the perfect plate, whether it’s a slow-cooked authentic brisket from a local smokehouse, a stack of handmade tortillas, or a slice of warm apple pie.

Frankilin BBQ is one of the city of Austin's popular BBQ spots. People wait in line just to taste the deliciousness that Franklin BBQ has to offer.

Bali Travel Agent Advisor

Bali is a place that is continuously evolving, a vibrant blend of ancient tradition and modern energy. For me, it truly earns its reputation as the "Island of the Gods." If you're planning a journey here, I’ve put together a few of my favorite spots and some essential "know before you go" tips to help you navigate this paradise.

Sun, Surf, and Waterfalls:My journey usually starts where the land meets the sea. Kuta Beach is a stunning stretch of sand; while you’ll see natural driftwood washing up, it remains a beautiful space and the ultimate playground for surfers. If you’re a beginner looking to catch your first wave, this is the place to do it.For a change of pace, head inland to the Tegenungan Waterfall. It’s a breathtaking sight, but keep these tips in mind:Hours: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM.

Pro Tip: Go early in the morning! By the afternoon, the heat brings out the crowds.

There are local shops where you can go and see surf instructors that can teach you how to surf, if its a good day.

The "Cash is King" Rule: You’ll need about $2 USD (in Rupiah) for the ticket booth. Cards aren't widely accepted here,or in many parts of Bali,so always carry cash.

What to do: Walk down the steps to feel the mist, or head to the Glass Sky Bridge overhead for a luxury view. Don't forget your swim trunks; you’ll want to cross the bamboo bridge and get into the river. There’s even a spring with holy water where you can experience the local spiritual connection to the land.

Spiritual Immersion: You can’t visit Bali without experiencing its temples. TirtaEmpul (which means "Holy Water") is a sacred spring created by the god Indra over 1,000 years ago.

Note on Respect: When visiting temples, you must wear a sarong. Don't worry about packing one; they provide them at the entrance and must be worn as a sign of respect.

At TirtaEmpul, you can see the spring bubbling up from the earth into a "Holy Pond." While the water is used for ritual purification pools, I'd suggest admiring the beauty rather than drinking it! Afterward, wander through the nearby markets for local snacks and crafts.

The Heart of Ubud:If you're looking for a home base, Ubud is my top recommendation. Known as the "Village of Medicine," it’s a hub for healing and inspiration.

Tegallalang Rice Terrace: A relaxing, breathtaking space where you can watch farmers harvesting rice. For the adventurous, there are rope swings that make for an incredible photo mid-air.

Ubud Palace: An inspiring site steeped in history. Legend says the King still resides there, and it’s a magnet for those who love ghost tales and stories of medicinal healing.Ubud Market: Located right across from the palace, this is the spot for keepsakes and local treasures. If you get hungry, look for the BBQ stall inside the market, it's a local favorite.

Places to eat like a local :  Nasi Tempory Indra, In It can be crazy busy. They make a drink called Es Jeruk Manis it’s a sweet and tart orange drink. They have 4.5 stars and are popular in the area. They have spicy sambal to try. They have a duck dish that is fried called Nasi Tempong Bebek and has a rich flavor, and it’s all made fresh, fried fish dish called Nasi Tempong Ikan Laut and it’s flaky, crip and delicious.

Another place the locals love is Ayam Betutu Kulwagara , The Ayam Betutu they have fried and roasted with chicken. The chicken is super flavorful and tender. Their Sambal Malta is refreshing. Their Chicken Sate has a strong flavor a lemongrass and garlic flavor that's amazing. The Ayam Bebtutu Kampung is delicious, juicy, and the marinade is packed with flavor. They have a 5 star rating. Any piece of chicken you get will be delicious. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

There is also places where you can go grab mexican and get a taco, or japanese restaurants where you can eat inside, cool off and enjoy their dishes. There's even fusion places to try.

Family Fun : For Family fun the Bali Zoo is a must. Beyond the animals, they have an indoor adventure park that offers a beautiful, immersive experience to keep the little ones entertained while escaping the midday sun.

Final Travel Advice: Bali is a place of rivers, rainforests, and ritual. Come with an open heart, a pair of walking shoes, and plenty of cash in your pocket!

Las Vegas Travel Agent Specialist

Whether you’re looking for high-stakes thrills, world-class dining, or neon-soaked history, I’ve found that Las Vegas is a desert playground that truly never sleeps. From the classic charm of Fremont Street to the futuristic glow of the Sphere, here is my personal guide to the best of the city.

My Top Sightseeing & Photo Ops

The Sphere: I love that this tech marvel is attached right to The Venetian. Whether I'm catching an occasional show inside or just watching the lights at night, it’s beautiful, and tickets can e purchased for the fun events that they offer. Going to a show offers am entertaining and fun experience.

Seven Magic Mountains: This is like a "Vegas Stonehenge." The stones are tall, colorful, and easily the best place for a unique picture. It's a great place to see, and collect those fun memories with loved ones and your trip companions, or memories that are just for you to keep.

The High Roller: I recommend this for the view, it’s 550 feet tall, and one cabin holds about 40 people! It's a giant Ferris Wheel that gives each person a wide panoramic views of Las Vegas and the city below, where people look like ants below. It's a unique and fun experience that won't ever be forgotten.

Bellagio Fountains: It’s a classic for a reason. I like to watch the free water show while dining at the restaurants nearby. It's beautiful and even something for kids to see and enjoy.

My Thrill-Seeker Recommendations

The Stratosphere: I head here when I want to go to the very top for the rides & the view. The rides are fun, and something unique to do on a trip in Vegas.

The Big Apple Coaster: You can find this on the second floor of the New York-New York; it’s a blast weaving through the "skyline."

The Golden Nugget: If you're downtown, you have to try the H2O Slide. You actually slide through a scenic aquarium filled with fish and aquatic life!

Area 15: This is my favorite immersive playground. It’s great for kids (& adults) because you can choose your own experience pass for scavenger hunts & art shows, and other entertaining experiences that make a vegas trip amazing.

Fremont Street: I love the energy here. It’s a condensed walking strip where I can go ziplining or hop between casinos, there's boutiques & shops, & places to get a keepsake from your vacation.

Where I Eat

Fine Dining & SteaksBazaar Meat: Located near the Palazzo/Sahara area, the tasting menu here is fancy and fantastic.

Andiamo: This Italian-American steakhouse has  amazing service. I always get the lobster bisque,& I love that every steak is paired with pasta. It makes a spectacular & filling meal.

High Steaks at the Rio: I highly recommend the seafood tower & the glazed bacon. They even have a vegan steak & a patio with a great view of the city.

Global Flavors & Local Eats

Le Thai: I head to Fremont East for their tri-colored curry and the pork jerky with waterfall sauce. It's flavorful & tasty, your taste buds will thank you for this meal. I enjoyed eating here.

Soul Valley BBQ: In the Arts District, their pork belly is to die for. I usually grab the "Platter for 2" which comes with 6 meats and 6 sides, & can be shared with a traveling companion. The meat is juicy and flavorful.

Happy Camper: This is my go-to for chill vibes and drinks. I dream about their tavern-style pepperoni & ricotta pizza with hot honey. It's wonderful & fresh and I enjoyed the chill atmosphere that the Happy Camper is.

With Love Always: When I’m in Centennial Hills, I stop here for a smash burger, loaded fries, & a dipped ice cream cone. After your meal, the dipped ice cream cone is delicious and you can get three scoops of deliciousness. They have seasonal flavors & year round flavors that are all tasty and good to try! People say that they love the butterscotch flavor. I am more of a chocolate & caramel type of person. It's all amazing.

If it's a fine dining experience that you crave, along with seafood. Head over to Pisces, great service & amazing food. The Crab Cigars & Piella is amazing.

My Great Escapes

Valley of Fire: When I need a break from the neon, I head here. It looks like a red, Mars-like version of the Grand Canyon.

Helicopter Rides: If I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll take a tour that goes as far as the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam. It's nice to see the world overhead span out from an view from up high. It's a unique experience.

The Venetian: I still love taking a gondola ride through the canals,it’s such a vibe. It's like Italy has came to the Vegas area & it gives you something fun & romantic to do. You can fall in love with someone your with or fall in love with the Vegas area and the  scenic views.

Container Park: It’s a great spot for me to just walk around, shop, & grab a quick bite.

All Vegas trips need a photo op at the famous Vegas Sign where people take their photos for social media and for memories of their adventure in a busy, fun city.

My Local Tip: To get around, I usually hop on the Monorail, but if I’m feeling fancy, I’ll rent a limo to cruise the Strip in style.

Antartica Travel Agent Expert

Antartica is a beautiful place of sapphire ice, penguins and untouched beauty that is breathtaking to see.

The Expedition Experience:Traveling to Antarctica is a master-class in raw, untamed beauty. Whether navigating the infamous Drake Passage or waking up to the serene, mirror-like waters of Neko Harbour, every moment feels like a scene from a high-definition nature documentary.

Wildlife Encounters: There is nothing quite like sitting quietly on a pebbled beach while curious Gentoo and Chinstrap penguins waddle past, or watching a Humpback whale breach just meters from your Zodiac boat.

The Landscape: The scale is impossible to capture in photos. From the towering peaks of the Lemaire Channel to the surreal shapes of tabular icebergs, the continent is a gallery of natural ice sculptures.

The Polar Plunge: For the truly adventurous, diving into the near-freezing Antarctic waters is a rite of passage that provides an adrenaline rush like no other.

Polar Gastronomy: You might expect freeze-dried rations, but modern Antarctic expeditions are surprisingly epicurean. Since you can't bring food onto the pristine land, the culinary scene happens entirely on the water.

Expedition Cuisine: Many modern ships feature world-class chefs who prepare multi-course meals, think freshly seared scallops, Argentinian steaks, & decadent Tiramisu, all while you drift past glaciers.

Culinary: People in Antarctica eat primarily in research station cafeterias, which serve as community hubs for staff, with McMurdo Station which is the largest and Concordia Station which serves five star quality food and Rothera Research Station hosting most diners. Meals are prepared by professional chefs, featuring a mix of frozen, canned, and fresh foods, with Sunday brunches being a highlight. Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station provides high-calorie, nutritious food to maintain staff energy in extreme temperatures.

Pro Tip: Bring a waterproof camera to capture the majestic moments of the Orcas coming up for air, or the penguins that waddle around on the snow. You'll also need hat, gloves and scarfs to help protect yourself against the cold.

Humpback Whales: Often the "show-offs" of the Southern Ocean, these giants are known for breaching and bubble-net feeding, a spectacular cooperative hunting display.

Orcas: Witnessing a pod of apex predators slicing through the slush ice in tight family units is a humbling experience.

The Rare Sightings: Keep your binoculars ready for the sleek backs of Minke whales or the massive presence of the Fin whale, the second-largest animal on Earth.  Polar Barbecues: One of the most iconic experiences is an al fresco barbecue on the ship’s deck. There is something surreal about enjoying grilled delicacies and a warm glass of mulled wine surrounded by 1,000-foot ice walls.

The "Bergy Seltzer" Cocktail: For a true local touch, many ships serve cocktails chilled with glacial ice. Because the ice is so compressed, the air bubbles trapped inside "pop" as they melt, making a unique fizzing sound that has been thousands of years in the making.

Historic Bites: While you can't dine at research stations, visiting historic sites like Port Lockroy gives you a glimpse into the past, where "Sledging Biscuits" were once the height of luxury.

Kayaking in Silence: Gliding through the ice in a sea kayak allows you to hear the subtle "white noise" of the glaciers and occasionally encounter a curious seal or whale at eye level.

Citizen Science: Many expeditions now invite guests to participate in real research, such as counting penguin populations or tracking whale fluke patterns to assist global conservation efforts.

Flying the Drake: If you're short on time (or prone to seasickness), "Air-Cruises" now allow you to fly from Chile directly to King George Island, skipping the two-day crossing and landing you straight into the heart of the adventure.

Pro-Tips: Go in January for penguin chicks, but wait until late February if whale watching is your top priority.

The "Secret Season": Consider a March voyage for the most dramatic sunsets, golden light on the ice, and the best chances to see the Aurora Australis.

Sustainability: Choose operators that prioritize IAATO guidelines to ensure your visit has a minimal footprint."Antarctica leaves you with a profound sense of stewardship. You don't just visit; you return as an ambassador for its protection."

Why I Recommend the Great White South: Antarctica is a destination for the curious, the bold, and those who seek to disconnect from the modern world. It is one of the few places left on Earth that feels truly prehistoric and untouched. As a traveler, I focus on the "slow" moments, listening to the "white noise" of crackling glacial ice (known as Bergy Seltzer) and reflecting on the incredible resilience of the life that calls this extreme environment home."Antarctica leaves you with a profound sense of stewardship. You don't just visit; you return as an ambassador for its protection."

If you think Arizona is just sand and heat, let me show you the Phoenix I’ve fallen in love with. My days here are a mix of rugged trail dust, high-end relaxation, and some of the best food I've ever tucked into.

The JW Marriott is a stunning place to stay in Arizona. I love it. It has a lazy river and a golf course for enjoyment. It's like a resort there. If it's a resort that you want there a few resorts in Arizona, but the best thing to do is renting an RV and seeing Arizona's rugged beauty during the sunsets and sunrises, and the open sky full of stars late at night. It's simply beautiful.

The Great Outdoors:I spend a lot of my time chasing views. Papago Park is my go-to for a "nature in the city" fix.I love hiking up to The Hole in the Wall for that perfect panoramic photo. If I'm feeling ambitious, I’ll head to Camelback Mountain or take the "wild drive" up to Dobbin’s Lookout at South Mountain Park to see the three mountain ranges glow at sunset. For something a bit more advanced, the Blue Wash Hike never disappoints. When I need to cool off, the water isn't hard to find. Along these walks you see the nature of Arizona, the cactus's and the rugged beauty that simply belongs to Arizona in all it's uniqueness.

On the water: Kayaking the Salt River, taking the Desert Belle cruise on Saguaro Lake, or just lounging on a boat at Tempe Town Lake. You can jet ski on Saguro Lake which offers a lot of fun & excitement.

In the gardens: Walking through the Desert Botanical Garden to see how much life actually thrives in the heat.

City Vibes & Hidden Gems: When I want to pick up the pace, I head to Old Town Scottsdale. It’s the perfect spot for nightlife, high-end golf, and finding that perfect keepsake in the local shops. I love the vintage, old-school feel of the Melrose District, especially during their car shows.I'm also a huge fan of the unique history here. I’ve explored Taliesin West, marveled at the Mystery Castle (built by a father for his daughter), and even paid my respects at Governor Hunt’s Tomb, that curious white pyramid overlooking the zoo. To truly step back in time, I’ll drive out to Goldfield. Goldfield is where miners used to mine for gold, trying to strike it big, it's fascinating to see. The experience there has a whole Wild West feel, it's great for families to see. I enjoyed visiting the Tortilla Flat on the Apache Trail, it was fun and good exercise. Having a camera handy is ideal, because you'll want to remember this trip and the beauty that simply is Arizona.

I'd highly recommend seeing the Phenonix Art Museum it's fun and give you a lot of insight about the history of Phenonix, & Arizona as a whole.

Where I Eat & Drink:You can't talk about Phoenix without talking about the food. My perfect day looks like this.

Morning: A giant coffee at Tres Leches Cafe (perfect for dipping pastries!) or a Cubano at Fillmore Coffee Co.
Lunch/Dinner
: Finding a spot for authentic Mexican fusion or heading to Pizzeria Bianco for the "Rosa" pizza. Olive & Ivy has mouth watering brazed short ribs that comforted my heart and made me happy. Bobby Barb-Q Restaurant and Steak house has food that arrives to you fast, the barbecue is amazing.

Pro tip: Skip the valet and find street parking & please bring sunscreen & an umbrella to combat the sun & have shade from the heat, & have comfortable shoes to hike around in, & swim shoes when swimming in lakes makes moving around easier. Remember in areas there is wildlife, so be careful.

Snacks: The cauliflower bites & chowder fries at Neighborly are non-negotiable.

Nightlife: Sipping on ginger mead at Superstition Meadery or playing games at The Dark Messenger, which is the ultimate spot for gamers (not video games per se but, fun wholesome games that bring people closer) & their food is excellent, and their brews are delicious.

There's non IPA, non- alcoholic drinks featured at many bars so, it's safe to get a tasty drink and drive. Being Bar has them, and the Lacuna Kava Bar is an excellent bar with an amazing attentive staff.

Shopping: There is the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, it's a beautiful mall and has name brands that we all know and love.

There are plenty of spots along route 66 where you can get that perfect photo and enjoy keepsake shopping.

Culture & Fun: Whether I’m catching a Suns game, wandering through the Musical Instrument Museum, (It's my favorite museum in the Arizona and it's worth a visit) or supporting local artisans on First Friday, of the month. You can see them work and see their stunning works of art,  there is always something happening in the area. From the Ostrich Festival in the spring to the Renaissance Festival and Country Thunder, where everyone can enjoy the country music tunes and atmosphere. The energy here is unmatched.

Phoenix isn't just a destination for me; it’s an experience. It's where I can scale a cliff in the morning and be at a modern art gallery by sunset. It’s wild, it’s beautiful, and there’s always something new to discover.

Paris isn't just a destination; it’s a feeling I’ve captured in the morning light at Trocadero & the glowing streetlamps of the Latin Quarter. My journey through the City of Light is a blend of royal history and modern whimsy, starting with the manicured Jardin du Palais-Royal. I love wandering through the striped Buren columns before heading to the Jardin des Tuileries to walk the same paths as French royalty, Pro tip: the Musée de l'Orangerie inside is a must, and if you time it for the first Sunday of the month, admission is free!

Iconics and Elegance: Nothing beats the sophistication of the Champs-Élysées. I can spend hours admiring the architecture and popping into boutiques like Tiffany’s,Nike, and Gucci. For the best views of the "Iron Lady," I always head to Rue de l’Université or walk the magical Pont Alexandre III. Of course, no trip is complete without the Eiffel Tower itself. Take in the views and enjoy the beautiful weather. I know I did.The elevators are small and can be a bit cramped for some people but, I highly recommend doing this at least once, you must go in and see the Eiffel Tower. It's spectacular! I highly recommend booking in advance to sip champagne on the second floor or taking the lift to the very top to see Paris laid out like a map.

Art, History, and the Macabre:I’m a sucker for the stories held within these walls, Les Invalides: Where I paid my respects at Napoleon’s tomb.Musée Rodin: A peaceful retreat filled with sculptures and stunning gardens (note: it’s closed Mondays!).The Conciergerie: A sobering look at where Marie Antoinette spent her final days, and you learn somuch about the French Revolution.Les Catacombes: It's a self guided tour with audio to learn interesting facts from. There's bones that surround you, and alot of history to listen to. Good for the history buff. It's very unique. Descending into this underground labyrinth is chilling and fascinating, bring a jacket and wear comfortable shoes! Afterward, it’s a quick 20-minute walk to La Tour Montparnasse for a 56th-floor panoramic view that helps you get your bearings. Bohemian Dreams in Montmartre. Montmartre has a soul of its own. I love the energy of Place du Tertre, watching local artists at their easels, and finding "Instagram-worthy" hidden gems like the steps of Rue Maurice Utrillo. I always make time for the Musée de la Vie Romantique for free art and a quiet tea in the garden cafe. As the sun sets, the vibe shifts, the Moulin Rouge lights up the night, & the local nightlife becomes electric.

The Louve is spectacular with the artwork, it has famous works like the Mona Lisa, & amazing works of art.

Eatery's: A.LaCroix is a pastry shop, they have specialty pastries that are delicious. The pastry that I got, looked like an apple, and when you ut your fork in it, it has a creamy delicious center and tastes like an apple pie. It's close to the Notre Dame Cathedrail.

McDonalds: France has their own franchised McDonalds. This is a good pick for kids, as they know & love this fast food eatery.

Bistro Des Champs : Have excellent Mac 'n' cheese, Their Fish & mussels are good as well as their fish & chips, they're in front of a building that looks like a giant suitcase.

Good News: A Cafe that has excellent pastries that pair well with your morning coffee.

Pate Pelle Museum: Its free and built in the 1900's with amazing works of art and they have a space for kids to work on their own art. There's an inner courtyard with a garden and cafe.

The Oblisk : It was gifted to France by Egypt in 1831. It's the oldest monument in Paris, you must see it. I love it.

They have Macroon making classes: You can meet your instructor, choose your flavor, and you get to try them and take home a box of Macroons at the end of the class.

You must get a Baggette. It's a must have while in Paris.

There are Farmers Markets to see. Every single place here is amazing.

There's local playgrounds for kids to explore

Local Life and Hidden Gems:When I want to relax like a Parisian, I head to Canal St. Martin to picnic and people-watch by the water. I also find peace in the Jardin des Plantes or browsing the shelves of Shakespeare and Company, imagining Hemingway tucked away in a corner. To end a perfect day, I hop on a Seine River Cruise on a weekday to avoid the crowds. There’s nothing quite like eating a fresh French crêpe while watching the city sparkle from the water, passing by the resilient towers of Notre Dame & the breathtaking stained glass of Sainte Chapelle, it's a tiny but beautiful church, you really have to go upstairs to fully experience the chapel. It's a holy relic. You can learn about the stain glass & the stories that they stand for.

There's an Opera House & there's the Opera Garnier it has a grand staircase, and the theater is done in magic & luxury. There's a chandelier above & tickets for shows must be gotten in advance.

It's such a fun place to see and explore. Soak in Paris, France's beauty. It's a trip to remember! I loved it.
