Cabo San Lucas Travel Agent Specialist

There can be no doubt that Cabo San Lucas is a must visit destination in Mexico.  After all, Cabo is the place famous French explorer, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, called the “Aquarium of the World”.  No matter how many times I visit Cabo, I am always blown away by its beauty, and I every time I find something amazingly new and exciting to keep me going back.

Cabo San Lucas is a modern and sophisticated destination located on the southern tip of the Baja California Sur state in Mexico, on what is known as the Baja California peninsula, separating the Pacific Ocean from the Sea of Cortez.  When people mention “Los Cabos” they are talking about the whole area, which includes Cabo San Lucas, the neighboring city San Jose del Cabo, and the 20 mile stretch between them, called “The Corridor” or “Golden Corridor” which is where most of the resorts, beaches and golf courses can be found.

There’s always something new to discover in Cabo San Lucas, and the variety of options make it one of the most popular places in Mexico. You can swim with the dolphins, and surprisingly you can ride camels on a desert safari.  If you have a need for speed, zipline over mountain canyons, or drive ATVs over rugged trails.

Cabo is an ideal location for anyone planning to holiday in a hot and sunny location since Cabo San Lucas logs more than 340 days of sunshine a year.  Many of the Cabo San Lucas beaches have been designated as Blue Flag Beaches, an award given to communities that promote environmental education and stewardship, making them some of the best vacation spots in the world.

The city has miles of white sandy beaches with Medano Beach being one of the most popular, home to the world-famous Mango Deck.  Another favorite is Solmar Beach, which is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches you will come across while on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Other beaches worth visiting include Playa Acapulquito, Playa Chileno, Playa Palmilla, Costa Azul Beach, and Bahia Santa Maria.

For the romantic at heart, Playa del Amor, or Lover’s Beach, has spectacular caves, rock formations, and clear tropical waters.  Next to Playa del Amor, you’ll find Pelican’s Rock, a popular snorkeling location where visitors can view colorful tropical fish that have thrived in the marine sanctuary.

If you love the outdoors, a glance at the ocean will tell you is Cabo San Lucas worth visiting. The sparkling water stretches out to the horizon, but the real treasure lies under its surface. While snorkeling or scuba diving, you’ll discover a whole new world filled with tropical fish, sea turtles, and even sea lions.

Sunset is always a magical time of day in Cabo, but viewing the majestic beauty of a sunset from a sailboat makes it all the more special. Whale watching is also one of the best things to do in Cabo.  Most commonly seen are grays and humpbacks, and blue whales, sperm whales, and orcas have been spotted.

For many travelers, food is the main reason why Cabo is so popular. Famous amongst foodies the world over, the magnificent culinary scene found in Cabo San Lucas is poised to take your dining experience to the next level.  The local cuisine includes delights such as seafood, steakhouses, international, and fusion Cuisine.  While you can find everything from sushi to pasta in Cabo, the city is best known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and fresh seafood. After eating, try local drinks like Damiana liquor, Tequila, Mezcal, and local seasonal fruit liquor.

One of the reasons to go to Cabo San Lucas that all sorts of travelers can agree on is the city’s vibrant nightlife. Whether you want a live DJ and light show at a nightclub or live rock music at a downtown bar, there’s no limit to what you’ll find in Cabo.  Some of the spots where you can let loose include Squid Roe, Cabo Wabo, Mango Deck, Nowhere Bar, and Jungle Bar. Thankfully, moving from one entertainment location to another is typically easy.

To sum it up, nature has truly blessed the entire region around Cabo, which is filled with breathtaking scenery sure to set the perfect scene for a vacation of a lifetime.  I look forward to giving you a such an amazing vacation to Cabo San Lucas that you will never want to leave.

Cancun Travel Agent Specialist

It’s hard to find another Mexico destination that can rival Cancun, with the stunning beaches, endless outdoor activity choices, cuisine to die for and of course the vibrant nightlife.  Whenever I think of my many trips to Mexico, Cancun always brings back amazing memories, and I hope everyone gets a chance to experience this paradise at least once.

Cancun is considered to be the heart of the Mexican Caribbean, with its gorgeous turquoise seas, powdery white-sand beaches, and vibrant coral reefs, it’s no surprise that Cancun is one of Mexico’s most popular resort areas.  While Mexico boasts an impressive 6,200-mile-long coastline, Cancun and its 10 Blue Flag beaches continue to rank as one of the most popular spots for a beach vacation in the country.

Hotels, restaurants, malls, and nightclubs line either side of Boulevard Kukulkan, known as the Hotel Zone, which runs down the middle of the 15-mile-long sandbar. This is where you’ll find many of the city's all-inclusive hotels catering to families on vacation or couples on their honeymoon and everything in between. With most of the properties in the Hotel Zone sitting right on their own private stretch of sand, you can enjoy the ocean views from your very own balcony.

The coastline in Cancun is unparalleled in beauty, condition, and opportunity for all different activities.  Cancun is home to more than 11 beautifully unique beaches for you to choose from. Check out Playa Chac Mool if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing experience or visit Playa Delfines where locals guarantee a dolphin sighting or two.  Also worthy of note are Tortugas Beach, Las Perlas, Tulum, or Mamitas Beach in Playa del Carmen.

Fans of snorkeling love Cancún because it sits on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second-longest coral reef in the world. Snorkel or dive at the Cancún Underwater Museum of Art to see some of the 470 underwater statues.  You can also spot endless varieties of marine life, and the water is warm, so you never want to get out.

For all you nature and adventure lovers, Cancun is a playground with an unlimited amount of things to do and see. Dive or snorkel in the region’s mystic cenotes located nearby, or enjoy the day by the beach, jet skiing or parasailing. And, if you are an adrenaline junkie, you can check out Playa Chac Mool or Cozumel Island for the best breaks in the region!

If you really are looking to stay mellow, you can relax at the beach bars and restaurants in Cancún, or head farther south to find quieter stretches of sand at Puerto Morelos, Akumal and Tulum. It’s picture-postcard stuff, with white sand and palm trees everywhere.  Cancun is also the kind of place where it’s encouraged to lounge in the sun or spa, or spend a day at one of its seven different golf courses, admiring the gorgeous views of the water while practicing your swing.

If you’re a culture vulture or a history buff, Cancun is in a very history-rich area of the peninsula. During the Mayan period, the Yucatan Peninsula was a very important area dotted with religious, trade, and cultural centers.  Visit the Mayan Museum of Cancun, home to hundreds of artifacts uncovered at some of the most prominent archeological sites on the Yucatan peninsula.  Then be sure to check out the archeological sites that pepper the surrounding region, such as El Meco, El Rey, San Miguelito, Cobá and Muyil and finally Tulum, the only known Mayan city which sits by the Ocean.

For you foodies, in Cancun you can benefit from some of the most exceptional chefs in the world. Cancun is renowned for its delectable cuisine and is home to some of the best restaurants in the region, including restaurants that overlook the Caribbean Sea and the beautiful Nichupté Lagoon.  These restaurants serve haute cuisine dishes featuring sophisticated atmospheres, the best service and some special performances, mariachi bands, DJ´s and dance shows.  If you want to you could sample a new cuisine each day of your vacation; from traditional foods to cutting edge fusions, high end restaurants to cute and quaint street food stands, you can find it all in Cancun.

Of course, you can’t talk about Cancun without mentioning the vibrant nightlife.  Cancún is synonymous with good times. There are bars and clubs everywhere, and you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to venues for a night out.  Make sure to check out The City Cancun, the largest nightclub by area, or Dady'O Cancun, which holds 80's and 90's parties every weekend.  And if you are looking for some fun outside the city, take a 2-hour ride to Tulum, where the parties literally don't stop.

No matter what time of year you visit Cancun, or how long you will stay, there are plenty of reasons to visit.  The gorgeous beaches, great weather, and amazingly clear and clean waters are huge pulls, but Cancun has so much more to offer you.  With my help, I am sure you will have the best vacation of your life!

Puerto Vallarta Travel Agent Specialist

While every trip I have taken to Mexico has been special, Puerto Vallarta is definitely in the top 5 of my must visit getaways.  Whether I was taking a family vacation there, or a more private siesta, Puerto Vallarta always proved to be one of the best times of my life.

Puerto Vallarta is one of the world’s most exciting and beautiful tourist destinations in Mexico.  Located where the lush green Sierra Madre Mountains meet the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, Puerto Vallarta is one of the most magical places along the coastline of Jalisco.  The place is untouched by capitalism and is one of Mexico’s most charming as well as enticing coastal destination.

Puerto Vallarta is a product of Mexican culture and lifestyle, as the city’s landscape is embedded with various elements defining the vibrant cultural identity.  There are unlimited options in Puerto Vallarta to appreciate the regional culture with the local arts, music, cuisine, festivals as well as many other cultural events.

Visitors love to spend their vacation on the sparkling beaches, go on a shopping-sprees in the quirky shops, lodge into the stylish restaurants, roam around the scenic streets, take on the exciting diving trips, take bumpy horseback rides and partake in the exciting nightlife.

Puerto Vallarta is a perfect destination for adventure, as there is an unlimited supply of outdoor activities and events. There are plenty of activities that you can indulge in to satisfy your adrenaline drive including boating or kayaking, jet-skiing and parasailing.  Puerto Vallarta offers a wide variety of water sports to spend a spectacular day filled with excitement and fun. The beach never disappoints the viewer and always provides a beautiful and relaxing sunset, where the colours and the clouds combine to give a calm conclusion to the day.

For the underwater lovers, give scuba diving a try and you can discover the richness of marine flora and fauna that inhabits these blue waters. In addition, whale watching in Puerto Vallarta is a good sport if you’re looking for some lively swimming acrobatics of the largest mammals who ever lived on earth. Humpback whales begin to come during November and disappear by early April. December has the most active viewing of whales, as males compete for female attention for mating.

For you foodies, one of the tastiest reasons to visit Puerto Vallarta is along the cobblestone streets, where authentic street tacos and homemade Mexican dishes will delight your palette.  Fish tacos, grilled octopus, and shrimp ceviches are some of the fresh options at most restaurants and taco stands. While Mexico is famous for its sizzling fajitas and spicy tacos, fresh produce is available all year long in Puerto Vallarta, so it’s easy to jumpstart your day with slices of pineapple, mango, papaya, and oranges grown locally. With so many options, there are several food tours that show you the best Puerto Vallarta locations for authentic Mexican food, and some of the top restaurants are at the all-inclusive resorts.

Another wonderful bonus to Puerto Vallarta is the abundance of festivals. Vallarta Cup is a race in Banderas Bay, while the Sayulita Festival is an event filled with music, dance, food, wine, movies, concert, surfing and yoga sessions. Vallarta wine fest, Puerto Vallarta Taco Festival, Vallarta Azteca International Folklore Festival, Restaurant Week, Navy Day, Punta Mita Beach Festival and Festival Gourmet International are some of the many festivals celebrated in Puerto Vallarta.

The all-inclusive resorts in Puerto Vallarta are one of the best options for first-time visitors as they provide the guidance newcomers may need.  Spend your day splashing in the waves with your kids, or sipping a glass of wine at sunset with your partner. As the all-inclusive resorts occupy a large portion of the tourism industry, make sure to book your resort far in advance, as the competition is fierce amongst the highly popular ones. They are customer-friendly and will address your requests promptly. Some resorts even offer child-care facilities so the parents and the child both can have a good time.

With so many exciting things to do in Puerto Vallarta, it is the perfect suited option for your next Mexico Vacation.  If you want to take a break from your daily routine and are looking for a distant beachside paradise in Mexico, I highly recommend Puerto Vallarta, and I promise with my help your trip will be perfect in every way.

Las Vegas Travel Agent Specialist

As a Las Vegas travel agent advisor, I can tell you that no city buzzes 24 hours like Vegas. About 40 million people stream into the city annually. Many tourists spend time on the Strip, or the legendary 4-mile road that is also known as Las Vegas Boulevard. The street is home to characterful casinos and large downtown resorts. However, Las Vegas is more than casinos, entertainment, and fine dining. The area is also home to beautiful canyons and exciting day trips to Red Rock Canyon, Hoover Dam and the west and south rims of the Grand Canyon. I can arrange a great itinerary for you - one that includes all the excitement that spells L-A-S V-E-G-A-S. While some travelers love to shop at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace, others like to see the outskirts and desert scenery. For a short trip, I might suggest, as your travel agent, that you enjoy an alfresco lunch at Paris in Las Vegas or visit the Botanical Gardens in Bellagio. A ride by monorail to City Center is the way to go on a warm summer day. Also, don't forget to stroll by the fountains at Bellagio while en route to a Cirque du Soleil show.  The excitement continues with a helicopter ride to Grand Canyon West and a visit on the Skywalk - a see-through platform that allows you to see down into the Canyon's depths. However, because the Strip makes Vegas such a compelling attraction, you will, in most instances, spend more time downtown.  Downtown attractions include Caesars Palace, the Mirage, Las Vegas Flamingo, New-York-New York, Luxor, just to name a few. Las Vegas is not just the world's gambling capital, it also boasts entertainment, foods, and attractions galore! Foodies love this city as well. Some of the world's best chefs work in Vegas at exclusive venues, such as Serrano, Nobu, Scarpetta, and the Bouchon Bistro.  Entertainment headliners include Celine Dion, Britney Spears, and Elton John. Beat the bank playing baccarat or place a bet at the roulette wheel. Both winning and losing can be fun when you visit the Vegas strip. Why travel abroad when you can see the city's themed architecture - from New York City to Paris to Venice to Egypt. Call me today and let me, as your Las Vegas travel agent advisor, arrange a once-in-a-lifetime Vegas holiday. Contact me by email or phone and I will get back to you immediately.

Sedona Travel Agent Specialist

During the 10 years I lived in Arizona I visited some amazingly beautiful sites, but to this day, my favorite destination, hands down, is Sedona.  From the majestic red rocks, to picturesque nature trails or the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, Sedona has something for every type of visitor.

What is also great about Sedona is that it is a perfect getaway all year round.  Since Sedona is a desert region, it enjoys more than 300 days of glorious sunshine, even during the winter. In fact, many believe that winters in Sedona are more beautiful than summers.

If you are an outdoors lover, Sedona is a paradise with spectacular scenery at every turn, endless hiking and mountain biking trails, rivers, waterfalls, swimming holes and jeep tours for those who do not want to do all that walking.

Sedona is also internationally known for the uplifting power of its Vortex meditation sites. Millions of people each year visit Sedona solely to experience the metaphysical connection of being at a vortex and the feelings of peacefulness, calm and energy.  The 4 major Energy vortexes in Sedona are Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Airport Mesa and Boynton Canyon.

Most people do not know that there are also a handful of vineyards dotting the hillside just out of town.  The Verde Valley wine trail passes through several local vineyards, including Alcantara Page Springs, Oak Creek, and Javelina Leap.

For all you art lovers, Sedona has an impressive art scene which reflects the inherent beauty of the area and Native American history.  The Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village is filled with works from local artists as well as a wide variety of Native American jewelry and crafts.

I sincerely hope that everyone gets a chance to visit Sedona at least once.  It really is an awe-inspiring experience, and I never felt more at peace in my life than when I was there.  I know that I will make sure your trip to Sedona is the best ever, and a time you will never forget.

Grand Canyon Travel Agent Expert

I love representing the Grand Canyon as a travel agent professional. You won't find any natural attraction on earth like this deep ravine. People remember the experience all of their lives. I believe the Grand Canyon truly embodies the West with its panoramic views and dusty canyon paths. While everyone has seen pictures of the Canyon on-screen and in publications, you really cannot experience its grandeur unless you visit this iconic natural landmark on vacation. While you can find stunning views on the South and West rims, the South Rim, located in Grand Canyon National Park, offers some of the most memorable overlooks. Let me arrange a trip where you can savor the beauty of the Grand Canyon from one of the park's hotel patios or get a taste of the area's splendor on an inner Canyon hike. Even if you only walk a short distance below the rim, you will truly appreciate the silence and splendor of this geologic site. The raw desert climate and peaceful terrain provides you with a multi-sensory experience. If you really want to learn more about the formation of the canyon, you can get your questions answered on the South Rim. Visit the Yavapai Geology Museum or the Trail of Time for the answers. If you want a more hands-on experience, walk the Canyon and get a closer look at the fossilized creatures and ferns. You can find out more about the Canyon's history by taking part in a ranger-led talk or hike. One of the popular accommodations in Grand Canyon National Park is the Grand Canyon Lodge, which was opened for business in 1928. The original building caught fire and burned to the ground in 1932 and was rebuilt in 1937. At that time, staff at the hotel welcomed and said goodbye with a welcome song and farewell song for guests. If you love to hike, I recommend, as your travel agent advisor, that you journey from rim to rim. The classic rim corridor descends via the North Kaibab trail on the North Rim. During your trip, I'd suggest making a reservation at the Phantom Ranch or camping at the Bright Angel Campground at the base of the Canyon. If you cross the Colorado River, you will ascend the Bright Angel trail to the South Rim. You can also take the route in reverse by ascending the North Kaibab trail. However, you don't have to love hiking to visit the Grand Canyon, as the park offers plenty of shuttles to get from one place to the next. Drop in at stores and enjoy the historical buildings in Grand Canyon Village. You can also go by train when visiting the Canyon - a fun way to visit the area and see the natural surroundings. Let's talk about your trip to the Grand Canyon today. Give me a call or email me so we can start planning your Grand Canyon adventure now!

Jamaica Travel Agent Specialist

Whenever I hear a Bob Marley tune streaming in my ears, my mind instantly goes that that magical place, Jamaica!!!  The birthplace of reggae and jerk, the Rastafari movement and some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, it’s no wonder to many, Jamaica is the heart of the Caribbean.

More than another other Island, Jamaica is really a state of mind. No rush, no stress, just an easy-going vibe with a lot of music, singing and dancing.  Reggae tunes make you jump out of your chair and dance and sing like a real Jamaican.  In addition, Jamaicans are very helpful, spontaneous, friendly, and their positive attitude makes you feel right at home.

As the third-largest island of the Caribbean, Jamaica is hard to cover in one trip. Rather, it's best to choose your activities and vacation priorities, and then decide where to stay.  Of the three main tourist pockets on the island, westernmost Negril is popular for its beaches and upscale accommodations; northwestern Montego Bay is well-liked by golfers; and Ocho Rios in the northeast appeals mostly to adventurous types who might be interested in climbing waterfalls like Dunn's River. Some visitors choose the eastern area of Port Antonio to try the top-notch surfing at Boston Beach, the hiking along the Blue Mountains, and the river rafting along the Rio Grande.

Jamaica is a paradise for beach lovers, home to some of the Caribbean’s most famous beaches. Near Ocho Rios are two of the best-known beaches in the world.  Seven Mile Beach in Negril, consists of a highway-long strip of platinum sand, backed by palm trees and five-star hotels.  James Bond Beach, the backdrop of Dr No, is a touristy beach surrounded by clear waters on three sides. It has water sports centers, bars, restaurants and a variety of accommodation. Moreover, James Bond Beach, is an area where jazz and reggae artists also exhibit their skills. For those who want to enjoy sun, other notable spots include celebrity favorite Frenchman’s Cove and the lively Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay.

Aside from the beautiful beaches, one of the best parts about Jamaica is the Blue Mountains area north of Kingston. The region has the world’s second largest butterfly population and was recently included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The area is covered with walking trails, including a hike that takes you to the top of Jamaica’s highest point, Blue Mountain Peak, 7,402ft above sea level. This part of the island is a coffee heartland, too. Coffee farms are dotted all over, and many of them welcome visitors for guided tours and tastings.

Another gem of Jamaica is Dunn’s River Falls, a magnificent waterfall flowing above the country’s Ocho Rios city. One of the most famous waterfalls in the Caribbean, white water cascades down a 180ft flight of natural rock stairs. Visitors can climb the stairs, stopping to soak in natural pools and shower in the falls’ foamy water along the way. If scaling the falls isn’t adventurous enough for you, there’s also a zip-line circuit that features seven zip-lines and four hanging bridges.

But if one great waterfall isn’t enough, there is also Mayfield Falls, a community of waterfalls that come from the 21 wide-spaced little waterfalls on the Mayfield River. Moreover, you can see the excellent waterfalls flowing in the bosom of the lush vegetation cover from the surrounding suspension bridges. Furthermore, this area of natural beauty, which people often use to cool off, is one of the most important holiday destinations in Jamaica.

What could top waterfalls?  Well, how about some of the most amazing caves in the world like Green Grotto Caves.  Located on the northern coast of Jamaica, these caves have turned into one of the country’s major tourist attractions. Its predecessor is known for its many different names such as Runaway Bay Caves, Hopewell Caves and Discovery Bay Caves. While only 12 meters deep, the length of the cave is 1,525 meters is almost a mile!

For the history buffs out there, who can forget Port Royal, the legendary port city, has remained an important symbol of Jamaica for nearly five hundred years. Furthermore, the legendary pirate city was founded in 1518; it was considered to be the most desperate city in the world at a reasonable level. For many years corruption and violence had been dominant over there. Pirate ships came from all over the world, even from Madagascar. In 1692 an earthquake occurred in the island and the pirate town sank under water, and all of its remains lie in the bottom of Kingston’s harbor.

With my help, I hope I can give you the experience of a lifetime in this Caribbean wonderland.  I think it’s pretty obvious, once you’ve tasted all Jamaica has to offer: the culture of the Rastafarians, nature with its waterfalls, coves, caves and fruit trees, the chill vibes, music and history, there is only one thing that is going to bother you, leaving!

Maui Travel Agent Specialist

Maui is by far my favorite destination in the Hawaiian Islands.  If you are a beach paradise lover like me, you just can’t ask for a better place for a romantic getaway, group travel or a family vacation.  With my help, I will make your trip to Maui an unforgettable experience that lasts forever.

Maui is unquestionably at the top of Hawaiian Island vacation spots.  Also known as “The Valley Isle”, Maui is Hawaii’s second-largest island, offering excellent food, amazing snorkeling, and some of the planet’s best beaches.  It’s not as highly commercialized as Oahu, but also not as underdeveloped as Kaui, making it an excellent destination for couples and families seeking authentic Hawaiian vibes.

Another highlight that makes Maui unique is that it’s actually comprised of three islands, not one.  Romantic Lanai and uncrowded Molokai are also part of Maui, which is officially known as Maui Nui. From Maui Island, you can sail to Lanai on a scenic 45-minute ferry or hop a 25-minute view-filled flight to Molokai.

Without a doubt, some of the most gorgeous beaches in the world are in Maui.  Maui is unique in that it has a broad array of beaches ranging from white, red, to black sandy beaches.  With glorious sands and amazing views, Maui has a beach for every mood.  Amazingly there are still several secret beaches on Maui that are unspoiled and secluded from tourists, making them ideal for a private romance experience.

One of my favorite beaches is Wailea Beach, located on the south coast it is known as one of the best beaches in the U.S.  Wailea means “the water of Lea”, the goddess of canoe makers. The beach is wide, the sand perfect, and the ocean is calm, with views of Kaho’olawe, Molokini, Lana’i and sightings of whales in the winter.  At Wailea Beach snorkeling is excellent around the rocky outcroppings that define both ends of the beach. Boogie boarding and body surfing are also great options to enjoy the small waves with gentle slopes.

A drive along the coast takes you past calm snorkel coves, and some of the biggest surfable waves on Earth.  Another One the best Maui beaches is Ka’anapali Beach, which is located on the western side of the island. It’s been named America’s Best Beach and offers three miles of soft, white sand for sunbathing. kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming with sea turtles.

If you have never been on a black sand beach, Honokalini Beach will astonish you. It has been Conde Nast Traveler’s number one choice in their 20 Best Beaches in the World.  With otherworldly black volcanic sand, Honokalani Beach at Wai’anapanapa State Park is a must see.

But there is so much more to Maui than just it’s amazing beaches.  Maui is the home to one of just three volcanic atolls in the world, Molokini Crater. A snorkel trip to this watery wonderland will reveal a rainbow of coral and bountiful schools of tropical fish all within the crystal-clear crater’s waters.

Another top attraction is the Road to Hana, which boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in Hawaii.  This scenic drive offers many includes black sand beaches, cascading waterfalls, Bamboo forests, Garden of Eden, Hana lava tube, Seven sacred pools, and much more.  In fact, there are so many attractions on this beautiful road that it is impossible to see them all in a single day.

Hiking is one of the best activities in Maui, with several great hiking trails such as Iao Valley Park, Haleakala Crater, and Pipiwai Trail.  Hikers of all ages and skill levels will appreciate the incredible trails that wind through the Valley Isle. Whether you want to explore bamboo forests, waterfalls, or a volcanic state park, you’ll find it all on Maui.

If adventure is what you are looking for, Maui is the epicenter of Hawaii’s adventurous activities. Its lush green forests, diverse terrains, and scenic mountains offer exceptional adventure opportunities. You can go ziplining above Kaanapali, take a thrilling biking tour to the 10,000ft scenic Haleakala Mountain, experience the thrill of diving with white tip reef sharks at Mala Wharf, walk through a 900-year-old Hana Lava Tube, or enjoy a waterfall trek in East Maui.

If you happen to visit during winter, National Geographic recommends Maui as the best place to catch a glimpse of the 10,000 humpback whales that migrate from Alaska every year During peak whale season, December through April, you can often catch a glimpse of the massive whales right from the shore.

For you foodies, with a large bounty of tropical ingredients and plenty of eateries, Maui boasts world-class dining in paradise. Stop by a food truck for kalua pork tacos and a plate lunch, or splurge on dinner at a five-star restaurant.  Don't forget to experience the Luau while sipping a Mai Tai and enjoying the sunset over the Pacific.

There is so much more to say about Maui, but better to experience it instead. I really hope everyone gets a chance to experience Maui at least once, and I know I can provide the perfect vacation that you deserve.

Kiawah Island Travel Agent Specialist

There is just something about Kiawah Island that is above and beyond other U.S. coastal islands. I personally believe it is the most stunning island in South Carolina, and quite possibly in the entire U.S.  I might be a bit biased, since I am a golf and tennis lover, and Kiawah is at the always ranked at the top of the list for those activities, especially golf!  But, after a visit, I guarantee you will share my opinion about this paradise.

Kiawah is an unspoiled barrier island with an incredible ecosystem that includes 10 miles of pristine Atlantic coast beach, a maritime forest, and a labyrinth of saltwater marshes. The one thing I have always found most captivating about Kiawah is its natural beauty, and the way the community has managed to control its growth while optimizing and maintaining the environment.  That’s probably why Kiawah was voted the second-best island in the U.S. by Condé Nast Traveler in 2020.

If you are not an avid golfer or tennis player, it’s possible to spend your entire vacation in Kiawah enjoying the incredible beaches.  Kiawah’s shoreline is pristine and consistently ranks amongst the best in the world. Its east-west orientation offers a prime spot for viewing sunrises and sunsets. The packed sand allows for recreation, including beach games of all kinds, building sandcastles, and biking along the water’s edge.

One thing that sets Kiawah apart from other resorts, is its nature programs. There is something for everyone, from children to adults. If you are active, there is kayaking, paddling, and fishing excursions. Some seasons even offer 5Ks, polar plunges, or triathlons. If you are artistic, there is painting, photography, and other creative classes.  Some other activities of note are yoga on the beach, Surf camp, and Shelling.

Golf!!!  There is no way to avoid the topic, golf is Kiawah’s big draw. Internationally recognized as a golf destination, there are nine world-class courses sprawling across and around Kiawah Island designed by some of golf’s most elite course designers including Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Clyde Johnston, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus!

With year-round balmy weather, lush scenery and a tranquil setting, this is a golfer’s paradise.  The island’s setting and the architect’s challenging designs incorporating the rolling sand dunes, marshes, and forests make for exciting play.  The site of three previous PGA Championships, Kiawah Island Resort most recently hosted the tournament in 2021, on the Ocean Course. Regarded as one of the finest golf courses in the world, this championship course provides views of the Atlantic from every hole.

After a long afternoon on the golf course, kick back with a cold beer and a tasty meal at the Ryder Cup Bar.  While admiring sweeping views of the ocean from the verandah, diners can chow down on an order of warm crab dip followed by a burger topped with smoked cheddar and peppered bacon.  But, trust me, you don't have to be a golfer to enjoy your vacation on Kiawah, it's just an added bonus!

The tennis program at Kiawah was built to be one of the best.  Kiawah's tennis program is consistently ranked as one of the top tennis resorts in the U.S, with 22 tennis courts, including 10 brand new clay courts.  If you love tennis, you know nothing beats the experience of playing on clay.

Kiawah is really a nature observers dream come true.  The forests, marshlands, brackish waterways, and Atlantic Ocean are home to 300 species of birds, 18 species of mammals, and 30 species of reptiles. There are towers that allow you to look over the marshes and view birds and wildlife in their natural habitat.

I think one of the best parts of vacationing in Kiawah is how short of a drive it is to Charleston.  Charleston has been voted the number one city in the United States by Travel + Leisure for the past decade, so it’s like you are getting 2 vacations in 1!

When I vacation in Kiawah, I end up spending almost every night in Charleston for fine dining.  If you love fresh seafood, it doesn’t get much better.  After dinner, you can enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, or a stroll down the cobblestone streets to explore the city’s amazing architecture, the pastel homes along Rainbow Row and many other historical sites.

To top everything off, it’s only a 20-minute drive to tiny Seabrook Island.  The island's 2 and a half miles of pristine beaches, windswept dunes, and quiet communities offer ample opportunity for exploration. The island is also home to tennis, golf, and horseback riding facilities. I have stayed a few times in Seabrook, and it is one of the most relaxing and calming places I have ever visited.

With all that said, I have just barely scratched the surface of the reasons that Kiawah Island is at the top of my U.S. coastal island destinations.  I know that with my help, your vacation to Kiawah Island will be perfect, and you will be longing to go back to that pristine little island off the coast of South Carolina, again and again.

Zihuatanejo Travel Agent Specialist

The first time I ever heard of Zihuatanejo was when Stephen King sent his escaped convict Andy Dufresne there in “The Shawshank Redemption.”  At the time I actually thought the place was made-up, but luckily later in life I got a chance to see why this paradise was used as the ultimate getaway.

Zihuatanejo, or Zihua, as most people call it, lies on the Pacific coast of Mexico where colorful buildings cascade down the slopes of the Sierra Madre del Sur Mountains, along the curve of calm bays and white sandy beaches. The beauty of Zihua is found in the warm waters along its four beaches, in the restaurants in town and on the boardwalk. What makes it especially unique is that unlike many other coastal destinations, tourists and locals actually mingle and connect.

Zihua is a beach and water lover’s dream come true!  Zihua’s warm waters don’t generally dip below 65°F, which makes swimming and relaxing on the beach just about perfect. Celebrated for their gentle surf, sweeping yellow-white sand and laid-back vibes, there are four beaches to explore. Playa Municipal and Playa Madera are located near the city center.  Playa La Ropa is the largest beach, and probably my favorite. You can get to the more secluded beach, Playa las Gatas, by taking a water taxi across the bay.  There you will enjoy a lovely white-sand beach without vegetation, situated on a shallow cove with clear blue waters that's lined with open-air restaurants serving fresh seafood and cervezas.

If you are an underwater lover, Scuba diving and snorkeling are two of the most popular activities in Zihua.  With a mix of shallow reefs, caverns, sunken ships and abundant biodiversity, I think my best scuba diving was in Zihua.  Also, the water is teeming with angelfish, crabs, starfish, stingrays, octopus, manta rays, sharks and seahorses. Whales migrate to the area between December and April, and seals make an appearance between August and October.

If you would rather enjoy the beauty above water, a boating excursion is a great way to explore the Zihua coast. You can rent a sailboat to explore the bay, a party boat for you and your friends, a luxurious yacht or something more suited to an all-day sportfishing trip. If you are there In February, the city’s annual SailFest is an amazing sight to see from the hotels, boardwalk, and beaches of Zihua.

Another beachside activity is horseback riding on the beach.  A tour goes along Playa Larga, past coconut plantations and mangrove trees in the Ixtapa Zihuatanejo area. Enjoy pleasant landscapes and vistas of mountain ranges, a lagoon, and the Pacific Ocean while on a gentle horseback ride. The tour is suitable for both beginner riders and the more experienced.

Thankfully this once-sleepy fishing town northwest of Acapulco has held tight to its authentic roots as it grows into a lively city of artisan shops and galleries, sophisticated eateries and bountiful live entertainment. The music scene of Zihua is amazing, with live entertainment galore.  Musicians come from across the country: Mexico City, Morelia, Guadalajara, Guanajuato. International musicians, too, have heard the word and join in the fun.

As far as the cuisine goes, being located on the coast means there’s plenty of great seafood that’s caught fresh daily. Head to the beachfront restaurants to try tiritas, the local Zihuetenejo take on ceviche, as well as fish tacos, cócteles (seafood in a red tomato salsa), and zarandeado (“shaken fish”).  If you are a coffee lover, with ideal growling climates in the Sierra Madre mountains, you can sample fresh coffee at Cafe Caracol, Cafa Galeana and Cafe Zihuatanejo, which all sell locally-grown coffees that come from the mountains near Zihuatanejo Ixtapa.

A great bonus to visiting Zihua is how close it is to Ixtapa.  Usually referred to as Ixtapa Zihuatanejo Mexico, like they are one place!  Most travelers heading to one will usually visit the other on the same trip. Located just five miles (8 km) apart, it’s easy and quick to get to Ixtapa from Zihua.  Most people choose to stay in Zihua for a more cultural experience, but still enjoy all the best things to do in Ixtapa, including snorkeling on the best Ixtapa beaches and more.

When you decide you want to visit Zihua, keep in mind the dry season months of November to April are best because you’ll have none or very little rain, with low levels of humidity.  Although, if you like it a little quieter, visit Zihuatanejo during the low season of October and May, the weather is still great so you won’t miss out in any activites.

Zihua is just an amazing place to visit in Mexico, and I will never forget the times I have spent there.  With my help, I know I can give you the perfect vacation to Zihua that will remain in your heart forever.

Hilton Head Travel Agent Expert

One of the most beautiful destinations in South Carolina, Hilton Head Island, is very special to me. Growing-up my family took a vacation to South Carolina at least once a year.  This is where I learned to golf as a child, and fell in love with the amazing southern hospitality of every local I met.  For those of you looking for a great vacation in the U.S., Hilton Head Island is in the top 5 of my must visit locations.

Hilton Head Island (more commonly referred to as Hilton Head), is justifiably famous for its incredible beaches and world-class golf courses.  It's regularly voted one of the best vacation destinations in the world.  Dotted with world-class golf courses, renowned restaurants, superb shopping and white-sand beaches as far as the eye can see, this resort island just right for relaxing.

Hilton Head is renowned for its pristine beaches and championship-grade golf courses.  Nestled between Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, this 12-mile barrier island is the ultimate retreat.  Hilton Head has been voted #10 on the list of Best Golf Resorts in the World by readers of Golf Digest, and was named America’s Best Island by Travel Pulse, making it the ideal place for relaxation and recreation.

Hilton Head was designed in harmony with nature to carefully preserve the coastal environment with its pristine tidal creeks, expansive stretches of marshlands and centuries-old oaks.  Hotels, homes and condos are inconspicuously tucked among the lush landscape, preserving the unspoiled feel of a maritime forest.

Whatever your travel plans, you'll find just what you need on Hilton Head.  Choose from two dozen hotels and inns - among them five AAA Four Diamond Award winners and one earning the elite Five Diamond rating.  There are also more than 6,000 private residences with everything from one-bedroom golf course condos to eight-bedroom oceanfront homes. Some vacation rentals even welcome the family pet.

If an ocean view is your preference, pamper yourself at one of the island's oceanfront resorts, each with its own sumptuous spa, expansive pool, luxurious guest rooms and exclusive recreational amenities.  Though there are a total of seven beaches on the island, with soft, white sand and gorgeous coastal surroundings, Coligny Beach is a favorite for locals.  Before hitting the beach, you can peruse the shopping area with surf stores, bars, and restaurants.  Once on the sand, you can sip a cool drink from the beachside bars or partake in a lively game of volleyball.

For you fans of sea life, every year between May and October, sea turtles visit the beaches of Hilton Head.  In 2021, 283 nests were laid on the pristine beaches.  Two volunteer organizations, Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island and Turtle Trackers, work hard every morning and evening during nesting season to protect sea turtle nests and ensure the hatchlings can make a safe journey from the beach to their ocean home.

If you’re not visiting Hilton Head for the beaches, you’ll certainly want to visit for the golf courses.  The island is repeatedly named a top golf destination in the state and throughout the U.S. with more than two dozen courses.  Hilton Head facilities are perfectly manicured and encompassed by majestic Lowcountry scenery.  Tee off amongst palmetto trees, surrounded by marshland and scenic ocean views.

For all you nature lovers, Hilton Head has no shortage of parks, recreation areas, and historical landmarks. The natural conditions of the Lowcountry breed a particularly unique ecosystem teeming with wonderful wildlife.  A must visit is The Sea Pines Forest Preserve, home to many outdoor attractions like walking trails, fishing docks, boardwalks through the wetlands, and even guided excursions. The Shell Ring, a 4,000-year-old shell deposit composed of oysters, mussels, and clams, is the oldest archeological finding on Hilton Head.

In addition to its premier accommodations and scenic beauty, Hilton Head also offers an exciting cultural scene, from the rich history of the Gullah people to the authentic Lowcountry cuisine.  Bike through Coligny Plaza, tour the trails of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort or venture out on two wheels to eat like a local at one of Hilton Head's fantastic restaurants.  For more than 30 years, Hilton has also hosted the Wine & Food Festival every March.

The island is not only perfect for romantic getaways, golf weekends and outdoor adventures, it's also one of the best family vacation spots in the country.  After a day in the sun and sand, take the kids to get dressed up as pirates and embark on a cruise to hunt for sunken treasure at Pirates of Hilton Head.

With nothing but fond memories, every trip I took Hilton head during childhood and as an adult has been amazing.  If you're looking for the perfect place to unwind and spend time with the people who matter most, Hilton Head is the luxurious retreat you've been searching for.  I look forward to creating the perfect vacation for you to remember forever.

Arizona Travel Agent Specialist

When it comes to great U.S. destination states, Arizona will always have a special place in my heart.  This may be because I had an amazing destination wedding in the mountains of Tucson, or maybe because I went to the University of Arizona, and every time I visit Tucson, I feel young again.  I really do not believe there is another state with so many different types of beautiful vacation possibilities all year round.

It really is difficult to explain the different experiences to be had all over the state.  For all you lovers of truly majestic scenery, nothing compares to places like the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Montezuma Castle or Vermillion Cliffs.  Any one of these sites are perfect for a relaxing getaway, but also offer multiple options for outdoor adventures.

If mainly water activities is more your style, Arizona offers gorgeous locations like Lake Havasu, Saguaro Lake, Lake Powell or Lake Mead.  With amazing scenery these locations offer boating, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding, kayaking, paddleboarding, scuba diving, parasailing and of course, fishing.  For a break from the water each Lake is also unique in its different hiking environments.

Of course, you cannot talk about Arizona without mentioning the two biggest cities, Phoenix and Tucson.  While there is only about an hour and a half drive between the two, the cities are different in almost every aspect from environment to culture.  If you are looking for a city that has everything, Phoenix being the 5th most populous city in the country is just that.  To name just a few of Phoenix's draws, there is professional sports, Jack Nicholas designed golf courses, world class spas, museums, hiking in the Sonoran Desert, a lively nightlife, diverse restaurants and don't forget the hot air ballooning.  Another great perk of Phoenix is that Scottsdale is on its northern border, which is a great resort town that all should visit.

For you mountain view lovers, Tucson is the place to be.  This is because Tucson is situated in a high desert valley surrounded by the Santa Catalinas to the north, the Rincons to the east, the Santa Ritas to the south and the Tucsons to the west. Located only 70 miles from the Mexico border, the Tucson experience is everything a person imagines of the true southwest with both Mexican and Native American influence.  Tucson delivers exceptional opportunities to explore, from hiking in Saguaro National Park, to the famous 98-acre Arizona-Senora Desert Museum.  And if you like Mexican food, you will love what is known as the Best 23 Miles of Mexican food.  With multiple ranch experiences and luxury resorts in the mountain side, Tucson is a must visit in Arizona.

Lastly is a town very close to Tucson, the border town of Nogales.  Native American tribes met up with Spanish explorers there Centuries ago, which has created an amazing meld of cultures in Nogales.  Luckily for all of us, that history has not been erased, and Nogales is one of the premier places to visit historical buildings.  As far as food goes, whether you are on the Arizona side or the Mexico side of Nogales,  the authentic Mexican food is outstanding.

I wish I could tell you more about all the other amazing places in Arizona, but unfortunately that would take a novel.  Instead, I hope you allow me to create an experience for you that will make you long to see every part of Arizona.

The perfect honeymoon

Matthew was so great to work with! Very fast response times which made us feel very special and that our trip was his top priority. He took our perfect honeymoon description and delivered! From budget to vibes it was the perfect situation! The resort we stayed at was beautiful! Prior to going he sent excursion suggestions, made sure we checked into our flight and that our customs & immigration paperwork was all completed as well. He could not have made it easier to travel! The resort we stayed at was AMAZING! We had such a lovely time and we could not have asked for a more perfect honeymoon. We had some travel hiccups on the way home but they were out of everyone’s control and our trip was extended 6 nights. Matthew was our saving grace!!! He helped us look for new accommodations just incase we couldn’t stay at the resort anymore, thankfully we could. He helped us rebook our return flights and get us home as quickly as possible and because of him we were able to enjoy this extension and not stress about how we were getting home. With this unpredictable event he honestly saved our honeymoon with his promptness and care. I look forward to working with Matthew for our next trip! I have already recommended him to friends prior to going on our trip but now I have been telling friends and family that they NEED to work with him because he was just that great to us! Thank you Matthew!!!

We had the best time ever in Cabo. The resort was great and everything we hoped for. I can't wait for Matt to plan another trip for us!!!!
