For me, travel is all about great food, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable moments, and California brings it all together. I specialize in California travel, with a focus on the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and Los Angeles, where coastal sunshine meets some of the country's best food and most interesting neighborhoods.
In San Francisco, I always come back to the neighborhoods and the food. Chinatown is one of my favorite places to spend time, especially for a dim sum crawl. I like to keep it simple and order small plates at a few different spots so I can try as much as possible. Between stops, I always pop into the small local markets. The staff is friendly, and the shelves are packed with snacks you will not find anywhere else. I am always happy to share my favorites.
Just a short distance away, Japan town has a slightly different feel. It is a little quieter, with great restaurants and peaceful sitting areas that reflect traditional Japanese design. Sitting there with a drink from a nearby tea shop, it is easy to forget you are still in California for a moment.
Some of my favorite memories in San Francisco are the simplest ones. I like to grab empanadas or something fresh from a local market and head toward the water. Sitting along the bay near the ferry terminals and watching boats come and go, with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, never gets old. If you keep walking, you will pass the Exploratorium and make your way toward the Aquarium of the Bay, where you can catch glimpses of sea life while still enjoying the waterfront atmosphere.
That walk naturally leads into Fisherman's Wharf, which is busy and a little touristy but still a lot of fun. Between the sea lions, fishermen bringing in fresh catches, and plenty of spots for seafood and ice cream, there is always something going on. Throughout the city, the colorful homes stacked along the hills add to its charm. You can spend hours just wandering and taking it all in.
Just outside the city, Sonoma Wine Country offers a completely different pace. Rolling hills, vineyards, and small towns make it the perfect place to slow down. I love planning time here for wine tastings, long lunches, and discovering little bistros, especially the kind you stumble into and end up loving.
I also like to incorporate a few unique Northern California stops. Santa Rosa is a charming town and home to Snoopy, which makes it a fun and slightly nostalgic visit. In San Jose, the Mexican food scene is a standout, but it is also home to the Winchester Mystery House, one of the most unique and fascinating places you will ever tour, as well as a surprisingly great Egyptian museum. If you want a quieter coastal stop, Half Moon Bay is perfect for ocean views and a relaxed afternoon.
In Los Angeles, the energy shifts to a faster, more diverse pace. The food scene is a huge part of that. You can find everything from smoothie spots and brunch cafés to some of the best taco stands you will ever try. Korean BBQ in Koreatown is always a must. I usually recommend mixing in both trendier spots and more local favorites to get the full experience.
One of my favorite drives is heading up through the hills to Griffith Observatory. The views stretch for miles, and it is the perfect place to take a step back and see how big Los Angeles really is. From there, you can shift into a completely different vibe with a day of shopping in Beverly Hills, especially along Rodeo Drive, before heading out for the night in West Hollywood, one of my favorite areas for nightlife.
Los Angeles is also a great base for exploring nearby destinations. Palm Springs is an easy getaway with desert views, a slower pace, and some seriously good tacos. If you would rather stay coastal, the beach cities all have their own personalities. Venice Beach has an energetic and eclectic feel, Santa Monica is classic and lively, and Malibu offers scenic beauty and a more relaxed atmosphere. Long Beach is home to the historic Queen Mary and is a great option if you enjoy history.
Down in San Diego, everything feels a bit more relaxed while still offering plenty to do. The Gaslamp Quarter is one of my favorite areas to explore, especially in the evening when the lights come on and the streets feel lively. The food scene here is just as fun. I still think about a tomahawk steak I had that was basically the size of my arm.
For something iconic, the San Diego Zoo is always worth visiting, and catching a game at Petco Park is a great way to spend an afternoon. If you are in a more relaxed mood, a sunset yacht cruise along the coast is hard to beat. It is that balance of laid-back and lively that makes San Diego such an easy place to love.
From dumpling crawls and waterfront views in San Francisco, to tacos and late nights in Los Angeles, to beachside dining and easygoing days in San Diego, I love helping clients experience California in a way that feels personal and natural.
If you are looking for a Florida beach getaway that blends energy with charm, the pairing of...
If you are looking for a Florida beach getaway that blends energy with charm, the pairing of Daytona Beach and St. Augustine offers the best of both worlds. Just a short drive apart, these two destinations complement each other perfectly. One brings lively beachfront fun, while the other offers a slower, more relaxed coastal vibe.
Daytona Beach is all about classic beach town energy. The main strip is full of life, lined with bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, and snack stands that keep the atmosphere buzzing from day to night. You will often find live entertainment, concerts, and even light shows adding to the excitement. The Ferris wheel along the boardwalk gives you a perfect vantage point for sweeping ocean views and that nostalgic seaside feel.
The beach itself is wide and welcoming, ideal for long, sunny days spent relaxing by the water. Whether you want to stretch out with a good book, take a dip in the ocean, or cast a line from the pier, there is no shortage of ways to enjoy the coastline. One of the more unique aspects of Daytona is the ability to drive on certain sections of the beach, which adds a fun and distinctly local twist to your beach day.
On the inlet and river side, the pace shifts slightly. This is where you will find some of the best waterfront dining in the area. Picture sitting outside with fresh seafood in front of you, watching boats drift by while seabirds circle overhead. It is the kind of setting that makes you want to linger a little longer. And while you are there, trying a local favorite is a must. A Grouper Reuben might sound unexpected at first, but it is a Daytona-area staple that wins people over quickly.
Just down the coast, St. Augustine offers a completely different feel. Known as one of the oldest cities in the United States, it brings a more laid-back and scenic coastal experience. The beaches here feel quieter and more relaxed, where you might see families flying kites or taking long walks along the shore. It is the perfect contrast to Daytona’s high-energy vibe.
Like Daytona, parts of the beaches around St. Augustine also allow for 4x4 driving, giving you another way to explore the coastline and settle into your own perfect stretch of sand. The dining scene continues to shine here as well, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy fresh, local seafood in a more low-key setting.
Together, Daytona Beach and St. Augustine create a well-rounded coastal escape. You can spend your days soaking up the sun and excitement, then shift into a more peaceful rhythm without ever going far. It is a combination that offers something for every type of traveler, whether you are chasing lively beach days, scenic relaxation, or a little bit of both.
If you’re looking to add high-energy thrills and immersive worlds to your Orlando itinerary, Universal Studios Florida...
If you’re looking to add high-energy thrills and immersive worlds to your Orlando itinerary, Universal Studios Florida delivers in a completely different way than Disney. It is fast-paced, exciting, and packed with rides and experiences that bring your favorite movies and characters to life in a bold, interactive way. Whether you are planning a family trip or an adults-focused getaway, Universal offers something that feels a little more adventurous and a little more edge-of-your-seat fun.
One of the best places to start or end your day is Universal CityWalk. This vibrant dining and entertainment district is full of personality and some seriously fun food. Spots like The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen are an experience in themselves, with over-the-top milkshakes and a whimsical steampunk atmosphere. Voodoo Doughnut is perfect for late-night treats, offering creative and colorful donuts that are as fun to look at as they are to eat. The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar brings a playful twist with its mix of sushi and burgers, making it a must-try for something a little different.
Inside the parks, the variety is what makes Universal so special. From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by familiar worlds reimagined in immersive detail. The DreamWorks Land area brings childhood favorites to life, including Shrek’s Swamp, which is full of charm and humor. It is hard not to smile when stepping into a space inspired by Shrek. Nearby, the Minions area is bright, chaotic, and incredibly fun, making it a hit for all ages.
For action lovers, attractions like Transformers: The Ride 3D put you right in the middle of the action. The park is filled with rides that blend motion simulation, storytelling, and impressive effects to create experiences that feel larger-than-life.
A newer highlight that draws in both kids and adults is Super Nintendo World, where classic video games become fully interactive environments. It is colorful, nostalgic, and packed with details that make you feel like you have stepped directly into your favorite games. The DreamWorks Destination also includes playful additions like Kung Fu Panda experiences, where even the food, like dumplings, ties into the theme in a fun way.
Of course, there are also nods to Universal’s classic roots. The E.T. Adventure remains a beloved, nostalgic ride that brings a slower, story-driven experience into a park otherwise filled with thrills.
For superhero fans, the Marvel Super Hero Island area lets you step into a comic-book world filled with iconic characters and high-energy attractions. And if you are craving roller coasters and adrenaline, Universal delivers with thrilling rides, including dinosaur-themed coasters that keep the excitement level high throughout the day.
Then there is the crown jewel for many visitors, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is where Universal truly shines in immersive storytelling. From sipping Butterbeer to wandering through detailed shops filled with magical merchandise, every corner feels like it was pulled straight from the films. Diagon Alley is packed with hidden details, interactive wand experiences, and incredible rides that put you right into the story. You can even explore areas inspired by the Ministry of Magic, adding another layer to the experience.
Dining here is part of the magic, with meals that make you feel like you are sitting inside Hogwarts itself. You can learn about wand creation, choose your own wand, and watch as magic unfolds all around you. And yes, keep an eye out, because you just might spot a dragon making a dramatic appearance overhead.
Universal Studios Florida is the perfect complement to a Disney trip or a standout destination on its own. It is energetic, immersive, and filled with moments that make you feel like you have stepped inside your favorite stories. With the right planning, you can balance the thrills, the food, and the must-see attractions to create a day that feels just as magical, but with a little more adrenaline.

There’s no such thing as “just another trip” to Walt Disney World. After more than 30 visits since I was three years old, I can confidently say it is a destination that evolves with you. What started as family vacations escaping cold Midwest winters has turned into a deep expertise in how to truly do Disney right. From strategic park planning to knowing which experiences are worth your time and which hidden gems most people miss, I help turn what can feel overwhelming into something seamless and unforgettable.
Each of the four parks offers something completely different, and understanding how to approach them is key to maximizing your experience.
Magic Kingdom is the heart of Disney magic and, for many, the most iconic park. It is especially perfect for families with kids, thanks to its abundance of character meet and greets and, of course, Cinderella’s Castle anchoring the park. Each land feels like stepping into a different storybook, with rides designed for all ages, from gentle and whimsical attractions to more thrilling adventures. The food here leans into the fun and festive side of Disney, and the entire park is designed to fully immerse you in that classic magic.
Disney's Hollywood Studios brings a completely different energy, blending old school Americana with blockbuster storytelling. There is a sense of nostalgia woven throughout, but it is also home to some of Disney’s most exciting rides. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror delivers a chilling drop experience, while the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is perfect if you are craving speed. For Star Wars fans, this park is a must. The immersive Galaxy’s Edge area is incredibly well done, and even the food there stands out as some of the best in Disney. For something fun and nostalgic, the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant offers a unique experience where you sit in vintage-style cars, enjoying burgers and milkshakes while watching delightfully cheesy retro film clips.
Disney's Animal Kingdom feels like a next-level blend of theme park and wildlife experience. It is perfect for animal lovers and those looking for something a little different. The Kilimanjaro Safaris is a standout, giving you the chance to see animals up close in a way that feels authentic and exciting. Thrill seekers will love Expedition Everest, while Kali River Rapids is great for cooling off. The live shows, especially Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo The Musical, are absolutely worth your time. The Pandora – The World of Avatar area is one of the most immersive lands Disney has ever created. The Flight of Passage ride truly makes you feel like you are flying, and the entire land transforms at night with glowing bioluminescence. Even smaller experiences, like the It’s Tough to Be a Bug 4D show, add to the storytelling.
My personal favorite park is EPCOT, and it is easy to see why. It strikes the perfect balance between innovation and global exploration. Attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are incredibly fun. It feels like flying through space to an upbeat, nostalgic soundtrack. Test Track lets you design your own car and put it to the test, while Living with the Land is a relaxing and surprisingly beautiful boat ride through Disney’s greenhouses and is absolutely worth not skipping. Soarin' Around the World gives you a breathtaking aerial journey across global landmarks, complete with immersive scents that make the experience even more memorable.
The World Showcase is where EPCOT truly shines. With 11 countries represented, you can experience different cultures through food, architecture, entertainment, and cast members from each region. It genuinely feels like traveling the world in a single afternoon. The Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is a personal favorite. It is an adorable and immersive 4D ride that never fails to make me smile.
EPCOT also hosts some of the best seasonal events Disney has to offer. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in the spring is filled with stunning floral displays, outdoor kitchens, and live music. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is a foodie’s dream, with dozens of global marketplaces and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series featuring well-known artists. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts blends culinary creativity with visual and performing arts, including Broadway performances.
Beyond the parks, Disney offers even more to explore. Disney's BoardWalk area is perfect for an evening stroll with dining and nightlife, while Disney Springs features an incredible lineup of restaurants and shops, including concepts from world-renowned chefs.
Whether you are planning a family vacation, a honeymoon, or an adults-only getaway, Disney truly has something for everyone. The key is knowing how to navigate it all, and that is where I come in. With the right strategy and insider knowledge, your Disney trip becomes more than just a vacation. It becomes an experience you will be talking about for years.

Jeju Island is your escape - a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature. From hiking and kayaking to relaxing beach days, this is where your journey softens into something peaceful. Travel is more than just a trip - it’s about the stories we tell afterward. As a Florida and Disney specialist, I focus on turning your vacation dreams into thoughtfully crafted, seamless journeys. Whether you are looking for the perfect family getaway to Walt Disney World or a deep dive into the hidden gems of the Sunshine State, I am here to ensure every detail is handled with care.
My connection to Florida runs deep. I’ve been escaping the harsh Cleveland winters with my family since I was just three years old, returning year after year to soak up the sunshine. While many of those trips were spent in the Orlando area, filled with magical days at Disney, I’ve also fallen in love with so many corners of the state, each offering something uniquely special.
From the lively shores of Daytona Beach, where beach days blend seamlessly into nights filled with live music along the boardwalk, to the powdery white sands of Clearwater Beach, widely known as one of the most pristine beaches in the country, Florida offers an incredible range of experiences. In Daytona, I had my first taste of a Grouper Reuben (hesitantly at first!) and quickly made it, along with peel-n-eat shrimp, a personal staple. There’s something unforgettable about dining along the inlet, listening to live music while boats drift by and seabirds swoop overhead.
Clearwater Beach, on the other hand, feels almost surreal with its soft sand and crystal-clear water. Even the drive in from Tampa is part of the experience, crossing bridges over sparkling blue waters - you might even catch a glimpse of the famous pirate ship sailing by at sunset. After a day in the sun, the nearby strip of bars and restaurants keeps the energy going well into the evening.
For a slower pace, Marco Island offers a peaceful escape. It’s the kind of place where beachside relaxation takes center stage - days are spent enjoying the sun, grabbing ice cream, and unwinding at beautiful resorts, while evenings wind down early. And yet, if you know where to look, there’s always a local spot with a bit of late-night charm and unexpected fun.
Then there’s Key West - one of my absolute favorite destinations. There is truly nothing quite like it. This vibrant island is packed with incredible seafood, lively bars, local artists, and welcoming energy. From conch fritters and fresh stone crab to spontaneous karaoke nights and sunset celebrations, it’s nearly impossible not to have an amazing time. A stop at the southernmost point is a must, if only to fully soak in the spirit of the island.
Of course, no Florida expertise would be complete without theme park mastery. I am a true Disney enthusiast, having visited Walt Disney World more than 30 times. I know the ins and outs of maximizing your time, avoiding crowds, and uncovering experiences most visitors miss. I also help plan trips to Universal Studios Florida, especially for fellow fans of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is an absolute must-see.
My approach to travel is rooted in my own curiosity for culture, architecture, and most importantly, cuisine. I believe the best way to experience a destination is through its flavors. For my Disney clients, this means going beyond the rides to uncover the best dining, hidden gems, and festival experiences. The EPCOT festivals: Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts, and Flower & Garden are personal favorites, offering everything from global tastings and immersive art to stunning landscaping and live entertainment.
Disney truly offers something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a family trip filled with character meet-and-greets and magical moments, or an adults-only getaway focused on thrill rides, world-class dining, and creative cocktails, the possibilities are endless. Having an expert by your side can make all the difference in turning a good trip into an unforgettable one.
From navigating complex park reservations to finding that perfect quiet corner of a coastal resort, I take the stress out of planning. My goal is simple: to provide you with an immersive, personalized experience that leaves you free to simply enjoy the magic.
Let’s start planning your next great Florida adventure!
Australia is a land of profound beauty and endless discovery, and my mission is to help you...
Australia is a land of profound beauty and endless discovery, and my mission is to help you experience it far beyond the typical tourist path. From the vibrant rhythm of Sydney’s harbor to the ancient, spiritual stillness of the Outback, I specialize in crafting journeys that connect you deeply with the spirit of the “Land Down Under.”
Australia is home to landscapes unlike anywhere else in the world. Nowhere captures this better than the Great Barrier Reef - a true scuba and snorkel paradise teeming with life and color. Along the coast, regions like the Gold Coast, Brisbane, and Sunshine Coast offer a surfer’s dream with some of the best beaches and waves in the world. Beyond the sand, you’ll find charming coastal experiences - think local donut shops, nut factories, cozy cafés, scenic hikes, and one-of-a-kind dining. And yes, kangaroos hopping along the beach at sunset is a real, unforgettable moment.
Further inland, Alice Springs is an artist’s haven, where the striking desert landscape inspires creatives from around the globe.
My favorite cities in Australia are, by far, Melbourne and Sydney. Melbourne feels effortlessly modern yet architecturally unique, with every building telling its own story. It’s a city best explored on foot - safe, clean, and filled with incredible food from cultures around the world. Its lush gardens and world-class art museums are a joy to explore, and just outside the city, you can unwind at St Kilda Beach or venture farther to witness the magical penguin walk along the coast.
Sydney, however, may be my favorite destination of all. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and home to some of the best food in the world, thanks to its incredible cultural diversity. Wander through The Rocks for classic pubs and unforgettable dining, or explore the elegant Queen Victoria Building for shopping and great food. The city is filled with top-tier museums, from art to maritime history, and icons like the Sydney Opera House never fail to impress.
Nature lovers will fall in love with the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney - a peaceful oasis with stunning harbor views. Both Darling Harbour and Sydney Harbour are lined with incredible waterfront dining, offering the perfect blend of scenery and cuisine. For fun, stop by Luna Park Sydney, or visit the renowned Taronga Zoo for unforgettable animal encounters.
Beach lovers can escape to Manly Beach or Bondi Beach for iconic coastal views and surf. And for adventure seekers, a day trip to the Blue Mountains and Scenic World is truly unforgettable.
Sydney’s Chinatown is a personal favorite of mine - home to some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had, incredible street food, vibrant markets, tanghulu, and even standout Korean BBQ like Bornga (only found in Korea and Australia). I still dream about the food scene here.
One of the best ways to experience Sydney is simply by hopping on its ferries - spending a day cruising between neighborhoods with stunning harbor views. The city is incredibly clean, safe, and easy to navigate, with one of the most seamless public transportation systems I’ve experienced. Whether walking, taking a ferry, light rail, or train, everything is simple with tap-on, tap-off access from your phone.
My personal travel philosophy is driven by curiosity and a love for authentic immersion. For me, Australia is best experienced through its sensory details: the striking architecture, the vibrant food scene, the coastal air, and the feeling of discovering something completely new.
Whether you’re dreaming of snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, exploring lush gardens, or embarking on a luxury coastal road trip, I handle the intricate logistics so you can focus on the experience. I pride myself on creating seamless, personalized itineraries that balance iconic landmarks with hidden gems- crafting an Australian adventure that is as unforgettable as it is uniquely yours.
