With its rich history, diverse culture, and abundance of attractions, you’ll never get bored in The Big Easy. You’ll savor its French Quarter and get caught up in the city’s Mardi Gras celebrations. Those are just two of the reasons why New Orleans is a must-visit destination. Some of the top tourist spots and events then to experience in New Orleans include: The French Quarter: The French Quarter is the heart of New Orleans and is home to some of the city’s most popular attractions. Stroll down Bourbon Street, explore the historic buildings, and enjoy the local cuisine. In fact, the French Quarter is the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is full of character and, again, is home to iconic Bourbon Street, as well as Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Bourbon Street is known for its lively nightlife, including bars, clubs, and live music venues. This part of New Orleans highlights cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and cafes for your explorations during the day. Jackson Square is a beautiful park located in the heart of the French Quarter. It's a great place to people watch or take in the architecture of the surrounding buildings. St. Louis Cathedral is the oldest Catholic cathedral in America and an important landmark in New Orleans. It's located on Jackson Square and is definitely worth a visit. Also known as the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis, King of France, the cathedral commemorates the French king, Louis IX.   Speaking of local cuisine, you’ll have to plan your diet so you can truly delight in some of the specialties, such as jambalaya, a Po’ Boy sandwich, and blackened fish. You won’t find food like this anywhere else. If you’re a foodie, you’re in for a true treat Mardi Gras: Mardi Gras is a world-famous celebration that takes place in New Orleans each year. Join in on the fun by attending one of the many parades or parties, or simply feel the excitement from watching from the sidelines. The National WWII Museum: The National WWII Museum tells the story of the American involvement in World War II through interactive exhibits and first-person accounts. This is a must-see for history buffs and anyone interested in learning more about this pivotal time period. More About Jackson Square Jackson Square is one of the most popular tourist spots in New Orleans. The square is named after General Andrew Jackson, who fought in the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812. The square is a beautiful park with a large fountain in the center.  There are also several monuments and statues around the sites. Visitors can take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the square, or simply enjoy the view of the Mississippi River. Take a carriage ride through the park if you’re taking a romantic escape. The Garden District The Garden District is one of the most iconic neighborhoods in New Orleans. Also, you’ll want to check out the world-famous Hollywood sign when you visit the area. You may also want to stop in at Disneyland, visit the Los Angeles Zoo, or go shopping on Rodeo Drive. Trendy clubs and mellow jazz establishments, poised for nighttime entertainment, can be added in the mix of activities. From the sunny beaches of Los Angeles to the rugged canyons of Joshua Tree National Park, Southern California offers an abundance of activities and sights that you won't want to miss. Whether you are an adventure-seeker or a sightseer, I can plan one unforgettable trip. Naturally, you can’t see California without visiting the beaches. Sun, sand, and waves will always welcome you. I can also arrange a vacation at an exclusive resort in Malibu or help you plan a day at the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. If you like history, you’ll love your journey to the USS Midway Museum, which offers a unique insight into the operations of the US Navy. For an outdoor adventure, head to Joshua Tree National Park where you can hike, camp, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding canyons and rocks.  Another must-see attraction is the Santa Monica Pier. Explore the boardwalk and simply bask for the day in the sun.  It is also an idyllic venue for a quiet sunset stroll. Go back in time and ride the carousel and ferris wheel at the pier. A trip to Anaheim should also be on your travel itinerary. The city is home to Disneyland - the ultimate family adventure. The downtown area is also packed with wonderful restaurants and shops. You’ll also want to see Laguna Beach, a quaint coastal town next to the Pacific Ocean. Take a walk along the beachfront and visit the shops and galleries. Indeed, Southern California is home to some of the best travel sites in the United States. From beach towns and cities to national parks, there is no shortage of things to do in this sunny and one-of-a-kind destination. As mentioned, you’ll want to see the iconic Hollywood sign. Located among the hills of Los Angeles, the Hollywood sign is a reminder of the glamor and glitz of America’s entertainment capital.  The historic Mission San Juan Capistrano is another site worth seeing. Built in the 1700s, it’s the oldest mission in California and still stands as a reminder of the Spanish colonization of the area.  It is one of the best preserved examples of 18th century Spanish mission architecture. You can learn more about the mission’s history by taking a tour. The Venice Beach boardwalk offers a great place to people-watch and check out the colorful street performers. Every beach has its unique characteristics and attractions.  When visiting Los Angeles, take a walk down the Hollywood Walk of Fame. You’ll marvel at names of the stars as you trek down Hollywood’s famous boulevard.  I know you’ll love your trip to Southern California, whether you spend a weekend, or a couple weeks on your journey. As your travel agent professional for Southern California, I look forward to arranging a memorable holiday. Give me a call anytime to plan your vacation. End your “California Dreamin’” and make it a reality!

Santa Fe Travel Agent Expert

Do you know the way to Santa Fe? If not, as your travel agent advisor for Santa Fe, I am about to show you how to get to your next vacation destination. You definitely want to add Santa Fe to your travel bucket list, as it has a unique character and personality. The capital city of New Mexico, Santa Fe is found in the Sangre de Cristo foothills and is known for its Pueblo dwellings and creative works of art. Santa Fe began as a Spanish colony in 1610, long before the founding of the U.S. The city's heart is its traditional plaza which provides a hub for the city's historic district. The center of town leads to adobe and historic landmarks, such as the former Palace of the Governors, which is now the New Mexico History Museum. Once a remote Spanish outpost, Santa Fe is blissfully a one-of-a-kind American city.  The city's small cluster of mud-colored adobes in New Mexico's northern mountains seem to be inspired by dreams, as the city has the largest number of artists and writers in the U.S. For example, one half-mile span of road features over 80 art galleries - a testament to the city's emphasis on individuality. Therefore, you might say the fabric of the city is a by-product of creativity. Many of the buildings, built in the downtown area in the early 1900s, were made to attract tourists. What keeps the city grounded is its location in the mountains - you can see a mountain view, whether you are dining at a resort or in town, or relaxing poolside at your hotel.  Santa Fe also offers activities galore. You can travel out of town and reach a trailhead in only 10 minutes or find a slope to ski in about 30 minutes. Many trip-goers like to roam the ochre-shaded hills of Abiquiu, featured in Santa Fe artist Georgia O'Keeffe's artwork. If you travel east of Santa Fe, you will reach the Pecos Wilderness Area - a place that is home to magnificent summits, such as Truchas Peak. As your travel agent, I would like to introduce you to Santa Fe and its highlights. For example, The Ten Thousand Waves is a Japanese-styled spa  that offers the ultimate mountain resort getaway - a place for pampering and healing. I would also like to suggest the Bandelier National Monument, where you can spend the day, exploring the valley, once hidden, in Frijoles Canyon. Here is where ancestors of the Pueblo tribe built a massive city among cliffside cave dwellings. If you wish to explore the backcountry, I suggest the Valles Caldera National Preserve - a place where you will usually see elk more than hikers. Also, Ghost Ranch is a must-see attraction - the place where artist, Georgia O'Keeffe, stayed, set against beautiful cliffs and dramatic pinnacles. Hike or horseback to Chimney Rock to see what inspired her. I also like to recommend Santuario de Chimayo, a village church located north of Santa Fe. Its ground is known for its powers of healing. Let's talk and discuss your travel plans to Santa Fe now. Call me or email me today and let's design the perfect Santa Fe getaway!

Arizona Travel Agent Professional

If you want to travel to a beautiful and idyllic place in Arizona - one that is peaceful and tranquil, I highly recommend a trip to Sedona. As a travel agent specialist for Sedona, I can arrange a getaway that will fit your unique tastes and personality. Sedona is considered one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. and for good reason. The desert Arizona town, close to Flagstaff, is brimming with red-rock cliffs, steep and impressive canyon walls, and pine forests.  Noted for its colorful arts community and mild climate, the town of Sedona features spas, unique shops, and a variety of art galleries. Trailheads abound on the outskirts and lead to places, such as Red Rock State Park - an oasis for picnicking, bird watching, and hiking. When you see Sedona's towering red rocks next to a cerulean backdrop, you know yor are in desert heaven. Films that have featured Sedona's magnificent rock formations include Midnight Run and Broken Arrow.  However, as your travel agent specialist, I can tell you that there is more than red rocks and blue skies in Sedona. You can also savor spa treatments - some with a local twist, such as blue corn scrubs for the body and red clay facial wraps. Enjoy a glass of local wine to or explore the surrounding wilderness by jeep. You can also hike to your heart's content, as Sedona features over 100 hiking paths. Therefore, make sure you bring a broad spectrum sunscreen and some sturdy hiking boots. Resorts I often recommend include the Enchantment Resort and the Amara Resort and Spa - places that allow you to invest in yourself. While you can see Sedona just about anytime, the best time to pay a visit is from the months of March to May. During that period, the temperatures are warm but not sweltering. Plus the area is filled with blooms and birdsong. You might also consider visiting from September to November, when biking and jeep tours are popular activities. Spring and fall feature temperatures that range from the mid-60s to 80s. However, because these times are more temperate, room rates are higher as well.  Regardless of when you go though, I can help you find accommodations that will meet your tastes and budget. Why not contact me today and let's start planning your Sedona getaway!
