Lodi California – A Destination Wine Country

As a travel agent passionate about sharing the greatest finds, I have to tell you about Lodi, CA!!  In 2020 Lodi rebranded itself as “Lodi Wine Country”, and rightfully so as it is the largest and most bountiful wine region in the United States.  Lodi produces roughly 20% of California wine grapes which is HUGE when compared to Napa Valley’s 4%.   Lodi has 86 vineyards that produce more than 120 varieties of wine, there is literally a wine for everyone!   Lodi vineyards are comfortable, with no pretention, and staffed with service professionals who truly enjoy talking about wine, or the grounds, or the day.  And it is not uncommon to meet the vineyard owner or grower.  It is small town feel in the largest wine region in the country.
