West Coast of Florida Travel Agent Specialist

Since moving from NJ to Florida 5 years ago, we have been living on the West Coast.  I love the white sand beaches and the calm waters of the Gulf.  A vacation to Florida doesn't have to be to the amusement parks, there is so much to do in Florida without going to Orlando.

One of the best beaches in Florida is Clearwater Beach.  There is a wide white sand beach for volleyball and any kind of beach activity you can think to do.  Pier 60 is a great place for viewing a sunset or fishing at night.  There are great restaurants right on the beach.  My favorite is Frenchys.  

Tarpon Springs is a great place for taking a dolphin sighting cruise.  It is also the place to see how the sponges are collected and cleaned.  I enjoyed shopping the stores on the famous Sponge Docks.

Palm Harbor is home to the famous Innisbrook Golf Course where the pros play every March.  There are also many courses for the beginning and intermediate golfers.  My husband can tell you about quite a few of them.

If you're not a beach person or golfer, there is plenty to do in Tampa.

You can visit the old city of Ybor (pronounced E-bor) where cigars were hand rolled.  There are also many small breweries where you can taste the different beers.  My favorite place is the Tampa Zoo.  It's not too big or too small and they have many educational programs.  If you're a sports fan, you can watch The Lightning(ice hockey), The Bucs (Football), The Rays (baseball) or the Rowdies (soccer).

Aruba is called 'your happy place" for good reasons.  You can explore natural wonders, relax on soft sand  beaches, play a round of golf or gamble in the casino.  There are two hotel regions on Aruba, one with low rise hotels that are quieter and more intimate.  The other are has high rise hotels where there is more action and more things to do.  I was able to tour many of the hotels on my visit to Aruba.  I can tell you the plus and minus of each one.  I was able to find the perfect hotel for a honeymoon couple a few years back and they had a wonderful time.

Fiji Travel Agent Specialist

Fiji in the South Pacific is a magical place.  Fiji consists of an archipelago of more than 330 islands-of which 110 are permanently inhibited.  Most of the population lives on the two major islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.  My husband and I were lucky enough to travel to Fiji and fell in love with the white sandy beaches and clear blue waters.  The people are very friendly and most speak English.  There are a variety of hotels in Fiji from the more south pacific style of the Outrigger to the more modern Intercontinental and Westin.  There are adults only hotels and all inclusive resorts.  You can play a round of golf, scuba or snorkel, shopping and boating.  We enjoyed a Captain Cook Cruise out to small island to enjoy snorkeling and picnicing.  You are probably wondering about the flights to Fiji.  If you live on the East Coast like me, you can fly to LAX and then to Fiji.  I recommend flying to LA the day before and staying overnight in LA.  We took a tour of LA the next morning and relaxed before taking our night time flight to Fiji.  Because you cross the International Dateline, you loose a day flying to Fiji but when you return you end up back in LA before you even left Fiji.

Travel Agent for Hawaii Lovers

From crystal blue waters to stunning green cliffs and black sand beaches, Hawaii's open spaces are the perfect backdrop for unforgettable encounters with a vibrant culture that will reward you for seeking to expand your horizon.

The four main islands of Hawaii - Big Island, Oahu, Kauai, and Maui all have unique appeal for travelers.

 Kauai is the oldest and northernmost island.  We enjoyed a catamaran

cruise along the Napali Coast with it's dramatic, rugged terrain, sea caves and dolphins.  At the Lighthouse point we saw humpback whales. My husband enjoyed a round of golf at the very difficult Princeville golf course.

In the southern part of Kauai, we enjoyed a visit to Po'ipu Beach where we saw young seals chasing each other and turtles sunning themselves on the beach.  WE took a trip to Waimea Canyon State Park to see the Grand Canyon of Hawaii.   

 O'ahu stands for "The Gathering Place".  It is an island of vibrant contrasts.  Honolulu the state capital is located here.  The beautiful beaches of Wakiki will entice you to learn to surf.  I found it to be too big of a city for me but you don't want to miss Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, and Polynesian cultural center so be sure to spend a couple of days on the island.  

Mauai is the second largest island and is home to luxury resorts and charming towns.  Best island for a honeymoon in a variety of accommodations.  Town of Lahaina is the launching spot for whale watching, snorkel tours, fishing expeditions, and sunset cruises.  You will also find a great photo spot and the large Banyan Tree.  Kanapali and Kapalua areas have champion golf courses, luxury hotels and white sand beaches.  If you decide to drive the road to Hana, it takes about 3 hrs each way and and has 600 hairpin tours where only one car at a time can go around.  If you want to look at the scenery, take a tour as opposed to driving yourself.

 Big Island or Island of Hawaii- this is the youngest and largest island.  It is also still growing.  We were adventurous on this island.  We walked out onto the Volcanic rock at night to see the red flames underneath.  You can explore Akaka Falls State Park to see waterfalls. We visited the Waimea region where the Hawaiian Cowboy culture rules.  There are beautiful beaches on one side of the island and volcanic ashes on the other side.

Puerta Plata Dominican Republic Travel Agent

Most travelers have been to or heard of the Punta Cana area of the Dominican Republic. Puerta Plata is on the northeastern tip of the Dominican Republic.    My husband and I traveled to Puerta Plata.  In Punta Cana, you stay on your resort.  There is no town to visit, just beaches.  In Puerta Plata, you can walk into the town and explore or you can book an adventure.  My husband and some friends walked into town and watched the locals playing baseball (The favorite pastime of the people.)  I drank the water so you know where I was for awhile.  (don't even have ice in your drinks)

Puerta Plata is known for it's lush rainforests, sunny beaches, whale watching,  and water sports.  There is an abundance of leisure activities from gambling to parks to shopping.  

There are many adventures you can book this area - 27 Waterfalls in Amber Cove, cable car ride up the mountain, catamaran with snorkeling, visit a Rum Factory, chocolate making factory and more.  How about a buggy ride through the sugar cane fields, up the mountain and down to the beach.   I do suggest you book the adventures ahead and to not book it with someone on the streets.  You want to be safe!!

As far as where to stay, there are all-inclusive hotels for adults only and smaller hotels for adults only.  There are hotels for families, also.

Alaska Travel Agent Expert

Alaska is the place to go if you enjoy breathtaking scenery and spying wildlife in their natural habitat.
