Journey to Central Serengeti
Day 3Drive through the Serengeti (4-5 hours) with game viewing en route. Seronera is in the heart of the park with year-round wildlife. Evening game drive focusing on the Seronera River area.
Central Serengeti Safari
Day 4Full day of game drives in central Serengeti. The Seronera area is known for incredible leopard sightings, resident lion prides, and cheetahs. The river supports hippos and crocodiles year-round.
Northern Serengeti
Day 5Drive north (3-4 hours) toward the Mara River region. If visiting July-October, witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings. The northern Serengeti has stunning landscapes and excellent game viewing year-round.
Northern Serengeti Safari
Day 6Full day exploring the northern reaches. Look for resident prides that specialize in hunting buffalo, as well as elephants and giraffes. The rolling hills and kopjes provide dramatic backdrops.
Departure
Day 7Morning game drive en route to the airstrip. Fly back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro (or optionally drive back to central Serengeti and fly from Seronera). Most flights depart mid-morning.
