Curaçao: Located in the southern Caribbean Sea, off the Venezuelan coast. It includes the main island as well as the small, uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao. In the fall of 2010, Curaçao became an autonomous country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Curaçao is the most "Dutch" of its Caribbean sister islands: Aruba, Bonaire, St. Eustatius (Statia), Saba and St. Maarten. The city’s candy colored downtown is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the few found in the Caribbean. The old Portuguese/German European culture with cattle ranches and Gauchos can be seen. The beautiful Rain Forest and Iguazu Falls is breath taking. So many things to do! Anguilla was called the snake island due to its elongated shape on the map. The island has so many seagulls that sometimes they appear to be more than people on the island in number. The island also has a significant number of goats residing there, and it is feared that they will also outnumber the people living on the island. There are no more than 20 hotels on the island. It is home to many famous celebrities, and many celebs visit it on their vacations. It is houses some of the best beaches in the world. It’s not uncommon to get a beach all to yourself.  Despite it being one of the smaller Caribbean islands, Anguilla is chock-full of limestone caves to explore, wildlife to observe (like sea turtles and native birds), and sandy beaches to tan on.
