Salut!Love medieval castles, dramatic mountains, and rich history? then Romania is your next destination!
Bucharest's nick name "Little Paris" due to its elegant French influenced architecture. It was first mentioned in 1459 by Vlad III the Impaler, the city later became Romania's capital in 1862.
Tops attractions in Bucharest:
Palace of Parliament ordered by Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu in 1984, 2nd largest administrative building and heaviest building in the world.
The Old Town, historic district filled with restored 19th-century buildings, lively pubs, and cobblestone streets.
Romanian Athenaeum is an ornate, domed concert hall and symbol of Romanian classical music and Carturesti Carusel,a multi-story bookstore housed in a restored 19th-century building.
Cismigiu Gardens, the oldest and most central public park in Bucharest, ideal for a relaxed stroll or boat ride.
Bucharest offers a rich culinary scene defined by traditional Eastern European comfort foods and a fast-growing modern cafe culture. My food favorites: Sarmale,Romania's national dish of cabbage leaves tightly packed with minced meat simmered in tomato sauce served with polenta.Mici: Grilled minced meat rolls packed with garlic and spices, eaten hot with mustard and crusty bread. Ciorba:Traditional soups, including tripe soup, beef and chicken.Papanasi an iconic dessert of fried cottage cheese doughnuts topped with sour cream and tart forest berry jam
Brasov in Transylvania, ringed by the Carpathian Mountains,is known for its medieval Saxon walls and bastion.Piata Sfatului in the cobbled old town has colorful baroque buildings and is home to the Casa Sfatului,a history museum. The Black Church is the Romania's largest Gothic church, famous for its soot-blackened exterior caused by a massive fire in 1689.Mountain Tâmpa Cable Car Observation platform, located 1,400 ft. above the city, offers spectacular views. The Panoramic terrace Restaurant and Café are located on top and offers good coffee and local and international dishes.
Bran Castle,a 14th-century, Gothic fairy-tale structure is located southwest of Brasov.Associated with Walachian Prince Vlad Tepes, the inspiration for Bram Stoker novel Count Dracula. There is deep bond of local villagers with the legend.Bran Castle overlooks the village of Bran and the open-air Ethnographic Museum. Is a Halloween must!
Peles Castle:at the foot of Bucegi Mountains in Sinaia.A masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture.Peles Castle's 160 rooms are adorned with the fine European art, Murano crystal chandeliers,German stained-glass windows and Cordoba leather-covered walls.Sinaia also offers winter sports variety, ski slopes serviced by ski lift, accessible by cable car.
"Pearl of the Carpathians" or The Bucegi Mountains is an area with the most ski resorts in Romania. Sibiu is known for its romantic pastel-colored houses, alleys and peculiar "lopsided" attic windows that look like eyes watching the street.Visit Weavers' Bastion built during 1421.This is the largest and best preserved medieval bastion in Brasov.
One of my favorites:The Romanian Black Sea coast, home to numerous resorts and spa hotels.Over there resorts are named after mythological gods and goddesses, such as Jupiter, Neptun, Olimp, Saturn.Constanta is a place with an interesting past, attested by outstanding Greek and Roman vestiges and historic buildings. Sandy beaches of the Black Sea, wineries, ancient monuments and the Danube Delta are the best known attractions.Mamaia boasts numerous hotels,a casino, sporting facilities, hip nightclubs and restaurants located within 100 feet of the sea.Spend the day at Aqua Magic Park and the afternoons taking in the view of the Black Sea by riding the Telegondola (Cable Car).Between Mamaia and Constanta, you can stroll through Satul de Vacanta amusement park and several restaurants The Summer Theatre of Mamaia is the venue for the annual Romanian Pop Music Festival and various other shows.
Mangalia is rich in archeological vestiges and medical spas.Visit Callatis Archeological Museum, the Syrian Basilica and the 16th century Esmahan Sultan Mosque, the oldest mosque in Romania.Sighisoara's points of attraction are the Clock Tower.Vlad Dracul House, located in the Citadel Square, close to the Clock Tower. This ochre-colored house is the place where Vlad Tepes lived with his father, Vlad Dracul, until 1435.A wrought-iron dragon hangs above the ground floor serves as a restaurant, while the first floor is home to the Museum of Weapons.
Cantacuzino Castle situated in Busteni was built in 1911 as a summer residence for Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino. The building has a great architectural, artistic and historical value. The building was made of carved stone on the outside and brick on the inside. It has beautiful courtyards and neo-Romanian architectural exterior The Romanian castle was used for the exterior of Nevermore Academy in Season 1 of Netflix's Wednesday.
Adventure never ends in Romania,"la revedere"

Its beaches border both the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Gulf of Mexico on the west, giving our visitors a wide variety of coastal experiences as white or golden sand, clear blue-green water, palm trees, and abundant wildlife.
Popular destinations include Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Orlando and the Florida Keys. Enjoy variety of restaurants and attractions as well as water sports and outdoors activities.
Swim with dolphins, sharks, sting rays and manatees! The state's beaches also provide important habitats for sea turtles, seabirds, and other marine life. Florida's beaches offer something for almost everyone! from swimming and water sports to nature, sightseeing, and peaceful seaside relaxation.
We are the home to one of the longest underwater cave systems in the continental United States, featuring pristine spring vents and sinkholes connected by miles of subterranean tunnels.
Florida offers a unique mix of rare dry-land caverns primarily concentrated in the northern part of the state and the Panhandle where the limestone karst landscape creates massive subterranean aquifers.
Orlando is home to more than a dozen theme parks. Chief among its claims to fame is Walt Disney World, comprised of parks like the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as well as water parks. Another major destination, Universal Orlando, offers Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straddling both.
The Venice of America or Fort Lauderdale is a major coastal city in Florida known for its extensive network of boating canals and waterways. The Strip is a promenade running along oceanside highway A1A. It's lined with upscale outdoor restaurants, bars, boutiques and luxury hotels.
