One of my favorite things about traveling is getting beyond the typical tourist attractions. I’ve visited countless museums, local diners, coffee shops, and dive bars. On the side I am a photographer, and I’ve spent 20+ years exploring America. I am always looking for those special places that give a destination its personality. I love finding the little-known restaurants with great food, the local favorite bar where you can meet new people or the perfect spot to watch the sunset. I have extensive experience planning trips and complex travel itineraries. The best travel experiences aren’t always found in a guidebook. They’re often down a back road or in a quaint little town. Whether you’re thinking about a cross-country road trip, exploring America’s National Parks, visiting charming small towns, experiencing a big city, or simply finding the best places to eat/drink and explore, I bring experience and genuine excitement to every trip that I help to plan. Lets get started!

France Travel Advisor Expert

From grand boulevards and world-class museums to charming villages, vineyard-covered hills, dramatic coastlines, and alpine landscapes, every region of France offers something completely different.

I can help travelers experience both France’s iconic destinations and the places that make the country feel truly authentic. Paris offers the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, charming neighborhoods, and centuries of history around every corner.

Versailles is a must for its magnificent palace and gardens, while Lyon delivers exceptional cuisine, historic architecture, and a vibrant cultural atmosphere.

For travelers seeking spectacular scenery, I love Provence, with its lavender fields, hilltop villages, markets, and Mediterranean charm, and the French Riviera, where glamorous coastal towns, beautiful beaches, and sparkling sea views create one of Europe’s most memorable destinations. The Loire Valley offers elegant châteaux and picturesque countryside, while Normandy combines dramatic coastlines, important history, and charming seaside villages.

France’s food and wine are an experience all their own. I enjoy helping travelers discover the local bistros, family-owned restaurants, wine regions, markets, cafés, bakeries and small towns where some of the most memorable experiences can be found.

Beyond the major attractions, destinations like Bordeaux, Burgundy and the French Alps offer completely different sides of French culture and landscape. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, a food-and-wine adventure, a cultural journey, or an unforgettable multi-city trip, I can help you with an itinerary that balances France’s famous destinations with an authentic local experience.

France isn’t just somewhere you visit, it is somewhere you experience. The food, history, art, people, landscapes and effortless way of life have a way of staying with you long after you return home.

Italy Travel Advisor Expert

Few places combine history, culture, incredible food, breathtaking scenery, and unforgettable experiences quite like Italy. From ancient ruins and Renaissance masterpieces to coastal villages, rolling vineyards, and mountain landscapes, every region offers something completely different.

I can help travelers experience both the iconic destinations and the places that make Italy feel truly authentic. Rome offers the Colosseum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, and centuries of history around every corner.

Florence is a must for art, architecture, and Renaissance culture, while Venice delivers its famous canals, historic streets, and unique atmosphere. For travelers seeking spectacular scenery, I love Tuscany, with its vineyards, hilltop villages, wineries, and countryside drives, and the Amalfi Coast, where dramatic cliffs, colorful villages, and Mediterranean views create one of Europe’s most memorable destinations.

Lake Como offers elegant lakeside towns and mountain scenery, while Cinque Terre offers colorful coastal villages with beautiful hiking trails.

Italy’s food and wine are an experience all their own. I enjoy helping travelers discover local trattorias, family-owned restaurants, wine regions, markets, cafés, and small towns where some of the most memorable meals can be found.

Beyond the major attractions, destinations such as Sicily, Naples and the Dolomites offer completely different sides of Italian culture and landscape.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, a food-and-wine adventure, a cultural journey, or an unforgettable multi-city trip, I can help create an itinerary that balances Italy’s famous landmarks with authentic local experiences. Italy isn’t just somewhere you visit, it is somewhere you experience.

The food, history, people, landscapes, and slower pace of life have a way of staying with you long after you come home. It is one of the most amazing countries on earth!

Europe Travel Agent Specialist

What makes European travel so special is the incredible variety packed into a relatively small area—from centuries-old cities and world-famous landmarks to charming villages, coastal escapes, mountain landscapes, phenomenal food, and unforgettable nightlife.

I can help travelers experience Europe far beyond the typical tourist checklist. In France, that might mean Paris, the French Riviera, Provence, or the wine regions of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Italy offers endless possibilities, from Rome, Florence, and Venice to the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Lake Como, and the Dolomites.

I love combining Barcelona and Madrid with Seville, Granada, the Costa del Sol, or the islands of Mallorca and Ibiza. Greece is perfect for travelers looking for a combination of ancient history, incredible cuisine, and beautiful islands such as Santorini, Mykonos, and Crete.

Portugal offers Lisbon, Porto, the Douro Valley, and the beaches of the Algarve, while Ireland delivers dramatic coastal scenery, historic castles, lively pubs, and unforgettable countryside drives.

I can help plan adventures through Switzerland, including the Alps, Lucerne, Interlaken, and Zermatt. Austria, with Vienna, Salzburg, and the Austrian Alps.  Germany, from Munich and Berlin to the Romantic Road and Bavaria.

For something different, Croatia offers spectacular Adriatic coastline and historic cities such as Dubrovnik and Split.

Europe is living breathing history at your fingertips Whether you’re looking for a European city break, a romantic getaway, a Mediterranean beach vacation, a food and wine adventure, a scenic road trip, or a multi-country journey, I can help put the pieces together. I know how to balance major attractions with smaller towns, local restaurants, authentic bars, cultural experiences, and the unexpected discoveries that often become the best memories.

Europe isn’t simply one destination, t’s hundreds of different experiences, cultures, landscapes, and stories waiting to be explored. My goal is to help travelers discover the Europe that fits their interests and turn a trip across the Atlantic into an experience they’ll never forget.

Glacier National Park Travel Advisor Expert

Glacier National Park is one of those rare places that feels almost too beautiful to be real. Located in the northern Rocky Mountains of Montana along the Canadian border, Glacier combines towering peaks, pristine alpine lakes, massive glaciers, waterfalls, wildlife, and some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in North America.

My expertise with Glacier comes from experiencing the park and the surrounding Montana landscape firsthand. I’ve driven the Going-to-the-Sun Road, one of the great scenic drives in America, where every turn reveals another incredible view of the mountains and waterfalls. Crossing Logan Pass and seeing the landscape open up around you is an experience that belongs on every outdoor traveler’s list.

For hikers, Glacier is extraordinary. I love helping travelers discover everything from accessible trails and scenic overlooks to more challenging hikes through alpine terrain. The Highline Trail, Hidden Lake and the trails around Many Glacier offer completely different experiences, and choosing the right hike for your ability and interests can make a huge difference in your trip.

I have spent many days and nights exploring the park and I would love to help you plan your next trip to Glacier!

Yosemite National Park Travel Advisor Expert

Yosemite National Park is one of those destinations that never quite prepares you for what you are about to see. From the moment you enter the Sierra Nevada landscape, the enormous granite walls, waterfalls, giant sequoias, alpine meadows, and sweeping mountain views make it clear why Yosemite is considered one of America’s greatest natural treasures.

I specialize in helping travelers experience Yosemite beyond simply checking the park off a list. I can help design an itinerary around the type of experience you want, whether that means standing beneath the towering granite walls of Yosemite Valley, photographing the sunrise at Tunnel View, hiking to Yosemite Falls, exploring Glacier Point, walking among the giant sequoias of Mariposa Grove, or finding quieter corners of the park away from the busiest areas.

I have spent many days and nights in and around the park and I would be thrilled to help you plan your next trip to Yosemite!

Seattle Travel Agent Expert

Seattle, my favorite city in the country! I have spent so much time in Seattle, it feel a bit like a second home.I love the energy and character of the city, from wandering through Pike Place Market and experiencing its fantastic cuisine and local vendors to exploring the Museum of Pop Culture and discovering the unique culture that makes Seattle unlike anywhere else I have ever been. The main reason Seattle is my favorite city though, is because you can drive an hour in any direction and be somewhere totally amazing, just a short drive from the big city.

There is so much fun to be had in and around Seattle and I would be thrilled to help you plan a trip there!

Canada Travel Agent Expert

Canada has always felt like one of the greatest privileges of being fortunate enough to live next door. I’ve experienced the famous destinations that belong on every traveler’s list, but I’ve also spent time wandering through smaller towns, discovering local restaurants, neighborhood pubs, dive bars, scenic backroads, and the places you don’t necessarily find in a guidebook.Canada is, without question, one of the most beautiful countries on earth and I love helping travelers experience more of it than just the obvious highlights.

British Columbia is where mountains meet the Pacific, and it offers an incredible combination of wilderness, coastline, cities, and adventure.  Vancouver offers world-class food, and an unbeatable combination of urban life and surrounding nature. I also love the character of places like Tofino and the smaller coastal towns. For outdoor travelers, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, Yoho, Kootenay, Glacier, Mount Revelstoke, and the Gulf Islands show off the extraordinary diversity of BC, from temperate rainforest and beaches to glaciers and alpine landscapes.

Alberta is synonymous with the Canadian Rockies, and few places have impressed me more. Banff National Park and the surrounding Rockies provide spectacular mountain scenery, lakes, wildlife, hiking, skiing, and road trips. Jasper offers a wilder, more expansive feeling, while Waterton Lakes provides another Rocky Mountain experience. Away from the mountains, I’ve explored Alberta’s prairie towns and the landscapes around Drumheller and the Canadian Badlands.

Saskatchewan is often underestimated, which is exactly why I enjoy sending travelers there. Saskatoon and Regina provide great food, culture, breweries, live music, and a genuine local atmosphere, while smaller communities offer a completely different side of Canada. Grasslands National Park is especially memorable, with wide-open prairie, incredible wildlife, and some of the darkest skies in Canada. Prince Albert National Park and the lakes and forests farther north demonstrate just how much variety exists beyond the prairie landscape.

Manitoba combines prairie landscapes, forests, lakes, wildlife, and one of Canada’s most interesting cities. Winnipeg has a fantastic cultural and culinary scene, and I enjoy exploring beyond the downtown attractions to find independent restaurants, local pubs, and neighborhood character. Riding Mountain National Park is a wonderful escape, while the Whiteshell region offers lakes, forests, hiking, and cottage-country scenery. Further north, Churchill provides an unforgettable gateway to Canada’s incredible northern wilderness and wildlife.

Ontario offers an enormous range of experiences, from major cities to remote wilderness. Toronto is one of my favorite Canadian cities to explore for its incredible diversity of neighborhoods, restaurants, nightlife, markets, museums, and cultural experiences. Ottawa provides Canada’s capital experience, while Niagara Falls is an obvious must-see. For nature lovers, Algonquin Country and Thousand Islands offer dramatically different landscapes and outdoor experiences.

Quebec feels like another world while still being unmistakably Canadian. Montreal is exceptional for food, nightlife, music, festivals, neighborhoods, and culture, while Quebec City offers history, architecture, cobblestone streets, and European character.

Newfoundland and Labrador may be one of Canada’s most rewarding destinations for travelers willing to venture farther east. St. John’s is colorful, historic, lively, and full of character, with outstanding seafood, local pubs, music, and some wonderfully eccentric places to grab a drink or a meal. Beyond St. John’s, I’ve explored the coastline, fishing towns, scenic roads, and the spectacular landscapes of Gros Morne National Park and Terra Nova National Park. The province offers dramatic cliffs, fjords, mountains, ocean views, wildlife, and some of the most welcoming people you’ll encounter anywhere in the country.

What makes my Canadian travel experience different is that I don’t just know the famous attractions, I’ve taken the time to explore the roads between them.

Whether you’re looking for a Rocky Mountain adventure in Alberta, a Pacific Northwest escape in British Columbia, a city-and-food experience in Ontario or Quebec, the wide-open landscapes of the Prairies, or the rugged beauty and culture of Newfoundland, I can help you plan a Canadian journey around the way you actually like to travel. Canada is vast, diverse, welcoming, and incredibly beautiful. Having it as my neighbor is something I never take for granted, and after exploring so much of it myself, I’m excited to help others discover it.

Florida Travel Agent Specialist

Florida is a place I know from personal experience. I lived in Naples for several years, and during that time I explored every corner of the state. I’ve traveled to the typical Florida vacation spots and walked the beaches, natural wonders, restaurants, nightlife, history, and hidden gems that make Florida so much more than a theme-park destination.

I know Southwest Florida especially well. From relaxing on the immaculate beaches of Marco Island and exploring the Gulf Coast around Naples to finding the laid-back beach bars, dive bars, museums, and lesser-known places that create the areas good beach state vibes.

I’ve explored the wild side of the state as well, including the Everglades, where Florida feels completely different from the beaches and resorts. I love helping travelers discover the natural side of Florida, wildlife, scenic drives, kayaking, fishing, hiking, air boat adventures, beautiful viewpoints, and places where you can get away from the crowds.

The Florida every child in us dreams about. I know how to plan the perfect Disney World experience, whether it’s a family vacation centered around the parks or a larger trip that combines Disney with everything else Central Florida has to offer. I can also help navigate the resort areas, attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and hidden spots that can turn a standard vacation into something much more memorable.     Side note: A trip to Disney World with the kids can turn to disaster in a hurry with improper planning. I know! I learned this the hard way with my first Disney trip.

I know Miami from a completely different perspective too. There’s the glamour, beaches, fantastic restaurants, wild nightlife, lots of music, culture, museums, and energy that make Miami unlike anywhere else in the country. There are also neighborhoods and local establishments that give the city a character you can miss if you only visit the major attractions.

Few Florida road trips compare to driving all the way down to Key West. The drive through the Florida Keys is part of the experience, the bridges, the island towns, roadside stops, quirky dive bars, fishing culture and spectacular sunsets. Key West has its own vibe that's different from anywhere else.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation, a family trip to Disney World, a romantic escape to the Keys, an air boat ride through the Everglades, a Miami weekend filled with food and nightlife, or a road trip exploring the state from top to bottom, I can help create a vacation that caters to what you want to see and do.

New York State Travel Agent Specialist

New York State isn’t a travel destination for me, it’s home. I grew up here and have spent most of my life exploring Upstate New York, and over the years I’ve come to have a deep appreciation for just how incredibly diverse this state really is. From the rugged mountains and quiet backroads of the Adirondacks and Catskills to the energy and excitement of New York City, I know how to help travelers experience New York at it's finest.

I’ve explored the Adirondacks, the mountain peaks and pristine lakes, secluded trails, scenic overlooks, fishing spots, mountain towns, and places where you can get away from it all and relax. I know the Catskills for their waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain scenery and hidden places that many visitors never knew were there. I can take you through the Finger Lakes, where beautiful wineries, lakeside towns, best restaurants, waterfalls, hiking trails, and viewpoints make every road trip feel like an adventure.

I know the best ways to experience places like Saratoga Springs, whether you’re looking for history, horse racing, great food, nightlife, or a relaxing weekend getaway.

Of course, New York is also home to one of the greatest cities in the world. I can help you experience New York City beyond the obvious attractions, from world-class museums and restaurants to neighborhoods, hidden gems, unique bars, entertainment, history and different ideas that allow you to enjoy the city like a local. The nightlife never ends in the city that never sleeps!

From Hyde Park and the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt to many other historic sites, there is always another story to discover. In New York, you can change the entire experience simply by changing direction. One day you can be hiking through the mountains, the next exploring a vineyard overlooking a Finger Lake, and the next sitting in a little-known local restaurant or dive bar discovering something you never would have found in a guidebook. I know the places that are worth stopping for, and just as importantly, the places that are worth taking the long way to reach. I know restaurants, diners, dive bars, museums, hiking trails, fishing locations, off-road adventures, scenic overlooks, waterfalls, historic sites, and the small communities that give each part of New York its own personality.

Whether you want an outdoor adventure in the Adirondacks, a romantic Finger Lakes getaway, a weekend in Saratoga Springs, a family trip to Niagara Falls, a history-filled journey through the Hudson Valley, or an unforgettable experience in New York City, I can help you build a trip around what you actually want to experience. Because I grew up here, I don’t know New York from a map. I know it from the roads, trails, small towns, conversations and so many lifetime adventures that make this state so special to me.

Colorado Travel Agent Expert

Colorado is one of those places I never get tired of exploring. I have driven throughout the entire state, from Denver and the Front Range to the remote San Juan Mountains and the Western Slope, exploring major destinations, tiny mountain communities, backroads, scenic byways, national parks, ski resorts, restaurants, local bars and countless trails along the way.

I love Denver for its combination of city energy and immediate access to the mountains. I’ve explored neighborhoods throughout the city, along with its museums, breweries, restaurants, live-music venues and professional sports. A trip to Denver isn’t complete without experiencing Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, one of the most spectacular concert venues in the world.

Colorado’s four national parks each offer something completely different. Rocky Mountain National Park is a spectacular world of towering peaks, alpine lakes, waterfalls, wildlife and high-country trails. I love exploring the areas around Estes Park and Grand Lake and helping travelers choose hikes that fit their interests and abilities. Great Sand Dunes National Park is one of Colorado’s most unusual landscapes, where enormous sand dunes meet the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Hiking, sandboarding, stargazing and exploring Medano Creek make this an unforgettable stop. Mesa Verde National Park combines breathtaking scenery with the incredible history of the Ancestral Pueblo people and their cliff dwellings. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is dramatic, rugged and far less crowded than many famous national parks. Standing above the canyon and looking down its nearly vertical walls is an experience I’ll never forget.

Colorado is world-famous for skiing, but I believe choosing the right town is just as important as choosing the right mountain. I’ve explored Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Winter Park, Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Snowmass, Crested Butte and Telluride. Breckenridge offers historic charm and a lively downtown. Vail and Beaver Creek provide a more upscale resort experience. Steamboat retains a wonderful Western character, while Crested Butte feels independent, colorful and adventurous. Aspen combines spectacular scenery with exceptional dining, shopping and nightlife. And Telluride, tucked into a dramatic box canyon is simply one of the most beautiful mountain towns I’ve experienced.

I also love the smaller communities that often get overlooked. These towns are where travelers can slow down, meet locals and experience a different side of Colorado. Colorado is an outdoor playground, and some of my favorite experiences come from getting away from the crowds. Maroon Bells is an iconic example, but I also love seeking out quieter trails, alpine lakes, waterfalls, wildflower-covered mountains and remote stretches of wilderness.

Depending on the traveler, I can help build adventures around hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fly-fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, kayaking, paddleboarding, camping, snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling and scenic drives.  I look for everything from outstanding destination restaurants and upscale mountain dining to burger joints, diners, barbecue, breweries and small-town restaurants that don’t necessarily make the tourist lists. I especially enjoy finding the old-school dive bars and local hangouts, the places with worn wooden bars, cold drinks, good food and a bartender who knows the regulars. Those experiences often tell you more about a town than any guidebook can.

What makes my Colorado expertise different is that I know the state from personal experience. I know the feeling of driving into a tiny mountain town after hours on the road, discovering a great local restaurant, finding a quiet trail or coming around a bend and suddenly seeing enormous Rocky Mountain peaks. Whether you’re dreaming of skiing in Breckenridge, hiking beneath the Maroon Bells, exploring a national park, catching a concert at Red Rocks, soaking in a mountain hot spring or disappearing down a backroad toward a town most travelers have never heard of, I can help create the right Colorado experience. Colorado is a state I’ve explored from end to end, and it’s a place I genuinely love helping other travelers discover.

Las Vegas Travel Agent Planner

Nevada is a state that is far more diverse than many travelers realize. I have experienced everything from the bright lights and nonstop energy of Las Vegas to the quiet mountain landscapes, desert highways, historic desert towns, and wide-open spaces that make the rest of the state feel wonderfully remote.

Las Vegas! I have explored the city’s hotels, restaurants, entertainment, nightlife, attractions, and surrounding areas. Las Vegas offers an incredible range of experiences, from fine dining, live shows, concerts, crazy/fun museums and luxury resorts to local restaurants, unique dive bars, outdoor adventures, and hidden gems away from the main tourist areas. I can help travelers choose the right neighborhood, hotel, restaurants, shows, activities, and pace based on whether they want a high-energy getaway, a relaxing resort stay, a food-focused trip, a celebration, or a combination of city life and outdoor exploration.

Beyond Las Vegas, I have explored the natural landscapes surrounding the city, including the dramatic scenery of Red Rock Canyon and the desert areas that make southern Nevada so distinctive. The contrast between the colorful sandstone formations, rugged mountains, and nearby city skyline creates some of the most memorable scenery in the state. I can help travelers plan scenic drives, hikes, sunrise and sunset outings, photography stops, and outdoor activities while keeping seasonal temperatures, trail conditions, reservations, and travel time in mind.

I have also explored Great Basin National Park, one of Nevada’s most remarkable and underrated destinations. The park offers a completely different experience from the desert landscapes most people associate with the state. Great Basin is home to towering mountain scenery, ancient bristlecone pine trees, alpine lakes, caves, wildlife, and dark skies that make it an exceptional place for stargazing. I have experienced the park’s scenic drives, hiking opportunities, and peaceful high-elevation environment, where the landscape changes dramatically as you gain elevation. Lehman Caves is one of the highlights of Great Basin National Park and offers travelers the chance to explore an intricate underground world filled with unusual formations and fascinating geology. The cave tours require planning and reservations, but they add a memorable dimension to a visit. Above ground, trails such as those leading toward alpine lakes and bristlecone pine groves showcase the park’s incredible variety. Great Basin is especially rewarding for travelers who enjoy hiking, geology, photography, solitude, scenic drives, and destinations that feel far removed from the usual tourist routes.

Driving in the middle of nowhere can be one of the most memorable parts of a Nevada trip, but it also requires thoughtful preparation. Fuel stations can be far apart, cell service may be limited, and weather conditions can change quickly, especially in higher elevations or during winter.

Reno offers a very different atmosphere from Las Vegas and is another destination I know firsthand. Located near the Sierra Nevada, Reno combines casinos, restaurants, entertainment, outdoor recreation, and access to beautiful mountain and desert landscapes. The city is also a convenient base for exploring nearby destinations such as Lake Tahoe, the Truckee River, Virginia City, and the surrounding high desert.

Virginia City and other former mining towns offer a glimpse into the state’s frontier history, with historic buildings, old saloons, museums and stories connected to Nevada’s mining past. These communities provide a fascinating contrast to the modern resorts of Las Vegas and Reno and can add depth to a Nevada road trip.

From the mountains of Great Basin to the red rocks near Las Vegas and the open desert between Reno and Las Vegas, the state rewards travelers who are willing to slow down and explore beyond the major cities. I understand how important it is to plan around heat, elevation, road conditions, limited services, park access, trail difficulty, and the amount of time needed to travel comfortably through remote areas. Nevada is bold, surprising, and full of contrasts.

My experience traveling throughout Nevada allows me to help travelers create trips that feel personal and adventurous. Whether someone is planning a Las Vegas party trip, a Reno and Lake Tahoe getaway, a scenic road trip between Reno and Las Vegas, a historic mining-town tour, a desert hiking trip, or a journey through Nevada’s remote landscapes, I can help bring the itinerary together. My goal is to help travelers experience Nevada in a way that reflects its true character and creates many memories you will remember forever..

Arizona Travel Agent Specialist

Arizona is a state I have explored extensively, and it remains one of the most diverse and unforgettable destinations in the country. The American southwest has some of the most unique and naturally beautiful scenery in the world. I have traveled through its dramatic landscapes, experiencing everything from red-rock canyons and desert valleys to pine-covered mountains, high-elevation forests, and wide-open backroads.

Every region has its own personality, and I have enjoyed discovering Arizona not only through its famous attractions, but through its small towns, local businesses, historic sites, scenic drives, and unexpected stops along the way.

I have explored the Grand Canyon and experienced the incredible scale, color, and beauty that make it one of Arizona’s most iconic destinations. One of the most memorable experiences was hiking through the canyon to Havasu Falls. The journey is challenging and rewarding, leading through the rugged canyon landscape to the brilliant turquoise water and intimidating surroundings of Havasu Canyon. Havasu Falls feels especially remote and unique because there are no roads connecting the community to the outside world. It is one of the only places in the country where mail is still transported in and out by mule, adding to the area’s remarkable sense of isolation and tradition. Reaching the falls requires careful planning, physical preparation, permits, and respect for the land and local community, but the experience is unforgettable.

Standing along the Grand Canyon’s rim, watching the light change across the canyon walls, and taking in the vastness of the landscape creates an experience that is difficult to describe until you see it in person. I can help travelers choose viewpoints, hikes, scenic routes, and activities that match their interests, fitness levels, timing, and comfort with desert terrain.

Sedona is another area I know firsthand. One of my favorite destinations in the USA. I have explored its striking red-rock formations, scenic trails, overlooks, and peaceful desert landscapes. Sedona offers opportunities for hiking, photography, wellness, art, dining, and simply slowing down to appreciate the scenery. Whether travelers want to explore popular trails, find quieter viewpoints, enjoy a relaxing retreat, or experience the town’s creative and spiritual atmosphere, I can help create an itinerary that balances your adventure with time to unwind.

I have also spent time exploring Arizona’s desert lakes, rivers, and outdoor recreation areas. Places such as Lake Havasu, Lake Powell, and the Salt River offer opportunities for boating, swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and relaxing along the water. These destinations provide a refreshing contrast to the surrounding desert and can be wonderful additions to a road trip or warm-weather getaway. I can help travelers choose the right area based on their preferred activities, travel style, and desired pace.

One of my favorite parts of traveling through Arizona has been discovering its local character. I have sought out great restaurants, casual bars, coffee shops, roadside stops, and hidden gems in places such as Flagstaff, Tucson, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Prescott, and Page. These communities each offer a different perspective on Arizona, from historic downtowns and Southwestern cuisine to lively nightlife, local art, and outdoor culture. I enjoy finding the places where locals gather and helping travelers experience the personality of each destination rather than simply passing through.

I have explored Arizona’s historic mining towns, desert communities, and scenic backroads. Places such as Jerome, Bisbee, Tombstone, and Wickenburg offer fascinating connections to the state’s mining, ranching, and frontier history. Walking through historic districts, visiting old buildings, learning local stories, and discovering independent shops and restaurants can add depth and character to an Arizona itinerary. These experiences are especially rewarding for travelers who want to understand the state beyond its major natural attractions.

Arizona’s national parks, monuments, and protected landscapes offer endless opportunities for exploration. In addition to the Grand Canyon, I have experienced areas such as Petrified Forest National Park, Saguaro National Park, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, and the landscapes around Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon. Each destination has its own scenery, access considerations, seasonal conditions, and ideal length of stay. I know from experience how important it is to plan carefully around driving distances, heat, trail conditions, park reservations, crowds, permits, and the amount of time needed to explore comfortably, and I would be excited to help plan your trip to the American southwest.

Montana Travel Agent Specialist

Montana is a state I have explored from end to end, and it remains one of the places I never get tired of experiencing. I have driven across the entire state, taking in its dramatic changes in scenery, from wide-open prairie and rolling farmland to rugged mountain ranges, alpine lakes, forested valleys, and quiet backroads. Every region has its own personality, and I have enjoyed getting to know Montana not just through its famous attractions, but through the small towns, local businesses, historic sites, and unexpected stops along the way.

I have explored historic ghost towns that tell the story of Montana’s mining and frontier past. Walking through these old settlements, seeing the weathered buildings, and imagining the people who once lived and worked there gives the state’s history a very personal sense of place. These are the kinds of experiences I especially enjoy sharing with travelers who want to enjoy Montana beyond its scenery.

Glacier National Park is another area I know very well. I have spent time hiking through the park, seeking out beautiful sunrise viewpoints, mountain trails, waterfalls, and the incredible landscapes that make Glacier so unforgettable. There is something special about being on the trail early in the morning, watching the light move across the mountains, listening to the waterfalls, and experiencing the quiet before the day becomes busy. I can help travelers choose hikes and viewpoints that match their interests, fitness levels, timing and comfort with the mountain terrain.

I have spent time on Flathead Lake, floating in its crystal-clear waters and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the surrounding mountains. The lake is a wonderful place to slow down, take in the scenery, and experience a different side of Montana. Whether travelers are interested in boating, swimming, relaxing along the shoreline, or using the area as a base for exploring nearby communities and outdoor attractions, I can help create an itinerary that balances adventure with time to unwind.

One of my favorite parts of traveling through Montana has been discovering its local character. I have sought out the best dive bars, casual restaurants, and hidden gems in Whitefish, Bozeman, Butte and Helena. These places offer a more authentic look at Montana and often become some of the most memorable parts of a trip. I enjoy finding the spots where locals gather, trying regional food and drinks, and helping travelers experience the personality of each town rather than simply passing through.

I have explored the West Yellowstone area and experienced its role as an incredible gateway to Yellowstone National Park. From there, travelers can enjoy access to remarkable wildlife, geothermal features, scenic drives, and some of the most iconic landscapes in the country. I understand how important it is to plan carefully in this region, especially when considering seasonal road access, driving distances, wildlife viewing, park crowds, and the amount of time needed to explore comfortably.

Montana is gorgeous, wild, and full of places that reward travelers who are willing to slow down and get off the beaten path. It is a state where the journey between destinations can be just as memorable as the destinations themselves. My experience traveling throughout Montana allows me to help travelers build trips that feel personal, realistic, and meaningful.

I can recommend scenic routes, outdoor adventures, historic sites, local restaurants, small-town stops, and quiet places to enjoy the landscape. Whether you are planning a hiking-focused getaway, a road trip through the mountains, a relaxing stay near Flathead Lake, an adventure around Glacier National Park, a Yellowstone vacation, or a combination of all of these experiences, I can help bring the trip together comfortably and I would be very excited to help you do it.

Washington State Travel Agent Expert

Washington is a state that I never get tired of exploring, and I return to visit the state, at least once a year. From the majesty of Mount Rainier to the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Washington offers an incredible combination of adventure, culture, food, music, and scenery and I’ve experienced it all firsthand.

At the center of it all for me is Seattle, my favorite city in the country. I love the energy and character of the city, from wandering through Pike Place Market and experiencing its ifantastic cuisine and local vendors to exploring the Museum of Pop Culture and discovering the unique culture that makes Seattle unlike anywhere else I have ever been. The main reason Seattle is my favorite city though, is because you can drive an hour in any direction and be somewhere totally amazing. Washington’s magic extends way beyond Seattle.

North Cascades National Park is among the most beautiful places on earth. It has been referred to as the American Alps! The vastness and relative lack of crowds makes the experience even more special. The mountains, turquoise lakes, forests, and winding roads create the kind of scenery that makes you want to stop the car every 3 minutes and take in as much as you can, for as long as you can.

Then there’s Mount Rainier, one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes I’ve ever explored. Its sheer size and presence are breathtaking, whether you’re exploring its trails, driving through the surrounding scenery, or seeing it rise above the landscape from a distance.

Washington also happens to be a dream destination for food lovers. The seafood is incredible, with the Pacific Ocean and Puget Sound providing some of the freshest and most memorable seafood I’ve ever had. Add in the state’s breweries, coffee culture, farmers markets, restaurants, and diverse communities, and there’s an awesome pub/restaurant waiting for you almost everywhere you go.

For music lovers, besides almost every night in Seattle, there’s The Gorge. Set against one of the most spectacular natural backdrops imaginable, it is, in my opinion, the best live music venue on Earth. Seeing a concert there as the sun sets over the Columbia River is an experience that belongs on every music lover’s bucket list.

Olympic National Park may be Washington’s ultimate showcase of diversity. It’s one of the rare places where you can experience three distinct temperate ecosystems in a single day, from a lush rainforest to the rugged coastline to the alpine mountain terrain. It feels less like visiting one park and more like traveling through several different worlds.

Leavenworth is another Washington hidden treasure, especially around the holidays. Tucked into the mountains, this beautiful Bavarian style village feels like a hidden holiday escape, with gorgeous architecture, seasonal celebrations and a very warm welcoming atmosphere. Visiting Leavenworth during the Christmas season is like stepping into that storybook village under the snowy peaks, from the many Christmas stories that you were read as a child.

That’s what I love most about Washington. You can experience a world-class city, explore the most dramatic mountains in America, walk through a rainforest, relax on the coast and all within the same state.

Whether your perfect trip involves hiking through the mountains, exploring Seattle, discovering small communities, enjoying good food, taking a scenic road trip, or enjoying a concert at The Gorge, I can help create an adventure that you’ll remember for years. Washington isn’t somewhere I’ve just visited. It’s a place I’ve explored, experienced, and fallen in love with and I would be excited to help you discover it for yourself.

California Travel Agent Advisor

California is more than a destination to me. It is a place I’ve explored, experienced, and come to know firsthand. My sister has lived in Los Angeles for 22 years and we have had some fantastic adventures in and outside of the city. I bring personal experience, joy and passion for helping travelers discover everything the Golden State has to offer.

From California’s spectacular national parks and rugged coastline to its iconic cities, charming small towns, lakes, mountains, beaches, bistros, dive bars and hidden gems. California has it all and I believe the best trips are built around the experiences that make a destination memorable.

I have spent significant time in all of its major cities, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Sacramento. Day trips to Disneyland, Mount Shasta, Mount Whitney, Muir Woods, Lake Tahoe, Mammoth Lakes and Mono Lake. I’ve driven the entire California coastline and explored all of the beach towns along the way. I have found many of the local favorite spots to drink and dine, while chatting it up with the locals. My recommendations are almost endless throughout the state.

What I love most about California is its incredible variety. In one trip, you can experience a world-class city, drive through breathtaking mountain scenery, relax on the Pacific coast, explore a national park, and finish the day in a charming little town with a great local restaurant or hidden gem, taking in a California sunset.

My goal as your travel advisor is to help you turn my experience and knowledge into a trip that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, family fun, incredible scenery, food and culture, or a little bit of everything, I can help you experience California beyond the typical tourist stops.

California is a place I know, love, and would be genuinely excited to help you discover.

Oregon Travel Agent Advisor

Oregon has everything that I love about the outdoors, from beautiful mountains, lakes, and waterfalls to a rugged coastline, wide-open desert, towering trees, and winding rivers. Camping, fishing, hiking, rafting, skiing and any other outdoor activity is greatly enhanced while doing it in Oregon.

I had wanted to visit Oregon ever since I saw The Goonies as a kid. One of the first places I traveled to was Astoria, where the movie was filmed, and visiting the locations that had captured my imagination was an awesome experience. That trip sparked an even deeper appreciation for Oregon and inspired me to explore more of what the state has to offer.

I’ve traveled throughout Oregon, experiencing all of its diverse regions and discovering the unique character each one has to offer.

And then there’s Crater Lake. It is easily one of the most naturally beautiful places on the planet. It is the deepest lake in the nation, with the clearest water in the world. No inlet or outlet, just a giant hole in the earth that has filled with melting snow and rain for the last 7,700 years. The deep blue water surrounded by jagged volcanic peaks creates a landscape unlike anything else I have even seen in person, and it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you leave.

Oregon is also home to some of the most spectacular waterfalls on Earth. From powerful cascades tucked into lush forests to scenic drives through the Columbia River Gorge, the state offers endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. If you love beautiful cascading waterfalls that look like they're straight out of a fairytale, you will love this state

Oregon’s beauty doesn’t end with its mountains, lakes and forests. You can walk along the Pacific coast, explore the high desert, stand beneath enormous old-growth trees, or ride a river through a scenic valley. Few places offer such an incredible variety of landscapes within one state.

Oregon is also a destination for food lovers. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had has been in Oregon, and I love discovering the local restaurants, markets, breweries, and small-town spots that give each part of the state its own personality.

Bend is a particular favorite, with all of its unique breweries and lively atmosphere. What makes Oregon special to me is that it offers everything that I love in one state. You can spend the morning hiking through an ancient forest, chase waterfalls in the afternoon, enjoy a good meal along the coast, browse the local small town shops, and end the day surrounded by mountains, or a spectacular Pacific Northwest sunset.

I can help you discover the Oregon that fits you, whether that means outdoor adventure, breathtaking scenery, incredible food, coastal escapes, waterfall chasing road trips, relaxation, brewery and shopping experiences, or finding the special places that most travelers drive right past.

Oregon is my favorite state! Wild, beautiful, diverse, and endlessly rewarding to explore. I would be very excited to help you experience it for yourself!

Nick is the best!

Reviewed By MareBear - Los Angeles | Traveled to Seattle | Washington | USA

I've taken several road trips (east coast and pacific northwest) based on Nick's reccos/organization, and I would highly recommend him! He's very experienced and equally knowledgable on guidebook suggested sites, as well as the more off-the-beaten-path things to see and do that should not be missed. For instance, we would have missed the Museum of Pop Culture on our trip to Seattle if not for Nick's suggestion, and it was SO worth it.
