Texas Expert Travel Agent

Texas is BIG, it is so big it’s almost impossible to see it all. The more I explore Texas, the more I realize how much there is to discover. From big cities and charming small towns to beautiful Hill Country scenery, incredible shopping, family adventures, sports, concerts, and events, there is always something to do and explore.

Austin is a city that always seems to have something going on. Known for live music, great food, and outdoor adventures, it is perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer Texas adventure. One of my favorite stops near Austin is Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que. If you love barbecue, you have to try the beef ribs. They are HUGE! Austin is also a great place to enjoy the outdoors, with Lady Bird Lake, trails, and plenty to explore.

San Antonio is another place definitely worth visiting, especially for a family trip. The River Walk is a must-see, with restaurants, shops, beautiful scenery, and plenty of places to wander. Of course, you can’t visit San Antonio without seeing the Alamo and learning about the city’s great history. Add in great food, shopping, and family-friendly attractions, and you have plenty to fill your itinerary.

Right between Austin and San Antonio is one of my favorite shopping stops, San Marcos. The San Marcos Premium Outlets are AMAZING! If you love to shop, you definitely need to make time for this one. You’ll find designer names like Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Ferragamo, along with plenty of other popular brands. Just be prepared to leave with more bags than you planned on. If you are like me, you'll have to pack an empty suitcase.

New Braunfels is a fun destination for families. During the warmer months, Schlitterbahn is a must! With water slides, rides, rivers, and plenty of ways to cool off, it is the perfect place to spend a summer day.

Dallas is a city with plenty happening, whether you’re looking for shopping, family activities, restaurants, sports, concerts, or events. NorthPark Center is one of my favorite places to shop, and if you’re looking for outlet deals, Grapevine Mills is another great stop. For a fun family experience, the Dallas World Aquarium is definitely worth a visit. It is so much more than just a zoo, it's also an aquarium and an out of this world experience. Then, if you’re hungry stop by Lolo’s Chicken & Waffles, or head to Snooze Eatery for pineapple upside down pancakes, you definitely won't forget! If breakfast isn't what you're craving you can stop by Rusty Taco to try the best queso i have ever had.

In the other half of DFW, Fort Worth brings the cowboy side of Texas to life. Head to the Fort Worth Stockyards to watch the cattle drive, explore the shops, enjoy some Texas barbecue, and take in the western atmosphere.

Houston is a fun destination, especially when traveling with kids. One of my favorite places to visit with my daughter is the Children’s Museum Houston. She absolutely loves it! Kids can have fun, explore, and learn all at the same time. Houston also has plenty of food, museums, shopping, sports, concerts, and events.

If you’re looking for a slower pace, the Texas Hill Country is the perfect change of scenery. Rolling hills, charming towns, wineries, local shops, and beautiful scenery make it a wonderful place to relax and explore. Fredericksburg is a favorite for spending the day shopping, eating, and enjoying the small-town atmosphere.

Texas is also a great destination for sports and entertainment. You can plan a trip around a professional game, concert, festival, fair, rodeo, or other major event. Sometimes the event itself is the reason to go!

Galveston, Corpus Christi, and South Padre Island are just three examples of a good reason to head south to the Gulf Coast of Texas. From Galveston's charming historic streets and laid-back beaches, to Corpus Christi's waterfront atmosphere and outdoor adventures, to South Padre Island's warm Gulf waters, sandy beaches, and tropical vibe- there's a lot to pick from. Whether you visit one or all of these coastal cities, you're in for a good time.

Outside all of these cities, there are still countless small towns, restaurants, outdoor adventures, beaches, state parks, sporting events, concerts, and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. That’s the beauty of Texas. It’s BIG enough that you can keep coming back and still have somewhere new to explore.

Whether you’re looking for incredible food, family adventures, shopping, sports, live music, history, outdoor activities, or simply a chance to get away, Texas gives you plenty of reasons to pack your bags.

One state. Larger than life. Countless places to discover. Endless memories waiting to be made.

Let’s plan it today.

Oklahoma Travel Agent Expert

Oklahoma is a destination where powerful history, Native American heritage, welcoming cities, and wide-open landscapes come together to tell a uniquely American story.

Oklahoma City, the state capital, is at the heart of this unique state. Here, you can experience the moving Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, a place of remembrance and reflection honoring victims, survivors, and first responders of the 1995 bombing. What once was a place of great sorrow has been restored into a sobering beacon of hope. The memorial is a true picture of how the city has come together in support to move forward with hope and love, an absolute must-see!

Nearby, the First Americans Museum celebrates the rich culture, history, and contemporary lives of the thirty-nine recognized tribes that call Oklahoma home. Oklahoma has one of the largest and most diverse Native American populations in the country, with many tribes forcibly relocated here during the Trail of Tears and other removals. Today, these tribal nations continue to preserve their languages, traditions, art, and stories while remaining an important part of Oklahoma's identity. The museum is a wonderful way to learn not only about their history, but also about the vibrant cultures that continue to thrive today.

For art lovers, check out the Oklahoma Museum of Art, home to an impressive collection spanning centuries and continents. A personal favorite is the incredible collection of blown glass sculptures crafted by Dale Chihuly. With its rotating works, there is always something new to admire.

If you are like me, Oklahoma City might be most well known for its NBA team, the Thunder! Visiting a Thunder game is unlike most other sporting events because of the committed, LOUD fans. With the Thunder being the only professional sports team in the state the arena has become a gathering place full of passionate fans  - they coined the term "Loud City" for a reason you know. Catching a game is more than a sporting event, it's a chance to experience the passion and community spirit that make Oklahoma City so special.

If football is more your sport, head just south of OKC to Norman to watch a game where the University of Oklahoma has a long history of winning. Seven National Championships, fifty Conference Championships - including fourteen Big Twelve titles, seven Heisman Trophy winners, and the longest forty-seven game winning streak in NCAA history are some of the biggest accomplishments on OU's record. But, football isn't the only winning sport at OU! The women's gymnastics program is one of the best in the nation, with eight NCAA national championships. including back-to-back titles in 2025 and 2026. The Sooners have become a powerhouse in the sport, winning four of the last five national championships and continuing OU's incredible tradition of athletic success.

Tulsa's rich history makes it a definite must-see. The historic Greenwood District tells an essential part of Oklahoma's story. Once known as Black Wall Street, Greenwood grew into a thriving community of Black-owned businesses, churches, schools, and homes, becoming a symbol of Black entrepreneurship and independence during an era of widespread segregation. Despite the destruction and loss suffered during the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, the Greenwood community rebuilt and its legacy continues to be honored and revitalized today.

Beyond the cities, Oklahoma offers unforgettable natural experiences. At the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge, visitors can walk across the otherworldly salt flats, where sparkling crystals cover the landscape. The refuge also provides important habitat for migratory birds and wildlife, making it a remarkable destination for nature lovers and photographers. The Plains host an incredible beauty to see in person and it holds a special place in my heart because they are where my husband and I had our engagement photos done. I highly recommend for an amazing photo shoot.

The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge offers another completely different side of Oklahoma. With rugged granite mountains, open prairie, hiking trails, and roaming American bison, the refuge feels worlds away from the state’s better-known cities. It is a wonderful place to experience Oklahoma’s wild beauty, spot wildlife, watch the sunset, and appreciate the unique landscapes of southwest Oklahoma.

Head down to Broken Bow and Hochatown to experience a little escape in Oklahoma. Surrounded by the forested beauty of southeast Oklahoma, the area is known for Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, hiking, fishing, boating, and peaceful mountain escapes. It's the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the outdoors.

Although most widely known for tornadoes, or being the crossroads of major U.S. highways, Oklahoma offers so much more. With all of the history, it is easy to see how Oklahoma represents the American frontier spirit, cultural diversity, and major resilience.

Miami Travel Specialist

Miami is one of those places that keeps giving you reasons to come back. With every visit, I’ve found a new restaurant to love, a new neighborhood to explore, or a new experience that makes its way into my favorite travel memories.

Of course, no Miami getaway would feel complete without spending some time at South Beach. There is something about walking along the shoreline with its iconic skyline in the background, the turquoise water beside you and the warm ocean breeze in the air that immediately puts you in vacation mode. Spend the day relaxing on the sand, take a walk along Ocean Drive, or explore the Art Deco architecture that gives this area so much personality.

When you’re ready to venture beyond the beach, Miami has countless neighborhoods waiting to be explored. One of my favorite ways to experience Miami is simply to get out and explore. During one of my trips, our group rode bikes from our house to a local coffee and bagel shop, which ended up being one of those simple moments that made the trip feel even more special. There is something fun about slowing down, getting some fresh air, and seeing the city from a different perspective rather than always hopping in a car. Of course, stopping for a good coffee along the way doesn’t hurt either!

For a completely different atmosphere, head over to Little Havana. The Cuban influence is such an important part of Miami’s identity, and you can experience it through the food, music, art, and everyday culture.

Miami is also a dream destination for anyone who loves to shop. During my honeymoon, my husband and I spent time at Sawgrass Mills, and we found some incredible designer pieces at a steep discount. My husband had been searching everywhere for a particular pair of Gucci slides, so you can imagine how exciting it was when we finally found them! That shopping experience is one of those fun honeymoon memories that still makes me smile. If you’re looking for luxury shopping closer to the city, explore the Design District, where designer boutiques, art, architecture, and incredible dining come together.
For something a little more trendy, make your way to Kith. Even if you’re not a serious sneaker enthusiast, it’s worth checking out  and experiencing the atmosphere. And while you’re there, try a Kith Treats ice cream. It is such a fun stop and a great way to take a break from shopping.

If you’re looking for a quieter side of Miami, Key Biscayne is the perfect escape. Just a short drive from the heart of the city, this beautiful island feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. Spend the day at the beach, explore Crandon Park, or visit Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and its historic lighthouse. With its lush scenery, beautiful water, and laid-back atmosphere, Key Biscayne is a wonderful option for travelers who want to experience Miami’s tropical side at a slower pace.

Miami’s dining scene is incredibly diverse, with everything from Cuban classics and fresh seafood to modern Latin cuisine and trendy restaurants. One restaurant I personally recommend is Sazon. Their fried whole red snapper, Cuban chicken, and café Cubano are all worth trying. It is the kind of meal that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every bite. I always encourage travelers to leave room in their itinerary for a few different dining experiences because there is so much to discover. And when you’re out late enjoying the city, you have to grab a slice of local pizza. There is something about ending a late night with a slice that just feels right!

When the sun goes down, Miami takes on an entirely different energy. Enjoy a cocktail overlooking the water, explore a rooftop lounge, listen to live music, or experience some of the city’s famous nightlife. If nightlife isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy the evening, like take a sunset stroll, enjoy dinner by the water, or simply sit back and take in the warm evening air.

One of the things I love most about Miami is that you can make your trip as relaxing, adventurous, romantic, or energetic as you want. You can spend your morning riding bikes to coffee, your afternoon lounging on the beach, your evening exploring the city’s incredible food scene, and your night discovering everything Miami has to offer. Beautiful places like Key Biscayne make it easy to slow down without going far.

Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, a romantic getaway, a girls’ trip, a family vacation, or simply craving some sunshine and a change of scenery, Miami offers endless possibilities. From the beaches and culture to the shopping, food, and unforgettable little moments in between, Miami is a destination I never get tired of exploring.

I would love to help you plan your own Miami experience and discover the parts of the city that you’ll be talking about long after you return home.

Sedona Travel Agent Expert

Sedona is one of those places that is almost impossible to describe until you’ve seen it for yourself. The incredible red rocks, beautiful scenery, and peaceful atmosphere make it one of my favorite places to explore in Arizona. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, great food, shopping, or simply a chance to slow down and enjoy the views, Sedona has a little bit of everything.

Of course, the red rocks are the star of the show. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Oak Creek Canyon are just a few of the places that should be on your list. There are hiking trails for just about every experience level, and even if hiking isn't your thing, you can still enjoy some incredible views without spending the entire day on a trail. One way to do that is to take a scenic drive through Oak Creek Canyon, find a beautiful overlook, or simply pull over and take in the scenery. It’s hard to have a bad view in Sedona.

If you’re up for an adventure, there are plenty of ways to experience Sedona beyond hiking. One favorite is taking a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Floating above the desert as the sun begins to light up the red rocks is such a peaceful and unforgettable experience. It requires an early morning and a little planning but it gives you a completely different perspective of the area. If you are looking for something memorable to add to your bucket list, this is definitely worth considering.

Sedona is also well known for its energy vortexes, which many visitors believe are  places where the earth's energy is especially strong. No matter what your beliefs are, there’s something special about taking a quiet moment surrounded by Sedona’s incredible landscape. Popular spots like Airport Mesa, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Boynton Canyon are often visited for meditation, reflection, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Once you experience these places for yourself, it's easy to understand why so many visitors describe Sedona as somewhere they feel relaxed and refreshed.

Sedona is also a great place to spend a day wandering around without a strict itinerary. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is a unique place to stop. Designed to look like a traditional Mexican village, it has charming walkways, beautiful courtyards, art galleries, unique shops, and restaurants. Take your time walking around, browse the shops, grab something to eat, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend more time than you planned.

And then there’s the food!

Sedona has plenty of restaurants to choose from, but if you’re looking for something I personally love, you have to try the sesame chicken from Szechuan. It’s MSG-free and absolutely delicious. It’s one of those meals that makes you think about it long after the trip is over.

I don't consider myself a typical "foodie" but, I do believe a good meal definitely makes a great trip even better... This is definitely one of those meals!

One of my favorite things about Sedona is that you don't have to choose between adventure and relaxation. You can spend the morning hiking through the red rocks, enjoy a great lunch, spend the afternoon shopping and exploring, and finish the day watching the sunset. Every part of the day feels like a completely different experience.

Some of the most memorable moments come from simply slowing down and enjoying where you are. Stop at a scenic overlook, find a quiet spot in nature, sit for a while, and take in the red rocks. The landscape is so beautiful that even the simplest moments feel special.

And whatever you do, make time for sunset.

Watching the last bit of sunlight hit the red rocks is one of those experiences that never gets old. The mountains seem to glow as the colors change from bright orange and red to softer shades of pink and purple. There are plenty of beautiful places to watch it, so find a spot, settle in, and give yourself enough time to actually enjoy it. Trust me, this is not the time to be rushing off to your next activity.

If you’re visiting Arizona, I truly believe Sedona deserves a spot on your itinerary. It’s beautiful, relaxing, adventurous, and full of places that make you want to stop, take a picture, and stay just a little bit longer. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning to explore more, Sedona has a way of giving you something new to remember every time.

There’s a reason this is one of my favorite places in Arizona, and I have a feeling it might become one of yours too.

Dallas/Fort Worth travel agent

Dallas-Fort Worth is a destination where big-city energy, Texas tradition, and family-friendly experiences come together. DFW is BIG, and with two major cities and so many communities in between, there is plenty to see and do.

Dallas brings a modern, energetic side of Texas to the region. The city is known for shopping, dining, museums, entertainment, and distinctive neighborhoods.

NorthPark Center is one of my favorite places to shop. With designer stores, popular retailers, restaurants, and beautiful spaces, you can easily spend several hours exploring. Grapevine Mills is another option for outlet shopping. I think Texas shopping trips should come with an empty suitcase because there is a good chance you’ll find something you didn’t know you needed!

For a different shopping experience, Bishop Arts District is a fun place to explore. The neighborhood is filled with local boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, and unique businesses. It is easy to spend an afternoon walking around, browsing shops, and finding somewhere to eat.

Dallas also has plenty of family-friendly attractions. The Dallas World Aquarium is one of my favorites, with wildlife, birds, marine life, and unique exhibits. The Perot Museum of Nature and Science offers interactive exhibits and hands-on learning, while the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden provides gardens, seasonal displays, walking paths, and views of White Rock Lake.

DFW has an incredible food scene with just about every cuisine you can think of. Bubba’s Cooks Country is a great place for casual Texas comfort food, while Oak’d BBQ and Heim Barbecue are worth visiting when you’re craving barbecue. Lolo’s Chicken & Waffles is another fun stop, and Snooze Eatery is a great breakfast or brunch option. Their pineapple upside down pancakes are definitely memorable!

If you’re looking for tacos, Rusty Taco is worth adding to your list. Their queso is probably the best queso I’ve ever had.

For families looking for something a little more active, Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark in Grand Prairie is another great option. Since it is indoors, it is a fun choice no matter what the Texas weather looks like outside. With water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and areas designed for different ages, families can easily spend an entire day there. It is especially nice to have a waterpark option when you want a summer-style experience without having to worry about the heat, rain, or cooler temperatures. I'd definitely consider it a hidden gem!

While Dallas brings the big-city energy, Fort Worth offers a completely different side of North Texas.

The Fort Worth Stockyards are one of the best places to experience Texas’ Western heritage. Visitors can watch the cattle drive, explore the historic streets and shops, enjoy barbecue, and take in the cowboy atmosphere. Don't forget your hat and boots while you're there!

Fort Worth also has an impressive arts and cultural scene. The Cultural District is home to museums including the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden offers a beautiful place to slow down and explore.

Sports are another major part of the DFW experience. The area is home to numerous professional teams across multiple sports. You could almost consider it a sports mecca, with all the teams including Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and Dallas Stars. Even if you aren’t a huge sports fan, there is something exciting about experiencing a live game and being part of the crowd.

Concerts are another reason to visit DFW. The area attracts major artists throughout the year, with venues ranging from large stadiums and arenas to smaller concert spaces. You can enjoy dinner, do some shopping, and then finish the night seeing one of your favorite artists. Some of my favorite travel memories have been built around experiences like these.

Arlington is an important part of the DFW experience, especially for sports, entertainment, and family attractions. With major venues, restaurants, events, and Six Flags Over Texas, and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, it is an easy addition to a DFW itinerary.

DFW combines the energy of Dallas, the Western heritage of Fort Worth, and the food, shopping, sports, concerts, amusement parks, and family experiences that make North Texas such a fun place to visit.

You don’t have to do everything in one trip, I don’t think you could if you tried! There are always new restaurants to try, stores to explore, events and concerts to attend, games to watch, and new experiences waiting to become a favorite memory.

There is always more of North Texas waiting to be discovered, and that’s exactly what makes DFW worth coming back for.

Austin Travel Agent Specialist

Austin is one of those Texas cities that really has a personality all its own. It’s laid-back, creative, a little quirky, and packed with things to do whether you’re looking for incredible food, live music, outdoor adventures, shopping, culture, nightlife, or just a fun weekend away. It may not be the first Texas destination that comes to mind, but Austin has plenty to offer once you start exploring.

Of course, music is a huge part of Austin’s identity. Known as the Live Music Capital of the World, you’ll find live performances throughout the city, from intimate venues and neighborhood bars to larger concert stages. Sixth Street and the Red River Cultural District are popular spots for music and nightlife, while South Congress gives you a completely different Austin experience with restaurants, boutiques, colorful murals, live music, and plenty of places to wander and people-watch.

Food is another major reason to visit. Austin is especially famous for barbecue, and there are a couple of places I’d have high on any Texas food itinerary. Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que is a great stop for a classic Texas barbecue experience, and their HUGE beef ribs are something you won’t soon forget. Then there’s Franklin Barbecue, one of Austin’s most famous barbecue destinations. Their brisket is the big draw, and the restaurant is so popular that waiting in line has become part of the experience. Austin’s food scene goes far beyond barbecue, though, with Tex-Mex, breakfast tacos, food trucks, burgers, upscale restaurants, international cuisine, and plenty of creative local spots. For breakfast or brunch, breakfast tacos are practically an Austin essential. You’ll also find plenty of casual places to grab coffee, cocktails, margaritas, and a meal between sightseeing stops. The city’s food-truck culture is another fun way to experience Austin, with food trucks and food-truck parks offering everything from traditional Texas favorites to completely unexpected combinations.

For the outdoors, Austin has plenty of options. Spend time at Zilker Park, take a dip in Barton Springs Pool, hike or bike the trails around Lady Bird Lake, or explore the Barton Creek Greenbelt. You can get out on the water for kayaking, paddleboarding, or other activities on Lady Bird Lake, making it easy to mix a city trip with some time outside. One of Austin’s most unique experiences happens at the Congress Avenue Bridge, where huge numbers of Mexican free-tailed bats emerge around sunset during their seasonal stay.

Austin also has plenty of places worth exploring beyond the downtown core. South Congress is great for shopping, restaurants, murals, music, and that classic Austin atmosphere. East Austin has its own mix of restaurants, bars, art, nightlife, and locally owned businesses. Downtown offers attractions, museums, restaurants, nightlife, and easy access to the lake and trails. If shopping is on your itinerary, The Domain has a mix of well-known retailers, restaurants, entertainment, and places to spend an afternoon.

There are also plenty of opportunities to experience Austin’s arts and culture scene. The city has museums, galleries, theaters, historic sites, public art, and colorful street art throughout different neighborhoods. The Texas State Capitol is another worthwhile stop, especially if you want to add some history and architecture to your trip.

Austin is also a great city for events. SXSW brings together music, film, technology, and culture, while Austin City Limits Music Festival turns Zilker Park into a massive music destination. If motorsports are more your thing, Circuit of The Americas hosts Formula 1 and other major racing events just outside the city. Depending on when you visit, Austin can feel completely different during one of its major festivals or sporting events.

If you’re traveling with kids, there are plenty of family-friendly options as well, including parks, swimming spots, outdoor activities, museums, and attractions. And for adults, Austin has no shortage of nightlife, live music, cocktail bars, breweries, and entertainment. It’s also a popular choice for group getaways, celebrations, bachelor and bachelorette trips, and weekend escapes.

And if you have extra time, Austin makes a great base for exploring the Texas Hill Country. You can take a day trip to enjoy the scenery, wineries, small towns, shopping, swimming holes, and outdoor activities. Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, and other Hill Country communities offer a completely different pace from the city and make great additions to an Austin itinerary.

Austin has a little bit of everything: legendary barbecue, live music, outdoor adventures, shopping, nightlife, festivals, history, and plenty of Texas personality. Whether you’re planning a quick weekend or using Austin as a starting point for a larger Texas adventure, there’s plenty here to keep you busy.

Peru Travel Agent Expert

Peru has so much to offer, it's hard to list it all. From ancient Inca ruins and soaring Andean peaks to desert landscapes, tropical rainforest, vibrant cities, and unforgettable food, Peru really does have it all.

For many travelers, the journey begins in Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca world. Sitting high in the Andes, Cusco is a fascinating blend of ancient Inca and Spanish colonial heritage. Wander its cobblestone streets, admire enormous stone walls, explore beautiful plazas and churches, browse local markets, and experience a city where centuries of history remain part of everyday life.

From Cusco, the Sacred Valley is an essential stop. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, the valley is filled with archaeological treasures, traditional villages, farmland, and spectacular scenery. Explore the terraces and ruins of Pisac, discover the remarkable salt pools of Maras, see the mysterious circular terraces of Moray, and visit Ollantaytambo, an extraordinary Inca settlement with ancient streets and massive stone terraces. The Sacred Valley is far more than a route to Machu Picchu, it is a destination in its own right.

Machu Picchu is one of those places that really does live up to the hype. You can see the photos a hundred times, but standing there with those mountains surrounding the ruins is completely different. Walking among its stone terraces, temples, plazas, and pathways is something you really have to experience yourself. Whether you arrive by train or hike one of the famous trekking routes, reaching Machu Picchu feels like the culmination of a much larger journey through the Andes.

But Peru is so much more than its Inca heritage.

Arequipa, known as the “White City” for its beautiful buildings made from pale volcanic stone, is another incredible stop. With the enormous Misti volcano rising behind it, Arequipa has an unforgettable setting. Nearby, Colca Canyon offers spectacular mountain scenery and the opportunity to see enormous Andean condors soaring above the canyon.

Lake Titicaca feels like a completely different Peru. At more than 12,500 ft. above sea level, it is one of the world’s highest navigable lakes. Its islands, communities, traditional cultures, and vast mountain scenery provide an experience very different from Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

Peru’s Pacific coast offers another dramatic transformation. Near Paracas, desert meets ocean, while the Ballestas Islands are home to abundant marine wildlife. Then comes Huacachina, a tiny oasis surrounded by enormous sand dunes. You can explore the dunes by buggy, try sandboarding, or simply watch the sunset over the desert.

For something truly mysterious, visit the Nazca Lines. Enormous ancient designs depicting animals, plants, and geometric shapes stretch across the desert, creating one of South America’s most fascinating archaeological mysteries.

And then there is the Amazon. In places such as Tambopata and the Madre de Dios region, the mountains and dry landscapes give way to dense rainforest filled with wildlife. Jungle lodges, river journeys, hiking trails, colorful birds, monkeys, and incredible biodiversity reveal a completely different side of Peru.

Then there is the food. Peru is a destination where eating can become one of the highlights of the entire journey. Try fresh ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos, causa, ají de gallina, and traditional Andean dishes such as pachamanca. But one of the country’s most important foods deserves special attention: corn.

Peru is home to an incredible diversity of native maize varieties. In the Andes, you’ll encounter choclo, famous for its enormous white kernels and often served with cheese or alongside traditional dishes. One of my favorites was a cheese and corn empanada. Sounds odd, but it is incredibly delicious. Cancha, crunchy toasted corn seasoned with salt, is a classic snack. Humitas are made from ground corn and wrapped in corn husks, while tamales and other regional preparations showcase just how important maize has been to Andean culture for thousands of years.

The Andes are also the birthplace of the potato, and Peru is home to thousands of varieties, many with colors, shapes, and flavors completely different from those found elsewhere.

Peruvian cuisine also reflects centuries of cultural exchange. Indigenous ingredients meet Spanish, African, Chinese, Japanese, and other influences, creating everything from traditional Andean cooking to Chinese-Peruvian chifa and Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine.

You can visit for Machu Picchu, but discover the Sacred Valley. You can come for the Incas, but leave fascinated by civilizations that existed thousands of years before them. You can expect mountains and discover beaches, deserts, lakes, and the Amazon.

Peru isn’t simply a place to visit. It is a place to experience. Come for the history. Stay for the landscapes, food, and culture. Leave with memories that last far beyond the journey home.

With multiple theme parks, a water park, hotels, dining, and entertainment, Universal has grown into a vacation destination that can easily stand on its own.

Universal Studios Florida brings the movies and television shows you know and love into the real world. The park combines immersive attractions, live entertainment, character experiences, and plenty of thrills, making it a fun mix of nostalgia and newer experiences.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley is a major highlight, with winding streets, magical shops, restaurants, and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. You’ll also find favorites from Minions, The Simpsons, Transformers, and more. Even if you aren’t a huge movie fan, there is something fun about walking through these familiar worlds and seeing them brought to life around you. Universal Studios Florida is the movie-lover’s park, blending nostalgia with modern attractions and immersive experiences.

If Universal Studios Florida is about stepping into the movies, Islands of Adventure is about stepping into the adventure. The park features some of Universal’s most recognizable worlds, including Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero Island, Seuss Landing, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade. Harry Potter fans can also board the Hogwarts Express and travel between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, making it possible to experience both Wizarding World lands in the same vacation.

Then there are the thrills. The Incredible Hulk Coaster and VelociCoaster bring serious adrenaline, while plenty of other attractions offer something for guests who prefer a slower pace. Islands of Adventure also does a great job of making the lands themselves part of the experience, so there is plenty to see and explore even when you aren’t waiting for your next ride.

Epic Universe is the newest addition to Universal Orlando, bringing an entirely new collection of immersive worlds to the resort. At the center is Celestial Park, connecting guests to four uniquely themed worlds.

Explore The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, enter SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, visit the Viking-inspired world of How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, or discover the darker atmosphere of Dark Universe.

Each land feels like its own destination, with attractions, dining, shops, and details designed to transport you into the story. SUPER NINTENDO WORLD is especially fun for Nintendo fans, while How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk brings the colorful world of the movies to life in a completely different way. Epic Universe adds even more variety to a Universal vacation, and I would definitely give it an entire day rather than trying to squeeze it into a few hours.

When you’re ready for a break from the theme parks, Universal Volcano Bay offers a full day of sunshine and water. The massive Krakatau volcano is the centerpiece, surrounded by water slides, a wave pool, lazy river, and relaxing spaces.

It’s an easy way to add some downtime to a busy vacation or simply spend the day trading rides for a lounge chair and some Florida sunshine. After several days of theme parks, having a day where you can slow down a little can make a big difference.

CityWalk is where the parks meet dining, shopping, and nighttime entertainment. It’s an easy place to grab dinner, enjoy live entertainment, meet up with friends or family, or unwind after a day in the parks. With plenty of restaurants and entertainment options, CityWalk gives you something to do after the rides are over without needing another theme park ticket.

Universal Orlando’s hotels range from colorful, value-friendly resorts to upscale properties, giving travelers plenty of choices for different styles and budgets. Staying on property also makes it easy to take a break during the day, enjoy your resort pool, grab a meal, and head back out when you’re ready. Select hotels also offer additional benefits that can make your park days even more convenient. And that’s something I really like about staying at a Universal resort: the vacation doesn’t have to feel like one long day in a theme park. That can be incredibly game-changing for families with younger kids who might need break from the park.

What makes Universal Orlando special is the combination of immersive storytelling, recognizable worlds, and big thrills. And that’s the fun of Universal: you don’t just watch these worlds—you get to walk right into them.

Walt Disney World Travel Agent Professional

There’s a reason so many of us never really outgrow Disney. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of watching Disney movies growing up, the excitement of seeing Cinderella Castle for the first time, or the fact that Walt Disney World can make you feel like a kid again, no matter your age.

For me, part of what makes Disney so special is how those memories can span generations. My daughter absolutely loves Disney princesses, while my brother’s favorite park growing up was Hollywood Studios. One of his favorite rides was Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, which has since been rethemed as Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. I love that Disney can change while still giving families new memories to hold onto.

Walt Disney World is so much more than four theme parks. It’s a complete vacation destination with incredible resorts, restaurants, entertainment, recreation, and plenty of ways to make the trip your own. One of my favorite things about Disney is that each park has its own personality, so every day can feel completely different.

Magic Kingdom is the classic Disney experience. There’s just something about walking down Main Street, U.S.A., seeing Cinderella Castle, and realizing you’re actually there. With beloved attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and “it’s a small world,” along with character experiences, parades, and fireworks, Magic Kingdom is filled with the kind of Disney nostalgia that never really gets old.

And if you have a Disney princess fan in your family, Magic Kingdom is hard to beat. From princess appearances and Fantasyland attractions to seeing Cinderella Castle right in front of you, there are plenty of opportunities to make those favorite characters feel real.

EPCOT has a completely different vibe. It’s the park where you can ride an incredible attraction, wander through World Showcase, stop for an amazing meal, and feel like you’ve taken a mini vacation around the world all in one day. World Showcase features international pavilions with unique food, shopping, architecture, music, and experiences, while EPCOT’s seasonal festivals add even more specialty food and entertainment throughout the year.

EPCOT is the foodie and explorer park, perfect when you want your Disney day to be about the experience, not just checking attractions off a list.

Hollywood Studios is where Disney brings the movies to life. This is the park for Star Wars fans, Toy Story lovers, thrill seekers, and anyone who has ever wished they could step directly into one of their favorite stories.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a major highlight, with an incredibly immersive environment that makes you feel like you’ve left Florida entirely. Toy Story Land brings a completely different kind of fun, while attractions like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (my childhood favorite) and Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets deliver some of the biggest thrills at Walt Disney World.

And for me, there’s something especially fun about knowing this was my family's favorite park growing up. It adds a little family nostalgia to the experience that you just can’t get from a guidebook.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom combines the Disney theme-park experience with wildlife, nature, conservation, and adventure. It feels different from the other parks from the moment you walk in, with lush landscapes, incredible theming, and real animals throughout the park.

You can head out on Kilimanjaro Safaris, brave Expedition Everest, or explore Pandora – The World of Avatar. And if you haven’t seen Pandora after dark, put it on your list—the landscape completely transforms once the lights come on.

The Disney experience doesn’t end when you leave the theme parks. Walt Disney World’s resort hotels range from fun and colorful value resorts to beautifully themed moderate and deluxe resorts and villas. Each has its own personality, restaurants, pools, and details that make staying on property part of the vacation.

Disney Springs is another great option when you want a break from the parks. With restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and plenty of places to relax, you can easily spend an afternoon or evening there without needing another theme-park ticket.

That’s what I love most about Walt Disney World: there’s no one right way to do Disney. You can chase classic nostalgia at Magic Kingdom, eat and explore your way around the world at EPCOT, step into your favorite movies at Hollywood Studios, or trade castles for wildlife and adventure at Animal Kingdom.

Add in Disney Springs, the resorts, incredible food, and everything in between, and you have a vacation that can be as relaxing, exciting, nostalgic, or adventurous as you want it to be.

Whether it’s your first Disney vacation or a long-overdue return to your happy place, Walt Disney World has a way of meeting you right where you are.

And maybe that’s the real magic: you’re never too old for Disney! You just experience it a little differently.

Arizona Adventure Travel Agent

Arizona is a place that is truly close to my heart. I fell in love with Arizona in 2020 when I visited at Christmas with my now-husband and his family. There are so many reasons Arizona is special to me, so I wanted to share a few.

Phoenix is where it all started. The Greater Phoenix area is awesome year-round, but at Christmas time, it's truly MAGICAL. The weather makes it perfect for exploring the city and getting outdoors, plus, how cool is it to be able to swim on Christmas Day? There are opportunities for awesome hikes for those who want to take adventures without traveling too far from the big city. Hole In The Rock is a great hike for every age. Our group ranged from 3-64 and everyone had a blast. If you're a little more experienced, you can't leave Phoenix without conquering Camelback Mountain. If hiking isn't your cup of tea, then head over to the Desert Botanical Garden, home to 140 acres of beautiful desert plants and cacti. The Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium, and Safari in Litchfield Park is also one of our family favorites. Featuring unique animals, educational shows, and a ski lift that takes you right over the animals, it's fun for the whole family.

Scottsdale is another favorite, especially Old Town. With beautiful desert scenery, resorts, restaurants, galleries, and nightlife, there's plenty to explore. In my opinion, a perfect evening starts with eating at Farm & Craft. It doesn't matter what you order, but you should definitely get the mac and cheese. Then take a stroll over to Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and sample all the new flavors before sticking with your regular. Scottsdale is also home to the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, an incredible over-the-top resort with everything you could ask for, plus more. Spend time at one of the six pools, including the only beach in Arizona, of course. You can also hit the greens at one of Scottsdale's finest courses, home of the PGA Tour WM Phoenix Open. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hosts incredible events, including a personal favorite, Christmas at the Princess. With 65 acres of Christmas magic, 17 million lights, a real outdoor ice rink, a 120-foot Ferris wheel, fire tables with s'mores, and rides for the little ones, the whole experience feels like stepping into a Hallmark movie. From incredible meals and unforgettable resorts to golf and amazing Christmas events, Scottsdale has you covered.

Sedona is one of my favorite places to explore. Surrounded by incredible red rock formations, Sedona is perfect for hiking, scenic drives, photography, shopping, and watching unforgettable sunsets. Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Oak Creek Canyon are just a few of the places worth visiting. And if you’re hungry, the sesame chicken from Szechuan is a must. It is MSG-free and unbelievably delicious. It’s one of those meals I would drive hours for every time I visit. For a truly unforgettable Sedona experience, I highly recommend adding a hot air balloon ride to your itinerary. A sunrise flight gives you a completely different perspective of the red rocks as the first light of day begins to illuminate the landscape. It’s peaceful, breathtaking, and definitely a bucket-list experience for anyone visiting. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village is another stop that is definitely worth your time. Designed like a traditional Mexican village, it features charming walkways, beautiful courtyards, art galleries, unique shops, and restaurants. Take some time to wander, browse, grab a bite, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Surrounded by towering pine trees and mountains, Flagstaff offers cooler temperatures and four distinct seasons, making it a refreshing change from the desert. Take a stroll through historic downtown, explore the local shops and restaurants, or head outdoors for hiking, scenic drives, and incredible stargazing. It's also a great home base for exploring the Grand Canyon, making it an easy addition to your Arizona adventure.

Of course, I couldn’t talk about Arizona without mentioning the Grand Canyon. This is one of those places that pictures simply cannot do justice. Standing at the edge and looking out over the canyon is something everyone should experience at least once. The views are incredible from just about every direction, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore beyond the main overlooks. If you have the time, take a scenic drive, explore some of the trails, or simply find a quiet spot to take in the view. Sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful, and watching the colors change across the canyon is an experience you won’t soon forget. If you’re planning a trip to the Grand Canyon, I also recommend allowing enough time to actually enjoy it rather than trying to rush through just to check it off your list. It is absolutely worth slowing down and taking it all in.

Of course, that is not all Arizona has to offer; it is just a taste.

One state. Countless places to discover. Endless memories waiting to be made.

Let's plan it today.

Dominican Republic Travel Agent Expert

The Dominican Republic is one of those places that makes it easy to relax, slow down, and enjoy the moment. Who doesn’t love that? From beautiful beaches and vibrant culture to incredible food, there is something for everyone. Each area has its own personality, and I love that every visit can be a completely different experience. I've had the greatest experiences each time I've visited, largely because of the warm, welcoming people.

Punta Cana is one of the first places people tend to visit when traveling to the Dominican Republic. It is the perfect place to settle into island time. Known for its incredible all-inclusive resorts, Punta Cana is where you might want to go just to get away from it all. You can spend your morning walking along the soft white sand, take a catamaran cruise, snorkel in the Caribbean, or explore the countryside by ATV. Of course, you can always grab a tropical drink and enjoy the beach while watching the sun go down... Ahhh relaxation!

On the northern coast, Puerto Plata offers a different side of the Dominican Republic. Surrounded by mountains and coastline, this is a great destination for those who want to mix relaxation with adventure.  Wander through the historic streets or spend the day at Playa Dorada, a beautiful beach definitely worth visiting. You can also ride the cable car to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres for incredible panoramic views you won't soon forget. If you're looking for a little more excitement, you can explore waterfalls, go ziplining, enjoy river adventures, or take part in one of the many outdoor excursions. Puerto Plata is a great place to get out and explore while still having plenty of time to enjoy the beach.

La Romana is a beautiful destination and an incredible home base for exploring some of the Dominican Republic’s most spectacular sights. A day trip to Saona Island is a must! Spend the day surrounded by white sand and crystal-clear water while taking in the postcard-worthy views. You can also snorkel or dive around Catalina Island or visit Altos de Chavón, a remarkable village overlooking the Chavón River. La Romana gives you the best of both worlds, with beautiful resorts for relaxing and plenty of opportunities to get out and experience the area.

If you are someone who loves nature, Samaná needs to be on your list. This lush corner of the Dominican Republic feels like a tropical adventure waiting to happen. Visit Playa Rincón, hike to El Limón Waterfall, or explore Los Haitises National Park by boat. During whale season, Samaná Bay is an incredible place to see humpback whales. With its mountains, hidden beaches, and waterfalls, Samaná is a wonderful choice for anyone looking to experience a more natural and peaceful side of the country.

Then there is Santo Domingo, where the history and culture of the Dominican Republic truly come alive. Explore the Zona Colonial with historic buildings and landmarks dating back to the 1500s. Its cobblestone streets, historic churches, and museums are definitely a must-see. One of my favorite things to look for is Larimar, the beautiful blue gemstone found only in the Dominican Republic. Its ocean-inspired color makes it such a special keepsake to bring home. When you are hungry, visit local cafés and enjoy some incredible Dominican food. From mangú and mofongo to fresh seafood and delicious desserts, there is so much to try! A place I highly recommend is CachArepa, a local Venezuelan restaurant I always look forward to visiting and never leave disappointed. Santo Domingo is a great addition to a beach vacation for anyone who wants to experience the heart and history of the country.

For those looking for a little more luxury, Cap Cana is an incredible escape. Featuring upscale resorts, beautiful beaches, and a stunning marina, Cap Cana is also home to Punta Espada, the #1-ranked golf course in the Caribbean. It's an incredible destination for golfers from around the world. Cap Cana offers a more polished and tranquil Caribbean experience, making it an especially beautiful choice for couples, milestone celebrations, or anyone looking for a little extra indulgence.

If a slower-paced coastal atmosphere is more your style, Bayahibe is worth a visit. This charming fishing village has a relaxed Caribbean feel and provides easy access to incredible island excursions, snorkeling, and diving. Here, divers can find three shipwrecks and incredible coral formations to explore. Whether you spend the day in the water or simply enjoy the slower pace of this beautiful seaside community, Bayahibe is definitely worth checking out.

With all I've shared, it's clear that The Dominican Republic has so much to offer, but there is still so much more to discover. From luxurious resorts and peaceful beaches to incredible adventures and rich history, there is something for everyone. Whether you want to relax, explore, experience the culture, or do a little bit of everything, the Dominican Republic will always be at the top of my list.

Avid Florida Lover & Travel Agent Expert

Florida is my home away from home. Who doesn't love it? There's something for everyone, from the fast-paced night-life of Miami to the chill, relaxed atmosphere of Marco Island. I have yet to find a place in Florida that I don't love.

When you think of Florida, Miami is probably one of the first places that comes to mind. Miami is where tropical energy, vibrant Latin culture, and unforgettable flavors come together. Take a stroll down South Beach, taking in the turquoise waters as you dig your toes into the white sand. Miami is also an incredible place to go shopping, hit up Lincoln Road and enjoy the views of all the palms while shopping at your favorite stores and local boutiques. Check out Sawgrass Mills for incredible deals on designer items, or visit the Design District to explore a neighborhood transformed into an open-air luxury retail and art destination. One of my favorite aspects of Miami comes into play whenever it's time to eat. Indulge in everything from Cuban classics to fresh seafood and modern Latin cuisine. The warm ocean breeze, salt in the air, and endless sunshine make visiting Miami a dream vacation any time of the year.

Naples is a beautiful Gulf Coast escape known for its laid-back luxury, pristine beaches, and relaxed tropical atmosphere. Stroll along the iconic Naples Pier, explore charming boutiques and galleries, or enjoy fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants. And for a truly memorable meal, head over to Rumba and enjoy the bone-in chicken, a true hidden gem. It's some of the most flavorful, perfectly seasoned chicken I've ever had. Pair it with the vibrant atmosphere and you've got a dining experience you'll be dreaming about long after returning home... at least I do! With its beaches, shopping, golf, and fantastic food, Naples is the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and coastal charm.

If you are looking for a slow-paced escape, Marco Island is the perfect place for relaxation. Just south of Naples, it is a tropical paradise on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Tiger Tail Beach is a must visit, experience the calm waters, nature trails, and incredible shelling. Marco Island is famous for its abundance of shells, with colorful and unique treasures washing up along the beaches after the tide. Wander out to the end of the "tail" to feel completely one with nature surrounded by the water. Because of the calmer waters, it's an amazing place for water sports. Rent a jet ski or kayak through the canals for a fun adventure. For an unforgettable evening, hop aboard a sunset cruise and watch the sky glow over the Gulf while keeping an eye out for dolphins and other wildlife. The community there is very warm and welcoming, making an incredible place even more enjoyable. For a true R&R trip, give Marco Island a visit.

The Everglades are unlike any other place in Florida, and it is a dream for those who love wildlife! The subtropical wetland known as the "River of Grass" is home to many amazing creatures like panthers, black bears, Burmese pythons, and it is one of the few places on earth where crocodiles and alligators naturally coexist. I believe everyone should experience an air boat tour to safely see some Alligators in their natural habitat, the local guides always add to the experience with the greatest stories. This is an incredible place to learn about wildlife and nature. If you consider yourself a nature-loving individual, or you're simply looking for a new adventure, everyone needs to visit The Everglades at least once.

We all know Orlando to be home to spectacular theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal, SeaWorld, and LEGOLAND. And while we all love these incredible places, Orlando has so much more to offer that I don't want to go unseen. Discover a refreshing side of Central Florida with crystal-clear natural springs. You can swim, kayak, and explore wildlife while being refreshed by the fresh cool, crystal-clear water. Head over to Winter Garden to walk along the historic streets and check out the local shops and cafés. If you want to try your hand at freshwater fishing Kissimmee has many lakes providing world-class fishing. However you choose to spend your day, it's always a good time to head to Winter Park to get a scoop (or three) of ice cream from Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. With world-famous attractions, charming towns, incredible food, outdoor adventures, and some of the most beautiful freshwater springs in the country, the greater Orlando area offers far more than theme parks. It’s a destination full of experiences for every kind of traveler.

Although I highlighted just a few places Florida has to offer there is so much more. Go snorkeling in The Keys, make sand angels in the powdery sand in Destin or explore the incredible history of St. Augustine. With all these incredible places it is impossible to pick a favorite. There truly is something for everyone in Florida. I would love to help you start exploring today!

Holiday Trip

Reviewed By Matt - Oklahoma | Traveled to Arizona | USA

Last year, our family decided we would all take a trip together to Scottsdale AZ over Christmas break. Zoe was fantastic in helping us coordinate different itineraries for 7 families with 5 different arrival/departure schedules. Even with multiple different flights, accommodations, and rental cars, the whole trip was seamless. We were all able to spend quality time over the holidays without all the hassle and stress that family travel can bring. I definitely recommend Zoe as a travel agent for her attention to all the little logistic details and ability to find great deals that made it financially feasible for our whole family, and we would not have been able to make the trip as great (if at all) without her.

Family Christmas Trip!

Zoe planned an awesome trip to Arizona during Christmas time with our whole family. Everything about it went so smooth, even while coordinating around 15 people for that trip. She was on top of finding the best options and prices for not only travel and stay but for activities as well. If you liked hiking there were some great options for that, if you liked to shop, she knew some of the best places to shop, On top of some really good food options. Thoughtfulness and patience are the two main words that come to mind when working with/traveling with her. She plans great trips and the quality of each trip speaks for itself every time! Booking with her will ensure your trip is seamless and enjoyable the entire way through!

Me and some of our closest friends wanted to visit Destin Florida late August of 2023. They are a family of 7 and we are a family of 3. Our accommodations were right off the beach with a beautiful balcony giving us amazing views of beautiful water and palm trees. We actually were unsure if we could finish the trip because of a potential hurricane. We contacted Zoe and she secured our flights to make sure we were able to leave as planned. She gave us peace of mind and handled a potential issue while we enjoyed our last two days in Destin. She’s way more than just a travel agent and our family is thankful for all her help!

My wife and I wanted to plan a trip with all of our adult children and their families to be together in a beautiful location for Christmas 2025. That’s 14 total people. Flying in and returning home at different times. Zoe handled all the flights and accommodations and knocked it out of the park with Christmas-themed activities for the grandkids. We took a day trip up to Sedona all because Zoe planned the perfect short hike for the family. None of us are avid hikers but she found the perfect trail that still gave us some amazing views. We made memories as a family that I’ll hold close to my heart for the rest of my life and Zoe was a major part of the trip being so great! Highly recommend her!
